Will this News ever make it to the front page?Your guess is as good as mine solely because of the names and ethnicity of those culprits involved. |
Thanks for that write up.It is quite informative i would say. Please i will like to find out if the cashew nuts are exported as raw(removed from their shells) or roasted like the once sold in shops or supermarket? Also if one wants to go into export of the nuts like how much will he need as a start up capital. Thanks once again. |
@sammyrollo that thing is not frog but toad..dia's different between the two species...frog has spot on dia body why toad does ntI am sure it's the other way round. What we have here is frog which is edible and has smooth skin and is one of the common delicacies eaten in France and China. On the other hand toad is the one with bumpy and rough skin, that is poisonous. |
My brother the kind of news coming out of our country these few days is quite worrisome.Check out this one just happened yesterday. Punch News Online. Sunday, January 13, 2013 Doctor, 27, murdered in Lagos traffic by ENIOLA AKINKUOTU and TEMITAYO FAMUTIMI Irawo Adamolekun A gunman operating on a motorcycle on Friday shot and killed a 27-year-old medical doctor, Irawo Adamolekun, at the Anthony Village end of Ikorodu Road, Lagos. Irawo, who was driving in a black Sephia II Kia saloon car with Lagos number plate GP 388 AAA was shot at about 3:15pm in front of the traffic warden spot linking Access Road to Ikorodu Road. It was learnt that the Ondo State indigene who had just left Osuntuyi Medical Centre, Obanikoro, where he works, was shot after he declined to part with valuables when the gunman attempted to rob him in traffic. Eyewitnesses said the gunman who was wearing a three-quarter length short, shot the deceased at close range, mounted a waiting motorcycle on the other side of the road and fled the scene. The deceased was taken to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja by officials of the Lagos State Ambulance Service. A traffic official at the scene of the incident, who pleaded anonymity, told SUNDAY PUNCH that the gunman shot Adamolekun on the forehead adding that he was the only one in the vehicle. He said, “Everybody here including police traffic wardens and men of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority all fled the scene on hearing the gun shot. “The gunman fled on a waiting motorcycle immediately he shot the deceased. “When he was shot, his vehicle hit the Toyota Hiace bus in front of him and caused a gridlock. “On moving closer, I saw the bullet hole in his head and he was in the pool of his own blood. “Policemen from Pedro Division who came in two patrol vans and LASTMA officials later towed his vehicle away from the road.” The Chief Medical Director, Osuntuyi Medical Centre, Dr. Julius Osuntuyi, said Irawo was employed in the hospital on January 7, adding that he left the hospital after he closed for the morning duty which lasts between 8am and 3pm. He said, “We are very saddened by the death of Irawo who joined the services of this company on January 7. His doctor-patient relationship was excellent for the few days he spent in this hospital. He was amiable and likeable by all and you would think that he had been working here for months. “One of the patients he treated some days ago who thought he had an accident spotted his car on the road and telephoned us at the hospital. We took an ambulance to the scene before we learnt about the unfortunate incident.” Osuntuyi urged the police to unravel the mystery surrounding his death and bring the culprit to book. When our correspondent visited the Pedro Police Division, the front seat was full of blood while his ward coat was dangling from the driver's seat. The deceased was the only surviving son of his parents. A family member, who spoke to one of our correspondents on the condition of anonymity, said the deceased's older brother, Imole, died some years ago. She said, “Imole was a student in Igbinedion University but died around 2004 in a car accident while leaving the school for home. He was the first born and it left the family devastated. “Irawo was the only surviving son. He was also in Igbinedion University but later left to attend Houdegbe University, Benin Republic. He concluded his internship not too long ago at a military hospital and he had his life ahead of him.” Attempts to speak with the deceased's sister, Ojia, proved abortive as her telephone was switched off. When contacted, the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, said she would call back but had yet to do so as at press time. |

I still respect this lady when it comes to Nigeria politics. She has paid her dues.Rochas is a small boy compared to Senator Chris Anyanwu in politics. Can Rochas try that with Senator Arthur Nzeribe?
|
And how did you arrive at that figure of 95%?Because some of your friends over there are into Yahoo doesn't mean almost all Nigerians there are doing it.It baffle me how someone who has never stepped out of Naija will be telling of what happens in far away China. |
Nigerians in China are mostly business men who export goods to Nigeria.Having lived there for many years ,i know factories where these goods can be produced at a relatively low cost and when you export them to Nigeria and they are sold you will be counting your millions. On the other hand there are those who are in the fast lane, typical of Nigerians hustlers. There are those that work in companies, warehouses and also those that teach English.I hope i answered your question. |
If i may ask the poster, what kind of job do Nigerians in America do because they come back especially during festive period to oppress. If you answer this question i will tell you what work Nigerians do in China. |
@ babiifaace HI all,i have been observing this trend for a long time and couldn't say anything becos i didn't know about the subject matter. Both i just came back from cotonou on friday. I went there bought a car and paid all custom duties and everything took 5days plus the public holiday on Tuesday.I must tell u, if u want a good car that u are sure of and ur budget is small, go to cotonou urself. The car i bought, these People called agents or dealers in NairaLand will tell u 1.3mill to get it to Lagos and so on,but i bought, paid all custom duties, hotel, feeding and transport for far less than 1million.So i final conclusion is cotonou cars are cheaper and better,i drove down to Abuja without even adding water to the car,no problem what so every. If i may ask, doing the clearing yourself with the customs don't you think you might have been cheated? I am sure using an agent will have been a better option as they will know the actual amount to be paid to the customs.I don't trust those naija customs at seme border. |
How much will 2004 Peugeot 407 station wagon cost me in Cotonou excluding the cost of landing it at my house. Thanks |

Misleading caption.I didn't see anywhere it is reported in the story that they arrested anyone rather they have begun a manhunt. |
I guess this is the Alex Ekubo they are talking about.I don't believe all these craps.
|
I can bet with everything that I've got that this thread will never make it to the front page, because of the tribe of those culprits involved. |
This island was given/sold by Chinese in the 1800's and now the Chinese are saying they don't recognise the treaty which ceded the land to the Japanese family that bought it.Just because the place is now believed to have abundant natural gas and other deposit. |
So far this year about 1 million Chinese tourists visited Japan and dont forget China sell to Japan 90% of Rare earth they(Japanese) use in their high tech productions and other scientific innovations.By and large its going to affect Japans economy very drastically but don't underestimate the Japanese. Funny enough it's the youth who have never seen war and were raised to hate Japanese that are making all these noise about war.I also see the handa of the communist government in this whole thing.Whenever they want to mark the anniversary of the communist party, they always bring up something that has to so with the west of former colonialists to whip up sense of nationalism, distract the people from the main issue which include democracy, freedom od speech, rule of law and corruption. |
A fifty year old man has been caught sleeping with his fourteen year old daughter in their one room apartment in Lagos. The man has reportedly been sleeping with Fatima his eldest daughter since she was 7 years old. Fatima said she lose her virginity to her father at the age of seven when her mother was pregnant with one of her younger brother. She said it wasn’t until 4 years ago that her mother became aware of the sexual relationship between them. The teenager who explained her ordeals in the hands of her father said, he had sex with her regularly at least once every day except when she was observing her menstruation. When asked about her mother’s reaction when she discovered what was happening between Fatima and her father, she said her mother responded that they could go on with it since they have come a long way doing it and they are both enjoying the abominable act. Fatima describes their home as a one-room bedroom apartment where the whole five members of family sleeps every night. She said her mother sleeps on the only available bed with the other two kids, Fatima sleeps on the floor with her father where they had sexual intercourse at least once every night after Fatima’s mother had slept. She said she had never been pregnant for her father nor had she ever done any abortion. Reacting to the report that he was sleeping with his daughter, Mr. Salau said he was trying to see what he can do to stop the act since they had come a long way. Seeing the name, I'm not a bit surprise.I don't know if is it's the norm for these people to have intimacy with their little daughters. |

Op what your nationality? And why would all the Nigerians you've met in your life claim Ghanians?Do you mean that good reputation is exclusive preserve of Ghanians? What about other African countries?I know you are a Ghanaman trying hard to bring up(rivalry) you people are best known for. |
Road has nothing to do with this. When i served in North i witnessed this first hand. They speed as if the can't die and are very careless while overtaking.Maybe it's because their roads are smooth or the mentality that if they die from accident its Allah's wish. |
This type of thread can't make it to the front page. It's thread such as "I want to bus a car, what is your advice" "photo of Jim Iyke eating roasted corn in Afghanistan" Or crime committed by an Igbo man that will get there in a flash. |
we will pamper our husbands in such a way that they would not look at any other woman by the grace of God.Ok oooh! |
And what exactly has GEJ done for the South East since his election? The river port he commissioned was actually started by Yaradua. The only thing he has done for Igbos as far as am concern is given Ikemba Emeka Ojukwu a state burial finish! |
