Politics › Re: The Asaba Central Hospital And State Library Complex Projects By Okowa by ndcide(m): 11:22am On Apr 04, 2016
Being a true deltan who supported okowa, I must tell him that he should do everything possible to develop the state. The hospital in question should be given priority and finished within the next 9 months these projects have been this way since ibori. He should know that also for the central football pitch (not a stadium) housing the state sports commission, that have remained that way since ibori. I wonder what's in a central library that former governor Emmanuel couldn't finish.

Okowa should know that much is expected of him we trust him to deliver, he has no choice. He has to prove his mettle. He most have visible developments across the three senatorial district, he must not always use proxies. He should come out he should be a visible and a known governor. That's the only way we can fight for him.

Okowa show come out and be seen. He should visit every part of the state. He is condemned to change the pictures of Asaba and Warri for better. Has that area close to refinery road been fixed?

He should not forget that politics in our state is very aggressive and people will fight him to take his sit. He should work before they make him unpopular. OKOWA PLEASE DO NOT DISAPPOINT US WHO PRAY DAILY FOR YOU.

I want to be here in Lagos and hear of your giant strides. I want to visit delta again and know you are in charge. Please let this message get to him. A hospital that is being built since ibori in Asaba will be criminal if you don't complete it and the people take it for granted.

Okowa, these guys will fight you. You know them, you know our people, they'll fight. Please work for the masses.
Ndcide have said his. I pray some how this gets to you.
Politics › Re: No Fuel, No Light , No Water , Nobody Is Protesting. Why? by ndcide(m): 10:25am On Apr 04, 2016
The protest will come at the right time. Just wait. They'll Always deflect their incompetence. Just wait. Very soon even the 16 years line won't work. Just watch. Some have even diverted the issues to black marketing. Go outside Lagos, is there black market or the petrol station are selling at extremely high prices.

Just wait the protest this time will be radical because it's not only going to be about petrol. Allow these guys twisting things for political reasons to continue.
Politics › Re: Fayose: I’m Not Interested In The Presidency by ndcide(m): 10:13am On Apr 04, 2016
The news came from APC. It was a lie and I wasn't interested. The question is, are we better off now? Has our purchasing power increased? Is there electricity light? Is there petrol? Are we creating more jobs at the moment? What's are plan on health, education, transportation etc.

That should be the issue. Attacking fayose by floating false information is absolutely unnecessary.
Politics › Re: On Your Point This Morning : Should Fayose Be Taking Seriously? by ndcide(m): 8:50am On Apr 04, 2016
I think fayose remains a great tool for Democratic balance in a highly manipulated political sphere.

Democracy involves contestation of ideas, challenging the status quo, ensuring that authoritarian agendas does not manifest, ensures that power holders keep their eyes on the ball, knowing that power is transient and can only be used for the betterment of the society. Ensures that leaders are daily evaluated, their policies scrutinized and they are made to understand that not everyone will see things the way they see it all the time, hence must be wholistic in their approach to issues, irrespective of the urge to be parochial and extremely partisan.

Fayose quintessentially remains that person who fits in there. He remains that person who makes the central government understand that there is another group who can see things differently and will not for the fear of being seen as a fifth columnist hold back on constructive but different view of things.

He is a voice and face of the opposition for now. It takes a high nuisance value to be effective in this role and he has it.

Ladies and gentlemen, take this out of any democracy and the democracy dies.
We must not forget that the accession to power of the present government was through this route, it also enhances the confidence of the electorate to change governments If and when they like. We cannot let this die because of an APC government. It will be grand foolishness to justify and trust any government without daily interrogating their stands evaluating their moves and reminding them that time is of essence. It is witchcraft for everyone to be submerged into the same political movement, narrative, and party. Where than will the choice come from?

It is normal for apologists of a government to be uncomfortable with open challenge, it is normal for humans to want to preserve and protect their own, it could also be seen, like a child who doesn't want his/her wound to be treated because the process is discomforting. We all know that is grand foolishness.

The central government anywhere, must come to terms with this and be civil and avoid unnecessary reprisal attacks, like the recent arrest of ekiti legislators, of which up till now, the reason for the camp down cannot be substantiated. It should never get that low else, the central government will become unpopular.

We all must be for all government and be for no government, people like fayose must be acknowledged and supported. Also, the opposition in ekiti state must do same. That is the only way to get the best of both sides.

I'll concluded by saying that those against fayose, of which the spirit of this thread portrays, are ostensibly ignorant and need to see things from the positive angle at all times.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Thank you.

Romance › Re: When A Guy Wants To Marry A Virgin Girl By All Means... by ndcide(m): 1:49pm On Apr 03, 2016
Some people just want to believe that all guys are engaging in illicit and reckless sex. Hence, they add it to every statement they make relating to the need for people to want Virgins or the need for people to be chaste and remain sexually pure.

There are people who have not kissed the feet of bal.
I believe in chastity and don't see any disadvantage in it.

Like I always say, people will always react to this issue based on their weaknesses.

Why should a guy not be a Virgin and why should he not desire to marry a Virgin?

Abegy... If everyone is reckless about sex and they want to justify it, shouldn't something tell you that something is wrong somewhere? and it's most likely evil?

You missed the most prevalent/rife of them all.

The biggest sin in the body of Christ today is the most obvious.

It is LYING.

There is an increasing dearth of sincerity and integrity in the church today.

False testimonies, unearned/undeserved titles, mindless exaggerations, outright manipulation of the congregation and other sharp practices are gradually growing roots in today's church.

The Lord will preserve His church. The spirit of righteousness and truth will reign again in the body of Christ because God's mercies endureth forever.

Things were not this bad because the previous government was throwing thrillions of naira in subsidy payments at the problems ..dubious contracts, bunkering, pipeline vandalism are other contributing factors .while tackling all these factors the government will be dealing with various stakeholders including labour..oil marketers..host communities ..players in the upstream and downstream etc some of whom are the saboteurs and were feeding far on the irregularities .the pain is temporary and is worth bearing for one time solution to the lingering petrol scarcity .
So what point are you hitting at? That FG is back to paying subsidy after making political capital out of it?

Or that we don't have petrol or we suddenly started having sabotage in the sector that wasn't there before ? Which one.

Lol, op and his wailers friends trying to play us for fools! Kerry said if money is hidden in HIS COUNTRY AMERICA, they would know. Jonathan on the other hand was trying to tell us that anywhere money is hidden in the world, be it Nigeria, irãn, kaduna, America will know. That was and it's still a dumb statement from Jonathan.
You are not intelligent. There's no were you'll keep 20billion US dollars, that the US government won't know about it. It's that simple.

We heard what he said. It's even stated above. The amount is far more than the grants Africa as a whole receives. Let's just move on.

Look, some of us knew what happened prior to the elections. It's just that it's beyond some persons.

If you remove the government will any government coming in now make the queues disappear overnight? The government is working round the clock to fix the refineries , fix the depots, repair the pipelines and build a strategic reserve to have fuel always . All these takes time and would have been easier of the past governments have been as serious as this government is. Things are very bad, because of the dilapidated infrastructures at the depots and perforated pipelines all fuel imports have to be trucked from Lagos to everypart of the country that is not even economical and logistic nightmare. If I remember correctly when subsidy was stopped in January we were told the price may be reviewed by the next quater but instead of reviewing the price the government decided to cushion the effect by introducing subsidy again temporarily . It's not economic suicide and not alien in economics as governments put policies in place from time to time to achieve their objectives having the people in mind.
I put it to you, that things were not this bad.
Politics › Re: FG Returns Petrol Subsidy, Retains Official Pump Prices by ndcide(m): 7:56am On Apr 03, 2016
The only thing this government may hold on to would be that people stole money. Finish!

I remember " who is subsidizing who" they've made people think the last president was foolish, that he is a thief etc now just look. APC should know that they will be judged on their own merit. They have dragged the last administration along to the extent that they'll make Nigerians look back. The gaffes and flip flops will be too much for the Buharideens to cover up.

You can't demonize the position you want to occupy and yet perform below expectations or doing what you openly criticized. It takes you back.

Politics › Re: Nigeria More Divided Under Buhari Than Under Jonathan – Pat Utomi by ndcide(m): 8:34pm On Apr 02, 2016
I agree with Prof Utomi 100%. Some simple minds have quickly zeroed it to SE things it's most unfortunate. The fact is that Nigeria is so divided now BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A CONVERGING LEADER.

politics is naturally divisive, even in homogeneous states groups align and have their sentiments.

Okay what of a state like Delta state. It is incumbent on the leader to be a relying point and converging / United in his approach. That is state craft.

Look at the silly reasons people are responding with, haba! Who will now tell buhari the truth. Today it's wailers, tomorrow, it's pdp people still in government, next is the SS And SE don't like buhari. What the heckhuh?!! Later they'll say it's sabotage Some people are just mad.

It's like some persons want to protect the president of Nigeria from Nigerians.

They should continue, when it hits the roof it will be too late. Any one showing buhari election results statistics is not helping buhari. Buhari must unite Nigeria now before it will be too late. It's his government. Those supporting him on this are not helping him. I've said my own.

Doubtful. I can't readily think of any where in the world where a certain class/group of people unilaterally align. Its just wishful thinking in my opinion. I hear this type of argument often that if only the masses can discipline ourselves, we can stamp out corruption or lawlessness etc. My take is its never going to happen as it is against nature that everybody within a sample size just align without some form of "teleguidance" from the "top". Take a look at nairaland for example and you'll see what I mean. Everybody cannot just sleep and place their heads in the same direction.

For me the answer still lies on the government to re-orientate the nation. To restore our value system. If a man refuses to take a carton of indomie from the politician campaign rally, he will most likely be laughed at in his community. People will call him a fo0l. Same goes for a young and brilliant man/lady who want to contest but refuses to "induce" delegates (many of whom are also youths).

Our national value system is crap! that is the problem as far as I am concerned. Take the most passionate youth and entrust him with a national post, s/he will most likely derail due to unnecessary influences - starting from his/her immediate family. Everybody just seem to be waiting for supposed God's opportunity to partake in the national cake. Reuben Abati used to be a sound critique of the government pointing out where they fall short. One would have thought he will use his then-found position in Aso Rock to practice what he preached. But, something changed and he defended a government that said stealing is not corruption huh
OK

You have point bro. Really you do. But are the youths of this day as reach as any of the "old school" they wish to displace? That's the problem.

Tinubu is someone that can easily by the idea as long he gets his own share. But my fear is that they will likely rubbish it completely because they always want their "share" in everything.
The man may just wake up one day, with a little "free kanu, freee kanu" "we need a voice, he is a voice" you know that kind of stunt, get the FG to free him, create his own narrative, use his media guys to do justice to it, project it, while keeping a false idea of the struggle , and maintaining the youth followership, use the political capital and momentum to displace the various incumbents, force a narrative that they didn't stand up to be counted when it mattered most, before you know it the waves will submerge everyone of them and he remains the godfather some how.

.

The current political landscape does not leave much room for deserving youths without "god fathers". How many youths who have not embezzled from somewhere can afford the governorship ticket of political parties (not to mention that of the presidency). Money is the name of the Nigerian politics and anyone that does not have it (and a strong godfather) is just wasting his/her time. This is what need to change first before condemning all the youth as a generation.

Having said this, the youths need to be more proactive in politics. But then, I know for sure the youth have and continue to make Nigeria proud in other sectors of our national lives.
Good! This your point got me thinking. What if the youth align with a formidable youth movement, like the Nnamdi kanu stuff, refine and redefine it, Own it, build a common front, and match along with it, don't you think it will be good?

That's the kind of movement the youth need now. You'll not have a money bag kind of politics you talked about. I'm only speaking strategically. Is not as if it's going to be perfect but, it's an in road into great youth structure and relevance.

That's why I'm not all into this kill kanu, kill kanu, A strategic thinker could just take over this opportunity. I got this when Rev Kukah, spoke about Nnamdi kanu.

I think this can be exploited. The south east youth can exploit this Nnamdi kanu following into a form of regional renaissance and transformation if the biafra thing does not work. But Nigerian youth in general needs it most. I feel someone like tinubu can just hijack this Nnamdi kanu movement and it will be lost.

I'm only trying to be strategic in thinking.
Politics › Re: The Coward Generation Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria(CGFRN) by ndcide(m):
The greatest problem is daft partisanship that I'm seeing all over.

Some of us youths are not interested in principles, but in methods.

I thought those who Campaigned against the last government did so on the need for a kind of Renaissance. But all I see are people who are not ready to interrogate their beliefs, evaluate their choices and make demands that shows that they are for any good government but for no government.

All I see is brazen sycophancy with those who want to justify their votes. By clinging to the narrative of the past wasn't good enough also.

No employer will keep an employee who blames his inabilities on his predecessors. But in Nigerian politics, we are made to believe that's the right thing.

No youth will find his way to political power if we as youth don't believe we can. It's not going to happen if we want to protect any government just to justify our votes. The only way out is if we stop sycophancy and show seriousness in demands and sincerity of purpose. When you are sincere and consistent in demands, even the super natural forces affirms it.

It will not happen if the answer to, set up a cabinet, is what did the previous government do, or the answer to why is power deteriorating is, what did the other government do. Or the answer to what is your economic plan so that private sectors can align is, what did the other government do for sixteen years.
Or the answer to the question of why is the purchasing power of Nigerians deteriorating so fast, is, there's so much damage in the last sixteen years.

Until the youth refuse to conform, sorry there's no way out. The youth will not be given a chance. Fact! The youths will be used as an instrument for political contests nothing more. It will remain so until we become absolutely uninterested in a buhari or Jonathan government but in a government that is condemned to deliver now or die out.

That's the only way out. Who stays on the path of a moving trailer without brakes. Until the youth get to that point forget it.

I also speak to myself.

In addition, though from delta state which may not be in the forefront of the biafra story , I see what is needed in the Nigerian youth in Nnamdi kanu. I mean if well refined and directed. Trust me, the spirit and mind, I see it in Nnamdi kanu. I think if we can get hold of him and channel his resources rightly and exploit it for general purpose , I think he is someone who has some of what it takes. I may be wrong, but can't be absolutely wrong .

carry out the desire of the flesh.

Does the @op, want to carry out the desires of the flesh or not?
You mentioned fiancee, she could just be a sin partner. Those that name the name of the Lord almighty must depart from iniquity.

Comparison of fornication and masturbation and giving reasons for it is just giving an occasion to commit iniquity. Sorry, I don't pretend with issues like this.
