i haven't came across a girl with that right mind, My granny told me once if a gurl wants to spend thousands of dollars for one night wedding she is not going to be a financially responsible wife. now, this aint about spending money but to see if that person has other smart ways to divide the spending. Is there any lady that would rather save her wedding money then to spend it all. |
Ok bro how about this on da flipside, y is it so easily overlooked at what Africa has in abundance dat da west lacks eh? R we not faaaar more morally in tune with the basics humanity n didn't sell our souls 2 a constant capitalistic struggle! A struggle which decays the very fabric of a society, yes africa maybe poorer in terms of financial muscle bt isnt Africa happier n more mentally stable with less suicide rates?A place where kids can wander n exercise their right 2 play freely as ur worries r cushioned by a child catering neighbourhood devoid of peodo fiends! It sickens me when we always subjecting mama Africa 2 endless criticisms about how behind she is in virtually everything! Hello please let's redress these issues n let them aspire 2 learn from us n borrow a leaf from our books! With every resource they take we give em a proverb 2 live by too.Xcuse the fury in my words n yes there is substance 2 ur Facts up above laakin it doesn't merit solely attributing a whole continents dilemma 2 age! N y r we soooo content as Africans as being labelled 'behind'?? |

You saw a Nigeria person committing a crime (say hit someone car and drive off), would you be as likley to write down his plate number and give it to the victim rather than a non-nigeria? Would you protect the culprit because he is nigeria , or would you not care for his race and still report him? |
^Mental abuse for sure, wearing a person down and making them feel they are worthless is much more damaging long term than physical injuries which in time will heal. |
Both are extremely terrible and may have similar impacts on one’s life, but what would you consider worse in a relationship, physical or mental abuse? |
# 1, she has to have a great relationship with her mother. 2) she has to have a great personality. 3) she has to be kind and caring. |

to lose the oral component of the language. I remember when she first came to my school. I was a freshman and so was she. She spoke perfect Nigeran before she switched school. I saw her last night, and guess what? She "forgot" the language. She "understands" but she can't fully "respond" in af Nigeran. how convenient |
A friend of my brother was asking me for advice the other day and I didn't know how to answer him, so I pose the question to you. Basically, he catches the train to and from work everyday. On his way back, he often sees a sister get on the train with him. He knows she is single and wants to approach her and tell her he's interested but has no idea how he should do it. If you saw someone at the shops or somewhere and wanted to let them know you're interested, how would you do it |
me personally the definition of happiness when your at peace with yourself and your lord |
Not physically. Emotionally, if one is deprived of the love of a parent, a loved one or anyone in their life (past or present), can there be pleasure in acting detached, untrusting and aloof to punish those around you? I was watching an episode of House and it made me think weirdly |
MzDarkSkin:i just needed answer i was google http://thinkexist.com/quotation/date-sideways-never-up-or-down-sideways-is/1225257.html |

Date sideways, never up or down. sideways is usually a more comfortable position for both players and one of the players can be heads up or heads down. in this position, any significant height difference of either player is minimilized. |

asalamu alaykum, all. I was reading something over the weekend and was quite blown away at this man's thinking ( may Allah have mercy on him). It was the thinking of a well-loved shaykh from long ago and I'll reveal all later and give you the reference to the book and all that. Question: What is the worst and most difficult type of patience ? For all that read this, have a go and join in with your suggestion. When I first came to read of it, it took me some time to see it from that point of view. It'd be good also if you gave us an explanation of why you think it is so. I look forward to knowing what all of you think. wasalam |
"I cannot count the good people i know who in my mind would have been better if they bent their spirit to the study of their own hunger".-M.K.FISHER ~ The hunger for love and care is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread. ~ Mother Teresa Some times we realize we have other hungers beyond food and drink. these are soul hungers, they also demand attention as much as food and drink. So what do u hunger for? |
Assalamu alaikum I heard this weird story the other day and it made me wonder what the meaning of marriage is in the diin ( Islam) and what our traditions are concerning this act. Someone I know ( a girl) got married to a man in America. She lives in Europe and doesn’t intent to go to America to live with her husband, also her husband doesn’t want to move to Europe and live with her. Her father, who lives in Africa, gave the masuuliyad to the sheikh, who did their nikaax, through the phone. Plus, the hubands has another wife and kid in Africa. Is this meher islamically correct? Isn’t the whole idea behind a marriage the fact that the man and woman share a household together, have kids, basically share their lives together? I would understand it if one of them actually moved and went to the other country. But this just doesn’t seem right to me. I was wondering about what the diin’s points of view are on this subject |
A fat man leads a group of people out of a cave on the coast, but he gets stuck in the cave opening. Soon the tide will fill the cave with water and the whole group will drown, with the exception of the leader, who has his head out of the cave. Fortunately (or unfortunately) one in the group have got a little dynamite. It seems impossible to help loose the fat man, leaving the rest of the group in a dilemma |
I need to know what Islam says about investments in stocks and such and whether it is allowed. Really appreciate it |

When was the last time you had an "ah ha" moment, i mean a moment when everything stopped almost as if you found a gap in space and time, and something became clear that instant second. |
A wedding is a big occasion in any society, but in Cuba it can also be big business. Many Cuban women see a foreign husband as a ticket out of the country - a passport, possibly, to new prosperity Anyways , heres a funny article , too downpatch to be true http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/4749591.stm Anyone interested to start a local Nigeria version? LOL ![]() |
