tuale4u: All dis nothern senators is not thier fault. If not for d stupidity of my Niger Delta brothers who are so fixated on Hating Buhari due to Instigation by the Igbos as a result of Jonathan loss, this senators wont be bold enough to openly admit adding more money to Kano rail at the expence of Calabar rail. When in d same speech, the same senator is telling us they have d power to add and remove any item from d budget.
If they can add and remove any item from d budget as they claim, why is it Niger Delta project that they are removing due to flimsy excuse that it was not on d original document despite d fact that it was presented to them in d senate as an addedum.
The greatest traitors to d Niger Delta right now are those fools, and extreme bitter people who are ready to kill d development of Niger Delta just because they hate Buhari 4 cheap political point.
The truth is dat Buhari got nothing to lose. He is a 72year old man who has been Governor, Minister, millitary head of state and today democratically elected president. He is already a great achiever.
We Niger Delta people are being foolish and myopic. We must protest against NASS.
We must not give away what belong to us just because Jonathan lost election. Niger Delta is bigger than Jonathan loss. We must move on and stop harming ourselves. Jonathan is a Beneficiary of Niger Delta Struggle. He was never part of d struggle. We must not destroy our region jus because of a benefiary who never contributed much to our region when he got d opportunity.
We are just being stupid and foolish.
According to Peter Obi former Governor of Anambra state, Igbo are d cause of thier maginalisation because they dont know how to negotiate politically when others (North and South west) are negotiating for thier people.
My Niger delta brothers, please we must not end up like them. We should be wiser.
The Lagos Calabar rail is just named Lagos Calabar . The Rail actually goes from Lagos to Calabar to Aba to PortHarcourt to Ughelli to Sapele to Benin and to Ore to Ibadan and back to lagos. It is South west, South South and South East rail. The rail is expected to also link Onitcha and Asaba and Warri.
We claim we are more educated then the North. We brag with our worthless PhDs. Notherners with ordinary primary Six certificates are dribbling our PhD senators like Lionel Messi. Why are you this upside down. You see the truth and you can't say it. |

I kind of love this worded reply. Looks like what I'll write on a good day.
Humm salivating...
The only reason some people are attacking our lawmakers from the SS and SE is because.
- They can never hold buhari led executive to account for ANYTHING.
- they want to protect Buhari at all cost.
- They have decided to believe that the Lagos-calaba rail project was in the budget and was removed by the lawmakers.
Truth is. It was never there. I repeat THE EXECUTIVE DID NOT PUT IT IN THE BUDGET. |

All these ones na stunt. Amaechi have forwarded a script to this senator today so that he can rub minds with his colleagues. After all, he is the only person who knows this.
There's no way they would have brought the amendment through the right channel that other law makers and even the speaker will not know.
Look, anyone with neutral view can easily see through this.
My own is that they should get that project started. We must also commend vanguard news for blowing the whistle. |

Politics › Re: People Working For Buhari Are Lying About 2016 Budget — NASS by ndcide(m): 11:24pm On Apr 10, 2016 |
lawyer: What are Buhari supporters trying to defend here? The Lagos-Calabar Railway was NEVER INCLUDED in the Budget presented. So why would you remove something that was never there in the first instance? Even if you discuss it privately with Amaechi and all the NASS members, as long as it wasn't in the initial padded Budget, there is no need to spread lies that it was removed or SS/SE Senators did not fight to get the railway included in the budget. It was never included in the first place. All these lies and propaganda must stop. Its getting to much and it reeks of desperation of an unpopular government.
If the budget wasn't initially padded from the beginning to steal billions of Naira secretly, all these back and forth of the budget won't be there in the first place. The sheer level of corruption and mind boggling sums of Money that was to be voted and padded to these Ministries is unbelievable coming from a Government claiming to to fight an Anti corruption war and we thank the NASS for exposing these corruption Buhari wanted to unleash on the Masses through his first Budget presented in December 2015
I also saw a picture of Buhari and Osibanjo studing the new budget and APC media stupidly made it viral as if they were doing us a favour. Have they forgotten so soon that Buhari just 4 months ago presented to the NASS and whole world the most fraudulent budget ever in the midst of media noisemaking, pomp and pageantry. Buhari presented that corruption ridden budget HIMSELF and called it a "BUDGET OF CHANGE". When the budget was discovered to be a fraud, sham and www.budgetit.com exposed their hypocrisy, Buhari secretly withdrew the Budget which led to issue of the missing budget. Today APC and Buhari are now pretending as if they did not present a budget of yams but are patting themselves on the back for reviewing the new budget before it is signed.
Buhari is like a student who presented his homework to his teacher and the teacher discovered he cheated and returned his homework back him to redo it but this time, he is letting the whole world know he is redoing his home work and should be applauded for it.
Below is the picture of Buhari Presenting the padded Budget of Yams which he signed, scrutinized, endorsed, approved and presented himself to the NASS Gbam!! Thank you Sir. This had been my point. |

seunmsg: At least, he's now doing what you want. Hope you are now happy? Yes na... He should keep it up. That's why I was angry with him on the budget issue. And I stated it here many times. There's no was a budget that was adopted first at the FEC will have issues of padding and the president and ministers are feigning ignorance. I can't agree with that. And I took on people offline who tried to defend such ineptitude. Reason, there are always specific project that are of interest to the president across the country and all sectors. He must at least check to know if they were captured and funded. Even if all the projects that interests him are all in daura. But for a president is shouldn't be. There's no way he shouldn't have seen it. What if those he promised to see to some specific projects call him to ask, what will he say. Let's say OBJ told him about an issue of which he promised,; he will not be sure if it's well captured in the budget? No CEO will let that happen. Thank God his people on nairaland told him some of what we said. |
