BusinessWhere To Buy Sms Units by Negro1(op): 4:47pm On May 06, 2013
I'll like to know if its the network providers that sell the sms units, or if they have agents. The reason I'm asking is that I'm thinking of going into this venture but I want to get it from the source because I believe it will be cheaper and it will also be the 'original' one. Heard a lot of stories bout fake sms units.
Thanks. Awaiting your responses.

PoliticsEx-militants May Return To Creek Over Amnesty List. by Negro1(op): 12:11am On Nov 28, 2012
Some aggrieved ex-militants on Sunday faulted the second phase amnesty list of the Federal Government, alleging that it contained fictitious names.
The ex-militant, under the aegis of Second Phase Amnesty, said in Yenagoa that military officers attached to the Joint Task Force codenamded Operation Pulo Shield connived with persons to “smuggle” names into the list of the beneficiaries.
Leader of the group Commander Darikoro Suokoro, explained that the Federal Government had approved the inclusion of 1,666 ex-militants in the second phase amnesty list.
He said members of the group were trained at the amnesty camp in Obubra, Cross River State, but that some of them stopped receiving their allowances three months after the training.
He said that they would not block roads to protest the development but had concluded plans to return to the creeks.

Operatives of the EFCC have intensified moves to arrest the C.E.O of Bi-Courtney, Mr. Wale Babalakin.
The commission had summoned Babalakin to appear before it on Thursday and had since put him under surveillance.
It was gathered that the operatives of EFCC were at the residence of Babalakin on Thursday.
A source at the EFCC said that the commission had a plan to ensure outright arrest of Babalakin, but for an understanding they had with him that he would present himself to them.
As at Friday, the EFCC intensified surveillance around him to ensure that he was arrested on sight.
The source also said that the move to arrest Babalakin if he did not present himself to the commission was normal since EFCC had already charged him to court.

PoliticsWhy I Can Contest 2015 Election –jonathan by Negro1(op): 9:47pm On Nov 25, 2012
President Goodluck Jonathan has told an Abuja Federal High Court that he is eligible to contest the presidential election in 2015, even if it would mean staying in office for a total of eight years from the date he was inaugurated as President on May 6, 2010, following the death of President Umaru Yar’Adua.
The president made the statement through his lawyer Mr. Ade Okeaya-Inneh, SAN, in response to a suit in which a Port Harcourt based lawyer, Mr. Henry Amadi, asked the court to declare that Jonathan no longer qualified to run for office in 2015.
Amadi had argued that in doing so, Jonathan would be spending more than the constitutionally stipulated maximum period of eight years in office.
The plaintiff said he was a card-carrying member of the Peoples Democratic Party. The suit is similar to another one filed by another self-declared member of the PDP, Chief Cyriacus Njoku, before an Abuja High Court.

PoliticsUnpaid Subsidy: Diezani, Nnpc Report Okonjo-iweala To Jonathan by Negro1(op): 9:38pm On Nov 25, 2012
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has alerted President Goodluck Jonathan to a looming acute fuel shortage if the Federal Government fails to pay N1.3trn subsidy owed to it (NNPC).
The NNPC top management, led by the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, and the corporation’s Group Managing Director, Mr. Andrew Yakubu, reportedly made this known to Jonathan at a recent meeting.
The team told the President that the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, had failed to pay the debt.
At the meeting, the corporation was said to have hinged its capacity to continue the importation of fuel on the payment of the debt which had accumulated over the months.
The NNPC, told the President that fuel might disappear from filling stations across the country if government failed to pay the debt. This is in addition to the fear that the N971bn subsidy provision in the 2013 budget is seen as grossly inadequate.

Politics16-Year-Old-Girl Sues Colonel Over Alleged molestation by Negro1(op):
A serving Lieutenant Colonel with the Nigerian Army, W.L. Nzidee, has been dragged to a Magistrate Court I over alleged sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl (name withheld) in Kaduna.

The accused is in charge of the MTO at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

In an application for issuance of a direct criminal complaint summons filed at the Magistrate Court in the Kaduna Magisterial District in Barnawa, Kaduna South with case number KMD/19DC/2012 by the complainant, she accused the Colonel of committing an offence that constituted “criminal intimidation, rape, acts of gross indecency, abductions and threat to life” contrary to section 397,282,285,272 and 327 of the penal code

According to the complainant, on October 22, 2012, the accused person called her with the pretext to send her on an errand and unfortunately for her the lieutenant colonel had an ulterior motive for inviting her into his house.

She said the accused then lured her into the house and forced himself on her with a threat to kill her if she makes any noise and all effort by her to resist proved abortive because the accused is stronger than her.

She stated further that the accused forcefully had canal knowledge with her without her consent and dis-virgin her leaving her physically and mentally traumatized.

The victim said, she stayed indoor for about 48 hours and could not disclose to her guardian, until when the pains and injuries in her virginal became severe and later rushed to the NDA Medical Centre where the doctor on duty, Dr Okochi, insisted on seeing the officer who committed the assault after which she was admitted for one week.
