Leadership of Nigeria will not return to the North in 2023. People who don't know this know very little about Nigerian politics. The elites understand balance of power, and are well aware of the implications of returning power to the North for another 8 years. It would completely destabilise the country one way or another. Nnamdi Kanu alone has completely destroyed the East, it would be foolish to cause the South-South and South West to join in being agitated. Balance of power is a principle the elites never joke with by reason of their stake in the country. If Peter Obi doesn't win, Tinubu will win. Power will shift to the South in 2023. Expecting different outcome is naive.

This will not make news since it's not the Easterners that were kidnapped. Northern lives doesn't matter. May more will be kidnapped and more killed but it will still not make news. Atiku for president is all that matters for them.

IPOB were engaged in peaceful protests, and they were being targeted and mown down in cold blood by Buharis' Fulani army goons! Ok, they decided to go off the streets and engage in civil disobedience though sit-at-home in order to honour our fallen brethren murdered during the uncivil war! This got the Fulani gov't of Nigeria furious because there didn't seem to be much they could do about that, so they (ie, the evil forces in and around Aso Rock) then resolved to engage in false-flag operations....activating their sleeper-cells domicilled in the south-east to start murdering people in the name of IPOB to try and bring the peaceful reputation of the secessionist org' into disrepute! They went further to create 'factions', AFTER kidnapping Mazi Kanu from Kenya, and this was done in order to give the impression IPOB is 'factionalised'!

My only grouse with IPOB was when they called for another sit-at-home some months ago (the last time they did this) even after realising the civil-disobedience strategy had been hijacked by the evil hegemonic north and their agents in Aso Rock! They've since learnt from their mistake and taken a step back!

The ekpa twerp is a creation of the Fulani gov't of Nigeria (as if you didn't know that already!), hence you expecting IPOB to do more than they've already done by denouncing ekpa and saying he has nothing to do with the organisation....you expecting IPOB to do more than this is you just being unreasonable and silly!
