I am not 'pro' or 'anti' Jonathan, PDP or APC,all I want is good governance that would attach value to the commoners.Thats my take.
atlwireles: "a rising tide lifts all boats" We should keep all hands on deck to see a continuation.

atlwireles: Many investors still believe that the risk of being in Nigeria by far outweighs the costs of being there,” Markus of Barclays Plc’s Absa Capital unit said. “It has price stability, currency stability, the economy is still on a good run, the fiscal deficit is insignificant and the current account is in surplus.”
This is a huge plus for Jonathan's government but the masses are still suffering.

The types of Ebola is funny:
Ebola-Zaire, Ebola-Sudan and Ebola-Ivory Coast all affect humans, while Ebola-Reston has so far only affected monkeys and chimpanzees.

Maybe we will soon have Ebola-Liberia,Ebola-Sierra Leone etc if they are not similar with the above.

Politics › Re: Buhari’s Wife Asks President Jonathan To Resign Immediately by nerodenero: 1:00pm On Aug 01, 2014
Well said and devoid of sentiments.
whatlyf: In sane climes, President Jonathan Goodluck should have long resigned, but in Africa that won't happen. We don't have such precedent. Also considering our present sociopolitical situation, forcing or pressuring the President to resign or even impeachment will do more harm than good. Rather than pressurizing the President to resign, opposition and well meaning Nigerians should queue behind him in this fight against insurgency. We should continue to provide him with suggestions and ideas that we think will help. This doesn't mean no one should not criticize him when he errs.

We have no choice but to support him in this fight against insurgency. Let his fate as President be decided at the polls next February.

They say what a Man can do,a woman can do better and this has proved positive so far.The ladies have been awesome and with their performance so far,it looks certain that we can beat the performance of the last Commonwealth.

Again,I think the men are just there to give encouragement to the ladies and nothing more but I think they should do more. The game ends on the 3rd August, 2014 and the men have until Sunday to redeem their image.

We need the male athletes to show up.

Sports › Re: Blessing Okagbare Wins 200m Gold by nerodenero: 10:37pm On Jul 31, 2014
You are not well informed.Cameroun is part of Commonwealth.
franciskaine: Cameroun in Commonwealth games? Very funny. Commonwealth is meant for only English speaking countries colonised by Britain.
When Cameroon joined the Commonwealth in November 1995, it became the first Commonwealth national also to belong to the Francophonie. A bilingual product of three‐way colonial competition in the last century, the country is composed of the major part of the territories held by Germany, France and Britain. German rule ended in 1916 and the country became an Anglo‐French condominium under League of Nations auspices, and later trusteeship territories under the responsibility of the United Nations. In 1961 the northern section of British Cameroons became an integral part of Nigeria, while the remainder was reunified with the former French Cameroon to become an independent nation. About 30 per cent of the population is English‐speaking, while almost 70 per cent speaks French. During the tenure of the country's first president, Amadou Abidjo, the country was lukewarm to the idea of joining either the Commonwealth or the Francophonie. The arrival of a new president, Paul Biya, in 1982, ushered in an era of democratic reforms aimed at greater decentralization, coinciding with pressure from the Anglophone minority for Commonwealth membership. An application for observer status was made in 1989. Since its successful application for full membership Cameroon has already become involved in a range of Commonwealth activities, and stands to benefit from Commonwealth assistance in overcoming some of its social and economic problems

Politics › Re: Bomb Survivor, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Advises Jonathan On Nigeria by nerodenero: 1:26pm On Jul 31, 2014
My confusion:
1.The Sheikh said Jonathan knows the desperate Christians throwing bombs and yet didnt say If Jonathan knows the desperate Muslims.
2.Shouldnt the authority be looking at the other Leader of Izala whom the Sheikh claimed cant not be trusted?

It is glaring from this reports and more that our leaders know Boko Haram very well and their sponsors but would rather fold arms and watch as defenseless masses die in their thousands.

it is indeed pathetic.
