i dont feel any remorse when soldiers are killed by boko haram..Nigeria soldiers and boko haram are almost on the same level because they both kill theirselves and harmless civilians just like the former 3sc footballer that was killed by soldiers in bayelsa..the only difference is that boko haram do kidnap while the Nigeria army dont.

You'll feel remorse the day it affects you directly. You know from your heart that they're not all the same.

Hmmm... May His soul rest in peace. Take heart bro.
I did my youth service in NMS about 11 years ago. And I related very closely with officers, soldiers & boys. We had the opportunity of visiting the NA Museum & I discovered that these men & women have and are still making huge sacrifices for our dear country. They risk their lives & pay the price that has kept this country protected from evil people for decades. Young men & women who leave the comfort of their homes & their families to protect the borders of our land... cry cry cry
Dear Nigerians, I know we can do more for our armed forces. Let us remember them in our prayers daily. And also in our giving. Let NGOs spring up to encourage their loved ones.
More ideas pls...

Yeah we need to always pray for them.

Doesn't the world need to hear about the sacrifice these young men are making to this country?

Mods this story needs to be taken to the promised land!

Thank you.

My Lord, I'm heartbroken! I didn't know Sudak had left us. The Sudak I remember was truly a kindhearted, warm and jovial person. Always a joy to be around. Seems like yesterday we were all boy-soldiers in NMS, now I look at that last picture and realize that both Dusty(Chinedu) and Sudak have been lost to combat. I'm forced to fight back tears, as a I reflect on the essence of life. RIP brother, you'll be dearly missed.

Take heart bro.

It's no longer news that on Sunday 25th September 2016, boko haram ambushed and killed some soldiers in Borno state.
The news is that the officer among them was my childhood friend.
He hailed from Adamawa state.

Major David Sudakumtemmi Erasmus was having a promising military carrier before his life was wasted by Boko haram. In fact he was the commanding officer during the 2014 armed forces remembrance day.

My last conversation with him was on whatsapp, I share it below. I'm reluctant to share the bombed vehicle here. Those with strong minds can go check it at their discretion.

No am not among the current awardees pls,
I asked when you applied and when you got the email inviting you for the induction please.

fatiaforreal:
I'm not sure the induction programme is for current grantees. Recall, a mail was issued requesting grantees to notify GEM of their involvement in any other GEM programme. No grantee is allowed to partake in the current selection programme. It's better to enquire properly because there's a penalty.

We're having this little confusion because the current applicants refused to heed the advice to start a new thread. So this thread is meddled up with discussion from current grantees and those applying now.

Pls I would like to know actually how the induction workshop is conducting, because I am invited to attend the induction in bauchi.

Read through previous posts as some people shared their experiences on this thread.

Pls when did you apply and when did you receive the invitation for induction?

Thanks for that, but do you know that the Programme is yet to round up? Almost half of YouWIN3 awardees are still waiting for their 3rd tranche including myself, if we call they'll tell us they'll pay us soon and alert is yet to come till today.

The way payments were disbursed, you wouldn't blame anyone actually for failing in his business! This is pathetic!

Gentlemen/Ladies Entrepreneur.
How are your businesses, and how are you coping with inflation? Just try to push things to a point you can commence business. I mean, if your plan was to start from two rooms, you may have to start with one, otherwise you may end up not being able to start at all with two rooms near ready but not ready. Don't forget to have your website in place with what you have now in terms of information, products and services intended.
One of us here built mine and I'm proud to recommend him to you all. His name is Neksummi. Good luck everyone.

It gladdened my heart when you called me and said you wanted me to do your website. It was nice that you kept your promise of patronizing me when you received your payment.

I want to encourage us to patronize one another and make referrals in cases where we don't personally need the products or services offered. It's also good that house members let us know what they're into.

Wish you all the best.
