Living in Nigeria can make you have zero feelings for people who genuinely need help. Next time avoid giving out your phone to strangers regardless of whether their story might be geninue or not. |
RollinTNDA:Did you pass through the university...if yes you should know that hostels outside the school campus are called lodges. And these lodges have names. So if your name is Peter and you're living at royal lodge, I can easily save your name as Peter royal lodge. It doesn't mean anything. |
JASONjnr:The problem here is that bottle water would reach N500-800 per bottle cos they know they don't have any competition. And they're not even considering the countless pure water companies that would have to shut down because of this law. APC is just out to destroy this country. |
Tallesty1:That's exactly what I'm saying |
Tallesty1:It wouldn't matter if he isn't earning much. That's what the girl in the post was trying to say and I agree with it. A struggling teacher earning 50k should let his wife know his income so that she'll grow a conscience and stop asking him for money unnecessarily. Where there would be a problem is if the husband is a high earner, then he should just keep his earnings to himself. |
Tallesty1:I don't get. |
This advise is for low income earners. Let's say you're earning 100-250k, you can even transfer it to her sef let her use her hand and plan how it would be spent. You can't be making over 5m monthly and pay it into your wife's account. That house wouldn't contain both of you the day she requests for 3m and you don't give her,cos she knows how much is coming into your account. |
They're not even putting on live jackets. |
This reply wasn't necessary. Sometimes silence is the best way to get rid people poking their nose into your affairs. |

9jatriot:In the US their average minimum wage per month is about $2,400. And their average electricity bill per month is about $140. That's less than 10% of their minimum wage. And note they have uninterrupted power supply. Compare it to Nigeria where minimum wage is 70k and some people using post paid in Band A pay over 100k every month. How can your electricity bill be higher that your minimum wage and you don't expect people to voice out their frustrations? Where on earth does that happen? A friend in the east called me and was lamenting that his monthly post paid bill is 155k. How much is he earning, isn't the government plunging people into poverty. Even if you want to defend the government, try to be reasonable. Imagine you're earning 200k and your street is dragged to band A where you'll have to spend over 75% of your income on electricity would you applaud the government? When citizens of other countries spend less than 10% of their income on electricity, you're here defending a government that's making her citizens pay over 75% of their income on electricity. If you don't have any problem with that, it means you're still living in your parents house. The day you become independent and start paying your own bills your orientation would change. |
His family should just sue the church for false accusations, dehumanization, kidnapping and attempted murder. It's an easy case cos the lad is a minor. Oh! I forgot...in Nigeria justice is for the highest bidder. So the church might win. |
Sellfish:The worse part is that this ES350 model comes with an in-built reverse camera. So the moment she moves the gear to reverse, she'll be able to see what's behind her on the screen on front of her. She obviously doesn't know how to drive like you rightfully pointed out. |
Try to by your foodstuffs in bulk. It's much cheaper that way and last longer. Also encourage your wife to support the home. If she isn't doing anything, dust her CV and work towards getting her something doing. Buying food everyday to cook in this Tinubu's administration is nothing but punishment. Just do bulk cooking on weekends that can last your family for the next 2-3 weeks. |
Zonefree:Some people no sabi lie. The simple question here is how many landlords allow tenants raise chickens on their property knowing fully well that the poop and smell would inconvenience other tenants? If he's story is true which I highly doubt, all he has to do is to inform his landlord. |
arantess:Yea. I understand. A man's got to hussle for the Benjamins. |
arantess:I've never played Xbox before. I've always been a fan of Playstation. Although I heard it's also good as well. I don't think I have the time to explore it. |
arantess:OK I get you now. Sadly I didn't really play my PS2 with people then. Cos my cousin sisters weren't into game like I was. So I ended up playing it all by myself. I started with PS1. Konami and winning eleven. Then PS2, then PS3 and currently PS4. But these days I don't play it like I used to do years ago cos I'm much more busier than I was then. |
Carcholce:I've used the Google. Now who is on a nursery rhyme? The worldwide population of people (both male and female) who don't dream is less than 7% The worse part of ignorance is arrogantly arguing even in the face of overwhelming evidence.

I stopped taking Nigerians serious after APC won in Edo state. It's very clear that despite the suffering and how people keep complaining, they'll still vote for Tinubu come 2027. We've not yet learnt our lesson. |
HurricaneLanter:The US doesn't need to declare war on Iran before you know that hostilities exists between them. Are you aware that Iran and North Korea are supplying Russia atilery shells and other weapons in their war against Ukraine? The US and NATO is fighting a proxy war with Russia through Ukraine so it's safe to also say that hostilities exists between the US and Russia as well. |
arantess:This format was in International league, cup...etc. I don't remember seeing it in masters league cos in masters you'll start from division 2. The format I remembered was that you can adjust the settings to use the main players of your club and not the league's useless players. I wasn't a fan of anything other than masters league cos the urge to buy and sell players made me love it. |
The world is heading for destruction. Cos if any of either Isreal or Iran uses nukes on each other, it would mark the beginning of the end of the human race. |
arantess:Never heard of round Robin. I was a masters league lover in PES and that was the only thing I played on PS2 back then. |
HurricaneLanter:That's because hostilities exists between the US and Iran. So getting involved in this conflict by proxy is the best way for them to get back at Iran. |
I don't like how UEFA arranged this season's UCL. Honestly it just doesn't make any sense. All the teams would play each other one leg and get points like in a league. 1-8 would automatically qualify while the rest would play play offs. The winners would join the top 8 in the round of 16, while the loosers would go to Europa league and the bottom 11 would go home. I still preferred the group stages era. Maybe they're test running this method to see if it would Favour the big teams. If it doesn't they'll revert back to the traditional group stages. |
EreluRoz:Welcome to Africa. |
