English restaurants, firms here consider english-speaking applicants some times tho.
Even some hardcore german firms too. But the jobs they'll give doesn't always involve much talking.
That's all I know. Maybe naijaobi nevillbot have other perspectives since they're in this scenario..
You can register with a Job agency here and they will be calling you if there's a job. Usually you start with a book production company and then graduate to a metal producing company which is usually on weekends and with like over 25 percent bonus. You will also get such bonus on night shifts... I will make it clear for all of you thinking that you will get rich with the European system while you're still a student. What you earn is being regulated and once you earn up to 8000 euro per annum they will take you off the student tax system and use the other tax system suck whatever you think you are working and earning from then on...except you have a black work which you don't pay tax for but that doesn't even come often.

I guess that's how gals in your area behave. Here, smiling at you means they are purely interested and you are been invited. grin. Germans are honest and straightforward. No time for forming.
It depends where you're anyway like you said. Here smiling is a default face. Which city are you by the way?

Hehehe..Really? But I thought I heard the opposite. That when they do that, they are actually leading you on as they are very honest and straight forward in their dealings and they into blacks. Lol. Really funny though.
Forget what you heard bro...I came here to see something different. Smile no be invitation to woo her. Honest and straightforward is debatable...You don't expect a woman you met at the club to be honest. They're not really into blacks except it's a crazy german. #MYOPINION. Most normal ones tends to know the boundary and it takes them time to accept you. You have a lot to proof. But then there's no rule to a person's behaviour as Germans can also be unpredictable

Most Naija guys like Nevibot go tell you say dem no need am but truly they crave to date a white person which is like doing a Bsc programme here. Imagine Bsc on top your masters...You will just die. Lol...Dating for white girls here means losing their friends and family most times. Because it's very hard for German families and friends to accept the dating black thing. So it's mostly you and her going solo which to me it's love suffocation because it's not like in Nigeria where you tell your gf once in a while to "Free me now"

When Nevibot talks of lonely and boredom he means every word of it. It's part of the german life to be lonely and bored I think. I no dey pursue woman...I am observing the trends. My uni no go even allow you to pursue woman. Imagine, you write exam after 2 weeks the course finished. That is serious business...
TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by Ndyoo(m): 9:07pm On Jan 03, 2015
Lol @ Nevibot...The young generation of Germans are something else. If you plan to learn german from them then you're on your own. They speak terrible german. It's like a slang. And as for the girls wey dey smile at you...No mistakenly go chyke one. The first OT wey dem give me here be say smiling at you doesn't necessarily mean she's interested in you. Someone learnt it the hard way and taught me the easier way.

Is the master in Physics admission very competitive?
I can't really say because I think it's new but I am sure it's challenging as well...For you that studied your bachelor's here...you will be able to get in easily. I can only say much of those programmes we have Nigerians doing it like the communication and finance. Those are quite competitive especially when you have lots of Asians applying...

Why I gave out the link is not to spoon feed anyone but I felt someone might be interested and also it will give them ample time to start arranging their documents.

Thanks a lot bro.......uv just raised my hope, will I be tested on the knowledge of my first degree ? Or how is the test like?
It will be related to your degree...and they will even recommend textbooks for you. And you can also ask them for a past question...but it's not easy. It's doable...cos the standards is way higher than you can imagine of any Nigerian University.

All necessary documents, together with the duly signed printout of your online application, must be sent to the University of Münster before the end of the relevant application period. The following documents are required:

◾Foreign school-leaving certificate
◾Bachelor’s certificate
◾CV containing no gaps
◾Evidence of adequate knowledge of German

Good day my ogas,
i want to know what could serve as a foreign school-leaving certificate for a nigerian as listed among the requirements for master program applicants

Regards
It means your Waec and most times your first school leaving certificate also...I know you don't understand German, so why bother to apply even after seeing the fourth option listed. adequate knowledge of German I think is at least B2. you don't wanna be in a classroom where you don't understand go or come.

I'm still in serious prayers my brothers and sisters. The hour ticks fast, the day is approaching and God is my only hope....
But am not giving up the fight. Please I will need someone who knows the step by step process of getting the sponsorship letter to put me through. My sponsor still insist that the thing takes months to get just like the last one he got. In case, you didn't follow my previous posts, My sponsorship letter was rejected by the embassy because of an error in the period of stay written and convincing my sponsor that the process doesn't take long to get another one is becoming so hard even for a good negotiator like me. I need help fast....
Hello Eke, I understand your plight currently and I wish I could help. So I went to ask some of the africans living in my dorm to clearify the stuffs as I didn't actually used a sponsorship letter. It doesn't take months to get. First, you have to know that your sponsor must be living legally in Germany and must earn up to a certain amount of money e.g 1500 Euros for some cities but the thing with most sponsors is that their stay is not legal or they don't earn enough to qualify as sponsors. I think the longest time it will take to get this letter is a week or thereabout. I will also advice you to let your sponsor write a letter to the consulate stating that he will be giving you money. If he really wants to help let him go the extra mile of also providing his pay slip to you, all this will be very convincing when you reapply. From the Information I gathered, your sponsor should go to the foreign office in his city, they will give him a form to fill and it should contain his personal information including how much he earns in some sort of a payslip. All other information he needs concerning you, he will contact you as there's a chance for him to go home with this form. I am trying to call terry01, he used a sponsor and he was successful but he's not picking his calls and I don't understand the blah blah blah they speak at the end of the call. I don't think he's active here much. I might see him in school tomorrow hopefully and I will ask him more about it but I mentioned him here, so I hope he see it and also reply you. Don't give up...Good things don't come easy. I know within me that Germany needs people like you and I hope a miracle happens for you to pull through... Alles gute!

BREAKING NEWS
My people, I just got a call this morning from my friend in Germany that now if you want to invite someone from any West African country Nigeria inclusive, you have to pay money. 1700€ for 1 month visa, 2000€ for two months visa and so forth...ie with letter of invitation.
He said its all because of the Ebola outbreak. if any one gets visa now I think the person is lucky. He even asked if any one has gotten the study visa recently. I told him that I don't know.
May the good Lord not allow this to hinder us from going to Germany o.
Unverified Claims...Your friend is trying to extort you. What happens to the money if the Visa is not issued?

Clandestine60: Your response is spot on save for the last 2 sentences. He should desist from such act and not complicate things for other genuine applicants.
Bro, In as much as I sound pessimistic, I spiced it up with Optimism because I can't decide his destiny for him. Our lives are fated. Some go through the back door while some come through the window and at the end, they get to their destination. No matter what I say, he will always want to stay back in Germany after the conference.

@ Rayhut, the situation can even get worse if your stay in Germany is not legal. You cannot enrol in a university with your Visa because its not a student Visa. Student Visa is a Residence Visa. Your best bet is to see how things will happen when you arrive in Germany

Rayhut: Please how can I convert my Three months Shengen German visa to stay in Germany without deportation. The visa type that I have is a conference visa type c.I applied for a conference in Berlin, they invited me and I just say let me go and sacrifice 13500 for visa surprise they gave me visa after two weeks of visa interview.
You're the reason why a great majority of Nigerians that wants to go to Germany, with true and pure intents for a conference or a visit are being rejected because your likes are given Visas to go for a conference or a Visit and they never want to go back again. Infact your type are why Visas are hard to get... Of course your chances are bleak. 1 - Chop Aduro and the aduro go later Chop You. 2 - Go to Club, get a cougar, marry her and let your life be fated by her decisions. Of course you will do that within the 2 Weeks you have in some far away denmark if they still allow that. Alles gute...

emeka55: Before your cousin applied for the sponsorship letter, he would be asked about your welfare and where u would be staying. This information is also included on the sponsorship letter.
U should have told the VO that u have applied for accommodation with your school's studetenwerk and u are waiting to hear from them. Period!
U must have said too many contradicting things that made it questionable.
It does not matter what city your school is and where your sponsor lives. U don't have to live with him during holidays. He can send u whatever help u need no matter where u are.

Just reply the VO and tell her u have applied for a student hostel and u have contacted some landlords too. Don't write anything about going to your cousin's house. Go straight to school.
Even if u will stay in a hotel when u first arrive, the hotel should be in your school area.

Don't show so much ties to your cousin especially when he has his permanent residence.
Prove that u want to study and return home and your cousin is only sponsoring your stay during your studies.
You can also include that your cousin is giving u a stipulated amount every month for your welfare and rent.

They know some people who have families in Germany that can provide them sponsorship letter, use school as a way of entering Germany and then their families will handle the rest for them till Jesus comes. Be wise

correctguy0900: Thanks everyone for your generous contributions, Please, i need a way out on my current problem with the Deutsche bank. My block account opening documents was sent to the bank by the German embassy since late July this year. By mid August, the bank mailed me that there was error with the figure i entered. I followed their instructions on the supplementary form attached to the email and sent it to the address provided which was received by Flemming in Frankfurt. Over two weeks now, i am yet to receive information from them. i have also sent them countless emails through the non customer form on the home page but no reply. The embassy interviewed me yesterday Thursday, the consular said there was nothing she could do as regard the Bank. I received a mail from the embassy today Friday with an instruction to fund my account in order to continue with the visa application process.

Please, i would appreciate any suggestion as i am currently confused on how else to reach the bank. Thanks y'all
I hope all correspondent you recieved through the deutschbank ends with @db.com...I mean every staff working their has their mail ending with that.

I will advise you mail them directly... Use db.student@db.com
Lay your complaints clearly to them.
