I already have the specs in mind but most laptop always come short in one feature... I am a Dell person but my new desired specs will burn my pocket if I stick to the dell line...

Highlights are:

1TB HDD or more with a SSD combo (my present laptop has a 750GB HDD)

2GB Dedicated Nvidia Gaming Graphics (I prefer Nvidia to ATI)

Intel core i5 or i7

14inch is preferred screen size but could used a slimline 15inch screen like the Dell 15 series

10 point Touch Screen support

Those are the main specs I've been using to search for a replacement...

I've seen all in Lenovo Y410p and Y510p but I'm still doubting the brand.

The price of Dell XPS 15 with all these specs will buy an Acre of Land in Ogun State

the meat they cheap pass chicken sef, chicken also cheap pass beef (1kg= euro 2.50-3.0). the only thing u can not get at the supermarket is garri and egusi (very expensive at the african shops arround)

If you have to buy a new laptop for ur study, pls i'm begging you, dont waste your money in naija. you could get a new lappy here for euros 250-300

Well as you can see from what you bolded, I didn't wade into whatever differences that you may have with him. All I was saying is that you un-ban him for the benefit of the newbies. He is not on a stipend for doing whatever he does neither does he receive anything in kind as a motivation to do whatever he does. He absolutely has nothing to loose. I PLEADED that you un-ban him because his contributions are invaluable to newbies on the thread.
Sometimes, its good to let some things slide for the benefits of others.

Anyone here undergoing a Masters program in Universitaet Bonn? I have a serious issue here. The application is online and they insist the transcript must be converted to the ECTS system or my application will be rejected, which my frustratingly useless school said is impossible . I don't know if anyone here can help with any (official) document from anywhere explaining the credit system in Nigeria.

Also, my HOD from the same frustratingly useless school has blatantly told me he is not giving me any letter stating the language of instruction (an alternative to the language tests). Does anyone know any walk-around to this (excluding taking the TOEFL and IELTS tests)?
Please I need your urgent replies as deadlines are approaching.

I sent them a copy of the statement that was sent last year but they said they needed one that is not more than a month old. That is, a new one. I have tried contacting the bank via the form on their website for international students and block account but they are yet to get back to me so I was wondering if anybody had a similar challenge in the past and could offer a more better solution like a direct email that they check quite often so as to get a swift response.
