ENOCHEUNICE: There were no online training. This is a new initiative. The online training replaced the business plan competition training we went for. Only that the selection of winners wasn't based on assessments after the training but based on the business plans submitted online after the training. Winners went to master classes and boot camps after they were selected. |

Godiswise: Youwin 2 had 6000 ladies shortlisted for Business Plan Competition Training shortlisted and 1200 got funded. Youwin 3 had 6000 people shortlisted for Business Plan Competition Training shortlisted and 1500 got funded. 2250 people were shortlisted for the final (third) stage which was the panel interview. I was part of it but I was among the 750 unlucky ones. Now at no stage were people called winners until the last stage where the 1500 successful applicants were shortlisted. So for us to be shortlisted as national merit, regional merit and state merit winners, I think we've all won. Your funding will depend on your business plan. The pictures below were the business plan competition training in Gombe and panel interview in Abuja. 1 Like

From what I read here, it's like the whole 4990 of us have won be that o! I don't think anyone will be dropped again. We will all be required to submit business plans after the in-class training 'for areas where their businesses require improvement.' 1 Like |

ABBEYsammy01: I can help. Get in touch. But no matter what make sure you get access to the training and go through to learn. That's the most important thing. But how possible is that you have just 5 days left. Training started on the 5th, isn't it? And we all had one week added to us. |

Dear "Me," , Let us first start by congratulating you for emerging as one of our stage one beneficiaries on the YouWiN! Connect Capacity Building Platform. As you know YouWiN! Connect is a multimedia-based programme of Federal Ministry of Finance. It aims to support young entrepreneurs as they PLAN, START and GROW their businesses while promoting entrepreneurship as a viable career option for young Nigerians to create jobs and wealth. A key component of the program is to offer Online capacity building training. This online extension of the YouWiN! Connect Enterprise Education is targeted at strengthening the entrepreneurial capacity of each participant through exposure to relevant SME development materials and tools such as technical, legal and financial skills in business management. As a successful beneficiary from the first stage, you will be required to attend the online training which will commence soon. Further details about the online training including the date will be communicated via Email and SMS. Lastly, it has come to the attention of the YouWiN! Connect PIU that some individuals posing as agents and successful applicants of the program are requesting money from unsuspecting members of the public under the guise of providing various support services. The YouWiN! Connect program has not appointed any applicant or agent to act on its behalf in the delivery of online training or other program components. Anyone posing as an applicant whether successful or not with the purpose of defrauding innocent persons by offering additional training or other services is acting independently and does not represent YouWiN! Connect. YouWiN! Connect does not request for any form of payment or gratification in exchange for any aspect of the program. Thank you. |
