Gandollar: It's like you are just knowing him. He's an unfortunate educated almajiri. He reels out figures from his anus. Even when Yorubas insult him, he replies with an insult to Igbos! Hahaha..
Dude is pathetically funny. I don't really bother myself with his or any other person's insult of the east. Because it's irrelevant. But him calling them nigeriens is just stupid. I know there are people from niger in Nigeria, but most of them down south are pure northerners |

90% of those Hausa speakers you see in the South are Nigeriens

ib0221: Thanks brother. I have repeatedly told them on this forum that race is nothing. Some people are using it as a tool to acquire position and wealth. However, I am not too young to know what happened in this country, though not yet born at the start of civil war. I had had occasions to inform many from m different tribes that this is where we are and this is we are going if we fail to correct our step. I am only disturbed when I am thinking how the country will be better for all and just check this forum and start seeing rubbish. Along my area in Lekki- Ajah axis there is a banner that reads- we must all live together as brothers or die as fools. Thanks have a blessed day |

ib0221: First, You are not a Yoruba. I always overlook you, people, rubbish that has nothing to do but to occupy yourself with racial banters. Which Iwo road are you talking about? Though I do frown against anyone having majority in any field once the group has the dexterity to succeed, you people utterances are making me to start being watchful. I know there are many Igbos that are not as vitrilous as you, but preponderance of this, in a faceless forum, makes me question their character henceforth. I don't why some Yorubas will join you in exchanging banters. You seem like a sensible folk. But we both know impersonation flows all around in this forum from all tribes. And it is a sad reality because some misinformed people take the twisted views of tribalists in this forum to generalize a whole tribe or region. You see things like "you igbos", "you yourubas", "you fulani's". Even though nairaland does not represent even 0.1 of of any region youth population alone. My brother nairaland should be bringing youths of the country together, but it has failed woefully. |

Due to the high level of terrorism in Somalia, it's not a surprise the plane was shot down. But did the pilot radio in or did the soldiers deliberately shot the plane down. Unfortunately in diplomatic scandals like this, the truth never really comes out and the whole situation is swept under a carpet. |

Science is driven by cold logic. by equations, you can test and duplicate. But human kinds greatest leaps forward, were all born of instincts and intuition by the belief that the impossible was within reach. So there comes a time to put aside all logic and trust your gut and do what you feel is right. We can't jump into conclusions yet |

Politics › Re: FCC: Northerners As Chairman & Secretary Is A Violation - Osita Chidoka by Nerro042: 3:24pm On Apr 30, 2020 |
bizme: Good comment I must admit. However there is no such thing as the United South. I do not believe the South East in particular is capable of forming alliances: no pun intended. Politics is about alliances. It is about compromises. It is about give and take. It is about negotiations. The South East on the other hand has always played activism and aluta-ism mistaking this to be politics. With respect to electoral influence, the South East is one of the weakest in the country. They do not have the electorate to secure a win at the national polls. And it is unfortunate that the South East keeps having a sense of entitlement towards the South West, like the latter is supposed to support them against the North. The North is not the enemy. The North has never been the enemy. The enemy of the country is in each region and they are benefiting maximally while many of us are out here bickering. Many people on this thread are jobless and poor and will remain so, and even hand over the same terrible heritage to their own offspring if they live long enough to sire children. Yet, they are busy defending a sociopolitical structure that continues to consolidate their misery as humans. There is no such thing as the United South, there probably never will be. I believe the Igbos in particular raised their children to hate all other humans, and even to feel superior towards them. Igbo leadership in the past was never a good testimony for Nigeria. In fact at a point the North wanted to secede and it was Igbo leadership that frustrated that from happening. The South West are a distinct group of people. Hate them or like them, they know how to fix their own political problems. The South East should go and have a serious talk with themselves instead of always crying and claiming to be the victim of all things in the country. No amount of crying will secure the presidency for the South East. You have to play the politics or you keep crying... And I personally believe that an Igbo Presidency will most likely demonstrate a far greater degree of nepotism and Igbo supremacy in Nigeria. Every organization, corporation and association, with Igbos at the head in the country always manage to ease out other ethnic groups, replacing them with Igbos. So, if Igbos are not willing or able to discuss the matter on ground constructively, then they should keep quiet because they are not better than the Northerners when it comes to nepotism and tribalism. Love him or hate him, Obasanjo is the only president in recent times that made appointments across board. And he is a Yoruba man. At the end of the day every Nigerian is a tribal bigot. Just look at your epistle it is only attacking one tribe "igbos" it might be subconscious but your brain is already wired to blame and see fault in the igbos. So everything you wrote here applies to you. Peace. |
