The man pulled out his drawer and there was my transcript just lying there. For how long it was there, I don't know. They apologized and told me to go back to the bursary and request for my money back which I did. The bursar absolved himself of blame even after saying he won't give me the whole sum of money (it was 500 Naira then). He instead gave me 450 Naira and pocketed 50 Naira.
