‘Why you shouldn’t make friends with divorced women’ — Pastor Ibiyeomie’s wife. By Enitan Abdultawab Pastor Peace Ibiyeomie, wife of Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has advised married women to be cautious about forming close friendships with divorced women who are unwilling to reconcile with their former partners or remarry. The cleric gave this piece of advice during a Mother’s Day service at Salvation Ministries in Rivers State and stressed that some divorced women often speak negatively about marriage while secretly maintaining relationships with men . “Do not follow a divorcee as your friend even if she is your sister. Teach her, either she reconciles with her husband or she remarries,” she said . . . https://nigeriaworld.com/news/source/2026/may/12/32.html |

Transcripts. It took me about three years and even then I only received it when I was in Nigeria. For three years I waited for them to send my transcript to no avail. Then my mother applied and informed me that they have sent it to me but I didn't receive it. When I visited home the following year, I stopped by my alma mater and reapplied and paid the required fee. When I came back, just as the personnel was processing it, one of their colleagues said they it was likely my transcript was already processed and that they should check. The man pulled out his drawer and there was my transcript just lying there. For how long it was there, I don't know. They apologized and told me to go back to the bursary and request for my money back which I did. The bursar absolved himself of blame even after saying he won't give me the whole sum of money (it was 500 Naira then). He instead gave me 450 Naira and pocketed 50 Naira. |

Scammers everywhere. But seriously, why would anyone consider migrating to Burkina Faso? The place doesn't strike me as a rich country. In West Africa, the only countries that may look alluring to migrate are Ivory Coast and Ghana. |

"Osefo allegedly lied to police about stolen property." "Real Housewives of Potomac" star Wendy Osefo and her husband Edward Osefo were arrested this week on fraud charges, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office in Maryland. According to a Facebook post from the sheriff's office on Friday, Wendy Osefo and Edward Osefo were taken into custody on Thursday and charged with "multiple fraud charges" after allegedly lying to police in April about having property stolen from their home during a vacation. I had a layover in Istanbul on my way to Nigeria. I was put in a suite at a hotel near the airport after paying for a Turkish visa (otherwise I would have slept at the airport) . I enjoyed my experience there like the delicious food, the mall by the airport and the opportunity to attend a wedding at the hotel. Very elegant wedding and looked expensive. Wished I could have explored the Bosphorus sea. I will like to visit again and also explore other places like Lake Uzungol, Antalya, Cappadocia, Trabzon . . . |
