Justdulla: . Its because of people that think sentimentally like you that the south south and south east would never move forward.. You all are just a greedy lot. People are been appointed based on pedigree and you all are mentioning tribe.. Imagine at this modern age instead of we youths to move our country forward, we are dragging it backward like our fore fathers did..What concerns me if Pat Utomi is from the Moon? His getting the appointment cos he earned it, if there was any one as educated as him in the other tribes, they would ave been considered but here is the President Getting the best man for the job and you all here are spilling Poo.....The Mentality You guys must change is that its not political appointment that would make you relevant in Nigerian politics, afterall there are people that have improved their communities without holding political office or appointnment...Even If It Was A Goat From Ekiti That Is as Educated As Prof Pat Utomi, I would Support His Appointment... F*ck Region Or Tribe Let's Move This country Forward Stop pretending to be a saint, because the poster said the obvious truth, there is a reason why people support their own and it happens everywhere in the world. Even Obama will never have reached the white house if the blacks and the Latinos weren't sentimental. You only accuse people of being sentimental when you are not in any way affected. |

free2ryhme: The first time I read 5,000 military officers were dismissed for alleged treasonable offences the first question I asked myself was were the accused soldiers adequately equipped and sufficiently paid My answer came when the alleged N5.5B arms deals ended in private pockets under GEJ administration. ThankGod, for PMB's clemency and deep sense of reasoning, the so called "illiterate president" has now given, 5,000 condemned soldiers the opportunity to live again, this is good news for their respective families at least they can all rejoice over this clemency, goodnews for the renewed fight against Boko boys and a big boost to the nation as a whole. Thank you General Buratai, Thank you the panel of judges in this previously unfortunate case and Thanks to Baba for a decision that gladdens the heart of 170million Nigerians, may your reign and your days be long Insha allah, in Jesus name...Ameeen!!! Amen!!!! The question you failed to ask now is if Buhari has bought a single title for the army since he became president. Their brave colleagues stood their ground and routed Boko haram with the same "lack of equipment" The same equipment the cowards soldiers claim is obsolete what they will still be using to fight , so how was their dismissal wrong or are you one of the dismissed ? |

texazzpete: Actually, the cost of transportation via pipeline is explicitly mentioned in the article. Nobody's fault If you can't read properly.
There is no point in babbling about common sense yet coming out to defend a contract that was paying $15 to transport a barrel of crude even when oil price has dropped to as low as $50 per barrel.
Your stance doesn't surprise me...it is well known that Nigeria has many enemies. You're one of them You are the one who can't comprehend, the article states how much it costs to transport one barrel via pipeline but was silent on the cost of one barrel via shipping instead they stated the total costs of the shipping contract to make it look like fraud. Why didn't the writer state the total cost of pipeline transport and also the cost of one barrel via shipping ? Logic demands that we compare barrel to barrel not barrel to contract cost. I know you don't care about the veracity of the article all you need is a scapegoat to put blames on. |

If the economy was crawling under him even with unprecedented high oil prices, just imagine what would happen to the economy with record low oil prices. The economy was simply hemorrhaging on all sides under the watch of our "Hero" and his Musketeers.
For those who keep defending these criminals, you all should be grateful that some Patriotic Nigerians had the vision and courage to force "Mai Gaskiya" on you lot - since most of you behave like kids and don't even know what is best for you. People who use their brain do not judge based on what one party did they listen to both!, but because you have been programmed to believe anything you read you ignored the application of common sense. The article wrote about how much the contract costs without mentioning the cost and failures of transporting through the pipeline, that is to tell you they have something to hide, but zombies like you don't care , all you do is check the names of the alleged offenders and boom you go. Ebukaobi: Mr OcheJoseph
You have to do better than this
You keep writing daft epistles and in your own head, you term them as analyses.
It is very sad that this is the best that the PDP is offering Nigerians as opposition to the current government.
Am I happy with APC so far, no? But I prefer it to the PDP and the way they wasted the country's resources for 16 years. I am ready to wait to see how APC performs and whether you like it or not, that is the general feeling among Nigerians
Ochejoseph, I saw your thread on the FP notifying us of the newly appointed PDP Youth congress. You are the only one there without any educational qualification. You claim to have a certificate in Pharmacy, what exactly does that mean?
I will suggest that you invite more knowledgeable and educated people from PDP to handle the online propaganda.
You cannot do it because you are JUST not good enough
Shalom
God bless all Nigerians Only fools will fall for the gibberish you wrote. Who are you to tell him if he does a good job or not. It is like criminals telling the police how to do their job. It doesn't matter if the criminal likes the police methods as long as he/she gets punished. Rather than cry over someones post simply ignore it or reply sensibly to the issue raised. Shalom |

abbey621: Now now calm down folks! Before everyone jumps on the entrepreneurial train please keep in mind that over 60% of all start ups fail, the remaining 40% don't start making profit till after the second or third year. With this in mind, let's remember that the most crucial part of making it on your own is to have access to funds. Questions like how much can I put into the business? How do I get sponsors or loan? How do I market the product or service? It's better to plan very well than to start something and fold up halfway through the process! Quitting a job when you have no savings would not only be depressing but could have life-long consequences. Sorry to bust your bubble, but over 90% of job applicants also fail to get the job. you can't let the fear of failure dissuade you from following your dreams. What is the assurance that the OP will get a satisfactory job in even a years time ? I am not against seeking employment but those who decides to found a startup should be encouraged not discouraged. |

In addition, there was evidence that we had paid the initial debt owed several times over and yet we were told to pay 12 billion dollars to be able to get a reprieve of God knows what, at a time when poverty in the country was deepening." --Boyo.
The above was what he said, the right question you should be asking is: what evidence?
The rest assumptions and comments you made (while you are entitled to your opinions), are just what they are . . .
Same way I can relate to Soludo's take on NOI's pedigree as VP admin at the world bank, does not make her qualified for the job.
BTW, Mr. Boyo mentioned a whole lof indisputable points; maybe if you read again with an open mind, you might agree with quite a good number of them. You and boyo are just trying to deceive Nigerians. If you borrowed 1000 naira from a bank ,have you settled your debts when you pay back the 1000 nairaland ? Hell no, in fact you can pay up to 20,000 and still be owing depending on the terms of your loan. The pseudo-economist boyo should have simply tell us the terms of the loan have been met as at that time instead he is relying on ignorance of Nigerians to cast blame on his perceived enemies. I think Boyo is very much needed in Greece which has also serviced their debts several times over so that he can help them challenge the Eurozone banks. Economist my foot. |
