This is good news. It simply means we Nigerians we import brand new clothes.
Lol, on the other hand it means Nigerians have had their purchasing power so destroyed they cannot even afford used cloths.
It's just like cars, many years ago Nigerians onely bought brand new cars, as they got poorer, the okumbo or Belgium fad stated. Next they could not afford toks so went into slightly accidented vehicles. Next came heavily accidented, soon they could not afford that and went for those from junk yards, scrapped. Those with even twisted chassis, which are then brought here and repaired. That is why 90% of toks cars you see are heavily repaired vehicles. Now as Tinubu has done his own, it has gotten so bad Nigerians cannot even afford the condemned, accidented cars, but are now buying Nigerian used cars. Omo that is the situation with secondhand cloths, Nigerians are so poor now they cannot afford okirika. Bend down select jeans is now 15k, 20k from 2-3k. Lol

If another Airline is doing what Air Peace is doing, most of the supporters of Airpeace would criticise them.

The plane is over 20 years old, very old School plane

Singapore Airlines used the plane, abandoned it and bought a newer plane, then our own Air Peace took it over and started using.

The fabric are outdated, the screen are bad because Air Peace refused to upgrade the Aircraft.

What they should simply do is take that Aircraft back to Boeing for remodeling, put newer screen that supports USB.

If they want to compete, they need to do better

You have no idea.
What is the average age of B777 aircrafts used by eg British airways(20 years+) , or that used by American Airlines(21years+) ?
Don't be supprised one of those Airlines you use as a bench mark will purchase that same airpeace 777 and user to fly you of which you will hip praises.
Are you even aware trumps B757 was used by 2 Airlines, a company then used it 3rd hand as a corporate jet before Trump bought it as a 4th owner? Are you aware the jet is 34years old?
Oga aircrafts is not by age but scheduled maintaince. What kicks them off the market is cost of operations. Eg airbus a340 is a good aircraft also considered very safe for long operations over vast bodies of water due to its 4 engine layout ie multiple engine redundancies, but the aircraft was abandoned by airlines as 2 engine jets had reliable engines and hence less fuel burn. Some a380 were retired as young as 8 year olds.
B777 one the other hand is considered as the Toyota camry of aviation, a reliable 2 engine aircraft built for long distance with high passanger load and good fuel burn. Even the successor 787 carries fewer passanger and has had several design and build quality issues.
The 777 is a good aircraft and 21 years is not considered old.

Don't mind that ass. Go on YouTube and watch recent flights on their B777 to UK.
The complain is that the inflight entertainment does not work. Of course it should be fixed, maybe they are waiting for the next scheduled maintainance on the aircraft to to do.
Anyway they are other alternatives, Qatar, Emirates, virgin Atlantic, British Airways etc, the op has options, better still charter a business jet that is like a palace, abi their money too cost?

What is the lie in what the guy said? How many Nigerians can afford eg milk, and I mean proper full cream milk not the skimmed one added with soya and other concoctions. 350grams of Dano full cream milk powder is N4700, something you use 4 times with cereals and it is finished. Truth of the matter is that our purchasing power has been destroyed by the current charlatans in power. How much is cerelac+baby milk and how many nursing mothers in naija can afford to give their babies.

Na wah, but which states in the north will demands for compensation be directed to when fulani herdsmen and bandits strike in states down south?
This is a purely criminal matter and should be investigated by police followed by prosecution. Which one is it that Edo has to compensate, was it the state that killed them? Even if so why not ask the iromi community to do the compensating?
Question is who was the strike team aka Hunters going to hunt? Which bush down south? Hunting is exclusive for indigenes of the area. Just as you cannot see an igbo carry gun travel all the way and enter bush in oyo, so also you can never find agbekoya leave oyo for a bush in enugu to go hunting. So which bush were the fulani hunters headed to hunt? This hunter story is for halfwit.

First of all, the man was NOT her boyfriend.
He was her SUGAR DADDY.

And MARRIED too!

NO man will rent such a beautiful apartment for his GF. He'd rather have her MOVE in with him.

Renting an apartment for a woman is a Sugar Daddy move.

The girl is a PROSTITUTE.

And the Sugar Daddy just found out that he's NOT her only client. Yet he's paying the MOST bill.

That's why the relationship turned SOUR.

A man cannot put you in a FULLY-FURNISHED apartment for a Sugar Baby arrangement just for you to be DISTRIBUTING his sugar to other men for ordinary data subscriptions.

PACK!
Na so..
Men have been renting apartments for smallie outside since 18bc, all in the hope of having exclusive access to their congos when they wish. Most times they then find out the ladies are sharing the Congo to small boys, even bringing them to the apartment oga rented. The usual thing is to kick her out, as eye for don clear.

Gwo gwo gwo ngwo

What were they doing with guns and weapons?
Killing antelopes, lions?
Or when did it become legal to bear arms? Infact can we all be allowed to have guns? Or are some people above the law?
Exactly my thought too.
Asides the guns which we know is for killing, since they say the people were hunters, what kind of animals were they comming down south to hunt, animal animals or human animals? Which bush were they heading to to hunt considering hunters from the locality are already occupying local bushes? We know here in naija local hunters are usually domicilled in the community, no hunter from elsewhere can hunt. Eg can a group of hunters from a village in anambra come to some remote bush eg in Osun state to start hunting? Or agbekoyas head to sambisa forest with guns claiming there are going to hunt? Omo, this stories of them being hunters seems to be a sugarcoat.
Yes we see guns, cutlases and other dangerous stuff. But more sinister is the "equipment" in the below picture. Omo that thing is for hacking bones! In my personal opinion, those people seem to be a fulani hit squad or kidnapper heading to a bush/forest zone of operation.
Any extra judicial killing is condemned in all entirety though, they should have been handed to security agencies.

The NDLEA weren't professional in their approach. Ure on plain clothes and an ID barely legible u should identify urself self properly b4 making any demands to anyone.
Why will customs search bag in plain sight of ndlea officer, free the guy, then five steps later the ndlea official who has been watching all along gets up from his casual chair to stop the same passanger to start asking crappy, silly questions? Aside commonsense, that ndlea man knows no Nigerian will bring drugs from US to Nigeria.

I don't know much about NDLEA code of conduct regarding their uniform use but I assume they are allowed to do that. The most important thing though is to always look intently at their on-duty card they put on that Identifies them. In fact, when interacting with them as they get to establish the identity of who they are dealing with ask it of them as well. They tend to not introduce themselves and communicate more awareness, my observation.

There are plan officers for different reasons, one of the most common being by virtue of their duty..e.g for Immigration, monitoring. You wouldn't know about them until you look at their card. They are responsible for interception of possible overstay cases, so I would assume it may apply to NDLEA too.
Over stay cases on arrival? huh
What concerns anyone in naija airport if you overstayed on a visa issued to you by a foreign country?

The military guy actually started with aggression. The Custome Officer was fair enough, when was your last time here. Just answer the damn question. Immediately you guys enter this country. You just wanna attack everyone. He's not gonna seize your passport let him check whatever he wants. You don't know maybe he has an intel info he's working with. If you can wait 7hours in a plane. An extra 5minutes in an airport shouldn't be a problem.
Oga calm down, that is guy must have faced issues passing through there before and so was prepared, choosing to be very defensive.
2 years ago I flew in, that was the period when you had to fill some covid pretravel stuff online at some naija website, Infact at Heathrow I quickly had to do it before been allowed to checkin. On arrival in naija two naija Edo boys the joined the flight at Qatar landed with us. At the immigration point one officer collected their passports and started trying to intimidate them obviously with the aim of extortion. The simple thing would have been to just inform them to go on their phones, log into the website and fill their info and get their approval code seeing the boys were ignorant of the process. This got the young men agitated. Infact the official told them to follow him, omo the boys said they were not going and that they wount be intimidated, one naira they will not pay to anyone, that they are in their country, no one intimidated them abroad and it is not in naija they will bear it. No be small wahala, when one officer saw people had started recording with phones that was how he intervened to calm the boys and told them to enter the website and get the approval code for free. Apparently that official had sharply billed them $100 each.

When my grandpa died In 2012 at 98,the man no still show up despite reaching out to him. Shishi he no send. I heard from history that his papa used his life savings to send him to sch in those days because he's a male and that's why my mother didn't go beyond secondary sch.

Few years ago when I had issues with an Indian owned company and I petitioned a state commissioner of police, it was assigned to a department to handle it. Police officers went to the company along with a letter of invitation. The Indian manager of the place said he could not come along, that a rescheduling should be done. The police officer asked the Indian if he was refusing to accompany then to honor the CPs invitation? Me sef de there and was waiting for action from the police. Anyway police officer called his oga who said they should reschedule the invite. It was later the police commanding officer explained that dealing with expatriates of certain countries Nigeria does heavy business with, they have to be careful as it way cause diplomatic fall-outs. As at then, even till now India and possibly China are the largest buyers of Nigerian crude. China is the bigger giver of cheap loans to naija not to talk of all the infrastructure they are financing and building here. Don't forget naija is trying to join BRICS, we have to be in good terms with the chinese as an alternative if the West starts to misbehave.
In surmarry this does not mean the China man wount be brought to justice if found wanting.
