What will these pedophiles not say, a girl of 11 raped you a 56 year old man? An 11 year old girl can rape you, especially when she met you watching adult film? For real? Come to think of it, why are issues like these common in Osogbo and Ilorin? Agbaya (good for nothing old fool). That man should be.............................. I'm lost for words now. A 56-year-old man, simply identified as Moses, has been arrested by officials of the Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) over alleged rape of 11-year-old primary school pupil in Osogbo, the state capital. The suspect, who was earlier detained at the state command of the NSCDC had been transferred to the State Investigation and Intelligent Bureau (SIIB) of the state police command for further investigation. The Assistant Commandant of NSCDC, Mr. Idima Augustine said Moses was arrested in Olorunda Local Government Area of the state after a tip-off by a non-governmental organization (NGO). He was was alleged to have raped other young girls in the area. Augustine, who dispelled the possibility of mental illness on the part of the suspected rapist, said the wife of the suspect who claimed to be a prophetess in a branch of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in the state ascertained the mental fitness of her husband. In his confessional statement, Moses said it was the 11-year-old girl who raped him in his living room when she comes to visit him after school hours. He said: "It was this young girl that actually raped me. Two of them came to visit me when they closed from school and they met me watching adult film. One of them left and the other waited. After some time she removed her pant and came closer to me and also removed my trouser and clothes too" Moses also claimed that he did not penetrate when he had sexual intercourse with the girl, asking “how could I have raped her when I did not penetrate”? “I gained her consent before I had sexual intercourse with her. I also gave her money and some other items she demanded from me after the whole thing.” He further said that was not the first time the girl would come to him and he would give her whatever she requested from him, adding, “I had given her money on several occasions even without doing anything with her”. The NSCDC boss informed that the suspect might soon appear in court, adding that the offence committed was a criminal one. https://www.nscdc.gov.ng/Newspg.php?ID=64 |
This issue have two divides, first u cant blame the King, he has his own reason, he want to revolt and change his people's belief on their tradition they don't really need again. Secondly, the Youth, you cannot blame them, they were only acting on ignorance.... its normal, people act weird when you intends to change what they believe in...... This is how some cultures fizzle out |
Atleast, this would affect both the rich and poor... Something must be done about it..But wait oo. every wahala in NORTH now is blast..RICE BLAST...Fear dey fear me ooo ![]() |
In as much as the Innocent may be among the dead... I will still say that they should kill them all, let god settle them........ |
KANO (AFP) – Nigerian soldiers shot dead dozens of young men in an embattled northeastern city during raids in four areas considered strongholds of a radical Islamist group, residents and a morgue attendant told AFP Friday. Residents of Maiduguri, the home base of Boko Haram Islamists, said the troops who swarmed late Thursday ordered males in their teens and early 20s to separate from others in the neighbourhood. In the Kalari area, they told the young men “to lie face down on the ground,” then asked the rest to look away. “All we heard were gunshots. They shot them on the spot,” said the elderly resident, who did not want to be named. “They did the same in three other neighbourhoods. We went to the morgue to collect the bodies and we found 48 in all.” A resident of the city’s Gwange area told AFP that the alleged massacre was “like a movie scene.” The troops “picked young men from their homes and were shooting them dead before everyone and took the bodies away to the hospital. I have never seen something like this,” he said, also requesting that his name be withheld. The Sabon Lamba and Gomboru neighbourhoods were also said to have been raided. A morgue attendant at the Maiduguri General Hospital said they “received 39 bodies yesterday which were brought in by soldiers. They all have fresh gunshot wounds.” A military source declined to comment on the allegations when contacted by AFP, saying only that if such killings had taken place, they were “unjustified”. Maiduguri is the epicentre of the Boko Haram insurgency which is estimated to have left 2,800 people dead since 2009, including killings by the security forces. Amnesty International has charged Nigeria’s security forces with committing massive rights violations, including summary executions, in the campaign to crush the Islamists. In its report released Thursday, the rights group documented a series of alleged extra-judicial killings by the military and police in Maiduguri. The military dismissed Amnesty’s allegations and has consistently denied similar reports in the past, but residents have on several occasions accused soldiers of firing indiscriminately on unarmed people, often following attacks on its personnel. Nigeria is Africa’s most populous country with an estimated 160 million people, where most in the north are Muslim. The south is predominately Christian. Boko Haram has struck most often in the northeast, but its attacks have stretched across the broader north and down to central Nigeria. In addition to the security forces, Christians, government officials, and other symbols of authority have been targetted. •Steal Holy Communion, sacred books •Congregation pray for suspects From PAUL OSUYI, Asaba In what could be described as a Sunday shocker, hoodlums broke into the Catholic Church in Illah, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State. They stole the Blessed Sacrament, otherwise known as Holy Communion, from the tabernacle. The hoodlums also vandalized the entrance to the tabernacle to gain access to the communion. They also broke into the sacristy and stole sacred books. The bandits, who came under the cover of night, made straight to the tabernacle, broke into it to remove the communion before invading the sacristy and carted away the books. A source, which doesn’t want to be named, statedthat other materials including cassocks, chasubles, vestments and others were not spared. The source added: “Up till now, we don’t know where they have taken the sacred items to or what they intend to do with them. “It is a mystery and I do not know how such materials would be useful to them.” Following the invasion, the leadership of the church in Iselle-Uku Diocese has declared one week of reparation prayers in all the parishes (Catholic churches) across the diocese, which covers the entire Delta North, except the three council areas of Ukwuani. During the one-week reparation prayers, which will commence today, there would be no spiritualactivities, including masses and prayer meetings, in the affected church, which would be shut. The prayers are to seek the mercy of God for the suspects. They would be held for 30 minutes everyday for the period. |
