D lockdown wasnt supposed to cure ppl of d disease, it was supposed to help ppl already exposed to d virus to self isolate and to reduce spreading to others while contact tracing is ongoing. By showing symptoms dey can be easily identified and tested. But d only problem with dat is d number of ppl dey would have com in contact with within those period.

Agreed, our health sector is messed up but It's being over a month now and we don't have dead bodies on the streets yet. Testing has nothing to do with the low figures, symptoms will eventually manifest in patients weather tested or not. I think they should try to do a research on why Africa has slow spread and fantastic recovery rate.

Granted and it is even a gud thing... My theory is dat Africans have somewhat built up their immune from years of treating Malaria, typhoid and all types of fever.. Testing has a whole lot to do with d figures. So many cases are untested and have been unknowingly infecting others. Take d cases in Ilorin and Anambra for example. It wasnt until dey fell ill and visited d hospital before dey were discovered. Now imagine d number of ppl dey have exposed to d virus. Let's jus hope my theory is right but den it's only wen d true figures begin to reflect dat we will begin to know for sure

Sometimes I jus dont know what to tell ppl anymore. Is it dat some of U do not know how to research on ur own to confirm stories before carrying dem on ur head? First things first, what experiences have u gotten from other countries dat is helping? D continent depends on drugs, test kits, and every other thing from d developed world. D continent instead of being proactive stayed and watched until d virus spread before dey reacted. How many hospitals in Nigeria for example is ready for an outbreak of any kind?
Now to d main issue u raised, There are NO VACCINES YET so which one are dey coming to test in Africa?? When will u ppl stop peddling dubious and uninformed ignorant comments about? Secondly other countries are testing trial treatments while all we know how to do here is peddle very ignorant stories and claim to b religious while we are wicked even to ourselves.. Thirdly vaccines are NOT USED TO TREAT DISEASES, DEY ARE TAKEN TO PREVENT DEM SO DAT PPL BECOME IMMUNE TO DEM... Meaning sick ppl cannot take take vaccines but treatments. There are vaccines for meningitis, Polio, even typhoid fever..

Other countries in d developed world are testing ppl in their tens of thousands daily, Nigeria so far has tested jus over 5000 ppl..
