mysteryman2014:I learnt that Jos is also much closer by road. Do you think the road is safe from the senseless killings of fulani herdsmen? |
Dear Nairalnders, My sister was posted to Bauchi despite... and she will be travelling from Anambra (Asaba Intl Airport) by flight. Does anyone know how to reach Bauchi camp by flight? Which airline should she take? I would also like information concerning transportation from Bauchi Airport to the orientation camp. Thanks in advance... |
mosefin19:Are you going? |
I just read the thread. I didn't see where you mentioned the cost of building this. Would this fit in a plot of land? |
spyder880:I meant that you should give more information because I am interested in it. |
spyder880:What type of duplex is this? |
Do you have a reliable contact or Estate Agency in purchasing property around this area? Do you know anything about Dubai Estate? What do you think about the Estate. Perhaps we can talk through PM if you have time or leave me the information here and I can read it up. spyder880: |
Where in Awka did you do the fencing? I could see a lot of empty lands. How much does it cost for your service? |
Have any of you tried to send foodstuffs like dry leaves or fish, okporoko and Co from Naija? How much does it cost? Don't tell me to go to African store abeg, I don't know what they sell their, that whenever you cook with it, it tastes horrible. |
ottersberger:I don't know where you live but I have a different opinion as you. People from Bavaria are complex, difficult to please and only wants themselves to be heard. Have you ever tried to present the attitude of Bavarians to themselves and then they would call you aggressive or whatever comes out of their mind. They are hard working I must confess. The more North you go, the more accommodating Germans you would find. |
That sounds too good to be true... We hope for a better future! |
Talibanis:First time I have seen someone mention chimera. What did you study? |
okpala95:Shoot your question and I will answer you...I don't have time for PM's. |
aktem:If you have money, go and do your masters abroad. |
damzy88:University of Ulm...Masters in Finance. It's just that Baden-Wurttemberg now pay 1500€. |
justwise:I really don't know how you do it. To have the knowledge to digest these informations and still correct them when they are wrong or chip in your own information which is right most times. And you do it for so many thread in the travel section. I still remember the good old days when I was in "Travelling to Germany" Section trying to find my way here. You are there with your online police uniform, cutting them scammers off. You have really contributed in making sure that a lot of Nigerians who wants to leave Nigeria for greener pasture succeeded. All these free here, free that in Germany is true until you come and live here. Osho Free dey run belle. Yes you don't pay like you do in the UK, but you pay semester contribution, health insurance, semester ticket, housing and your living expenses. At the end of the day if you didn't start to work from the first semester that you came here, there won't be anything left out of the 8000€ you came with. The system is always designed not for you to be so rich. You live a modest life and if there's anything that makes you so rich, it's because our money doesn't have value and you can change 1€ to 463 naira. Is coming to Germany worth the trouble? Yes at least, something works here... |
You can't blame her...being a celebrity comes with publicity. You don't expect a whole banky to have a small wedding... |
Dear Nairalanders, I have a friend who is going home to Nigeria from Europe after living there for a while. She plans to stay in lagos on arrival. She lived her whole life in the east and doesn't understand the hustle and tussle of Lagos. I will need advice on landing and staying in a decent hotel in Ikeja. She plans to go with a little cash and change it with aboki which I think it's not wise rather someone would transfer it to her account when she arrives there? Is Ikeja as an area safe to lodge? Can she use Uber taxi to move around to sort herself out while she's in lagos to get the required documents she needs? I also think there should be a general safety tip for people coming back home after a while and are not familiar with how things run in the country. |
PentiumPro:You tend to expose your ignorant by trolling online seeking attention. I am a product from the east. Am I sound? Yes...Did I cheat to be sound? No...A greater majority of us are sane enough not to be dragged into an ethnic war online just because you felt we didn't merit what we got. You're not the first and You will not be the last but then it doesn't stop us from still leading...If you feel like we are cheating to be there, why not try and outsmart us because I think it's only smart ones are intelligent enough to cheat. And we have registered far more records than a 26 year old with a PhD that's why we have names like Charles soludo, Dora Akunyili, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala...I just mentioned a few. |
I can't stop laughing...bikonu |
PrettyClare7:Babe your face look familiar...I am from Uruofolo too. |
Udmaster:Who gave you this information? |
missKiffy:It's tradition...The essence is that the king has to die a mortal death and then reign as a spirit. No...The eze nri is not believed to die when he passes on, he's believed to join the spirits and as such another should succeed him. His successor is never his son rather his son is the regent to the throne. |

I thought as much...Thanks for the advice |
Mystiqme:And I emailed back... |

Mystiqme:Hi mystiqme. I am a masters students in the ecology field exploring options of a PhD in the states. I think you are already there so I ask you leave clues as schools and useful links like steps. I considered leaving a pm but I don't know. I just need stuff like a tip or clues that serve as guide. Would you recommend your Uni and what are my chances of getting funding? |
