Apart from that,
the question is, do all cars own by Anambra people carry Anambra number plateshuh
And the answer is NO!

The two most common number plates found on cars in Nigeria are that of Lagos and Abuja.
So the guy trying to use a number plate to justify his lame argument is absurd.

Few days back, When the news of ANAP foundation sponsoring Peter Obi's campaign with their jet for transportation broke.

ANAP foundation through its official twitter account dismissed the claim as a lie targeted at their ANAP & NOI polls ; which project Peter Obi as the frontrunner of the presidential election; Calling it 'an act of desperation of some persons to present the photo as a proof of bias by the polls'.

Delta State is about to start a keke mechanic workshop at a time Lagos state is launching electric trains, deep sea ports, data centres etc.

Now I see why people derisively refer to Delta state as the Keke Capital of Nigeria.

Keke mechanic workshop with parts being brought in from Lagos is to be completed and launched in few days before he leaves office but the multi-billion naira DELFRASCO Tower Fabrication, Construction and Testing Plant located in Issele-Uku, is expected to go on stream in about 18 months, 15 months after HE Ifeanyi Okowa would have left office.

Mr Okowa could not construct such strategic investment in 8 years but kicked the can down the road to build a keke mechanic workshop and shopping complex at a time Lagos state is launching electric trains, deep seaport, data centres etc projects envisioned by Asiwaju Tinubu. Delta state Governor is launching a keke mechanic workshop.

This is the one mediocre Gov. PDP and HE Atiku went for as VP candidate to replace a mediocre Mr Obi of 2019 and my guess is that by 2027, Okowa too will decamp to LP to start lamba campaign and when we remind him of how mediocre he was as Governor for 8 years, he will tell everyone to go an verify.

He would hire another turncoat like Mr who will eat his own words condemning Okowa as a mediocre Governor.

are Delta State and Lagos State mateshuh

You should be comparing Lagos Development with the likes of Cape Town, Pretoria, Johannesburg, and even Dubai, and not Delta State.

So calm down cos what you're saying here doesn't make sense at all.

Can you show us the picture of Dubai in 1990 and that of Lagos in the same year huh
I want to see something grin.

Having a keke plant in a state is not a bad idea, keke has helped the Indian economy for years.
Delta can build Keke and export it to other West African countries if Nigeria no longer has the need for tricycles.
So your useless post is dead on arrival.

Amazing Akwa ibom nyin

Opinionated:
By Uchechi Moses

Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom is renowned for her serenity, safety, hospitality, well-paved roads and arguably the best of delicious delicacies. A city of slightly over half a million residents with her international airport one hour drive from the city centre. She has enough to wow her visitors. Here are four interesting places to visit in Uyo.

Discovery Park

https://www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/1111-300x169.jpg

Located along Udo Umana Street. With the popular market – Akpan Andem – and the Township Stadium in propinquity. It is a nature themed park that is characterised by scenic views of the old stadium and the surrounding environment. Revellers can indulge themselves in the delicacies available in the park while melodious songs are played by the audio team. Delicacies include but not limited to: Isi-ewu, Nkwobi (made using cow’s leg and tail), Dog meat (popularly called 404), chicken prepared in different forms – deliciously, goat meat pepper soup, barbecue fish and lots more. Akwa Ibom is known for her array of mouth-watering soups ranging from Afang to Editan to Afia Efere (White soup) to Atama to Edika Ikong and others. Albeit, not a soup, the legendary Ekpang Nkuwo is available. Discover them at Discovery!

Ibom Tropicana Centre
https://www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/2222-300x200.jpg

Situated along Udo Udoma Way in Uyo. This is the number one entertainment centre in the state. Modelled after Sun City in South Africa with Silverbird Cinemas as the anchor tenant. Movie tickets range from N1, 000 – 1,500. With students in tertiary institutions and corps’ members paying 20% less the fee (Note: Have a form of identification). Another notable tenant is Silver Lounge Restaurant, with her rich array of meals – continental and African. This is an environment lovers will find romantic. Additionally, the centre provides visitors with activities such as bike riding, electronic games, snooker etc. to immerse themselves in.

Museum of Arts and Culture
https://www.opinions.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/3333-300x225.jpg

For arts and culture lovers, this is one place to visit. Established in 1989, this is a centre of archival items, ethnographic collections and artifacts of the state’s history. It is also a centre for museum education and sales of memorabilia. It is situated along Udo Udoma Way.

Playground

Located at 36, Dominic Etuk Avenue (formerly known as Brooks Street). Playground which is similar to Discovery Park but more popular offers a serene place for friends, associates and family to unwind after the hustle and bustle of life. With more than 15 aesthetically designed bars that offer the best of delicacies, and an open space wide as an Olympic size football stadium, it can host events of relative attendance. With a standby musical band and avenues for sporting activities, entertainment never ceases at Playground.1111-300x169 Interesting Places to Visit In Uyo, Akwa Ibom StateTour Her Culinary Sites

Amazing Akwa Ibom nyin!

Akilou:
Akwa Ibom State: An Emerging Tourist Destination in
Africa.
Located in the Southern part of Nigeria; lying between latitudes 4°32′N and 5°33′N, Akwa Ibom State has amazing road networks and some of the most breathtaking scenarios in West Africa.

The State envelops a rich bizarre of amazing sunsets; plain land, multi-streamed islands, beautiful vegetation, abundant sea foods as well as ancient history and some developing tourist resorts in South-South Nigeria.

On road networks, I would love to emphasize that succeeding leaders in the State have made great efforts toward leaving indelible imprints on our roads. The joy of having to receive visiting tourists into our serene enclave, and then having to ride on these smooth metro roads is unexplainable.

A road trip from the airport en route to the breathtaking ambiance of Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort leaves you agape in awe. The easiness of the journey would leave you desiring a slow drive. The roads are indeed caressing rollers with zero hiccups.

Again, a road trip from any part of Uyo city to Cashew Beach is superlatively smooth. The Cashew beach in Iko, and its beautifully dotted havens remain a multibillion-dollar unexplored tourist attraction repertoire in Akwa Ibom State. The road stretches straight down to the river bank.

Back to the city, the newly constructed ring roads are amazing addition- shifting our good roads score percentage index to 70.

From Ibom Plaza to Bridge of no Return in Ikot Abasi, and joining back to the longest sand beach in Ibeno - Akwa Ibom State road networks are hitting the bars, leaving you with a great urge to discover new rural routes.

Are you still wondering where to ease, relax and refresh yourself during vacation?

Akwa Ibom State not only provides you with easy access gateways but you would also be glad to discover intriguing tourist attraction destinations you would love to explore with your friends and loved ones.

Nice composition.
Akwa ibom nyin Ayaya!

kenny714433:
Our Volunteering Work at Edonwik.

Hello everyone, I'll give a detailed account of our volunteering work on the beautiful island of Edonwik.

On December 2nd, 2020, I was briefed by a friend about the island, he mobilized other students who were at Uyo then and after our meeting, we decided to make our journey on the 6th of December.

Our Journey.

The 6th of December came rather fast than expected. All these days, our journey has been the only thing I dreamt of. The story of the island was quite a fascinating one that I wished we just appeared there. We assembled at the point we'd chosen with our ratios, toiletries, and everything to keep us comfortable for a week. I met with my fellow volunteers for the first time and we were ten in number an equal ratio of boys to girls.
After packing our languages in the taxi, we prayed and zoomed off.

Trust me, from Uyo to Eastern Obolo was one of the best rides I've had in a long time. The smooth road and scintillating landscape had a special effect on my soul. I left all my cares behind and embraced the life of an adventurer, a volunteer, and a teacher.

Remember, our aim was to go teach on the island and we went there as the "Literate and Liberate Initiative".
TravelRe: A Nairalander's Trip To Ikuru Atlantic Beach, Andoni, Rivers State by nesphil(m): 10:10pm On Feb 18, 2023
lbeno Beach in Akwa Ibom State is the longest sand beach on the West African Atlantic Coast.

zillonnair:
So we heard of the Ikuru Atlantic beach which is the longest white Sand beach in West Africa, located in Andoni LGA in Rivers State. I rallied my friends in Port Harcourt, Abuja, Enugu and Lagos and we began planning the trip.

We fixed the 9th - 10th February for the event! Which will be not only to visit the beach, but experience the community and also camp within the community.

Everyone tried to discourage us, many cited security concerns. We were persistent, it is not the first time, we have always known Nigerians to be skeptical of the outdoors, however, we do take our security seriously. So lucky for us, we engaged the Navy in Ikuru town to provide security cover, which they obliged.

We met with the paramount to ruler of Ikuru, King Ikuru himself, a very brilliant and intelligent man, educated and excited about our visit. He spoke alot about nature, wildlife and forestation. The king and his vice are very knowledgeable about wildlife and nature preservation.

The community has white tusk special elephant, native only to Andoni in the whole of Africa.

They also have Anacondas. Sadly one just died, caused by bush fire; one still exist. They also have lots of pythons and alligators. The forest is also home to the Dukier (antelope with twisted horn) which is now extinct. There are still other antelopes in the community. It's a community rich with tourism potential for a safari. The number of elephants within the forest is estimated to be about 49.

One thing struck a chord on our minds, upon arriving at the community. You will find its very organized, with elections conducted into various positions within the community. You will also notice modern infrastructure and very friendly people.

We also met with the new Youth chairman, CSO of the community, Youth Sport Chairman and corp members deployed to Ikuru Town.

After all our meetings, decided to camp at their Community Secondary school football feed...more info...

Naijapromoter:
The Governorship race in Akwa Ibom State has been rather interesting this time. There has been conversations about who will stand and who will not, even as all the aspirants who went through their respective party primaries continue to prance themselves around as the candidates.

Don’t even bother with the INEC website. Their last posted list is not up to date. They have rows for APC, for example still blank, whereas the Supreme Court has okay’ed Akan Udofia and Victor Antai. Also, the INEC row for PDP still has Umo Eno and Akon Eyakenyi, who have both been removed by a recent Federal High Court judgment.

So, after all the drama so far, come March 11th, who are those eligible to stand in the Governorship elections? And who is already out?

1. Obong Bassey Albert Akpan - YPP
As of February 13, on Nigerians Decide, Bassey Albert wins the elections by a monstrous 250% gap with the immediate next runner up which is (erroneously Umo Eno of) PDP. His intimidating popularity was on display on his way from the correctional facility at Ikot Ekpene, having been locked up by well-known corrupted judgment; and his motorcade could not make a 20 minute journey to his house at Shelter Afrique in 5 hours - because the roads were jam-packed by singing crowds from Ikot Ekpene, through Ikono, Ibiono and Uyo. It is clear that this is the next Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

2. Akan Udofia - APC
Like play, like play and only God knows what happened at the Supreme Court for Akan and Victor Antai to become the standard bearers for APC. But these 2 are cool guys. Only that, it is too late for them to campaign round the state. Many Akwa Ibomites do not even know if the APC will feature in the elections or not. The clear favourite remains Bassey Albert whose leadership is considered a clean break from the harsh arrogant administration of Udom Emmanuel.

3. Ezekiel Nya-Etok - ADC
The architect has contested in the last 2 to 3 elections and lost. Before joining the ADC, he had run on the PDP platform, but of course, he is not of the same stuff as his former associates in PDP and APC, which is why he smoothly left for another party. He is cleared to run for Governorship.

4. Senator John James Akpan-Udoedeghe - NNPP
Brave Senator Udoedeghe who recently exited the APC, a party he helped extend to Akwa Ibom State at formation, is running on the platform of the NNPP. He is popular for standing up to the scary administration of Godswill Akpabio in the early 2010s. Though funny and popular amongst Uyo locals, many had since turned allegiance to Albert of the YPP and Udo-Edeghe does not stand a chance.

5. Iboro Otu - AAC
The widely-travelled fine and intelligent gentleman, Iboro Otu is once again running for Governorship, this time on the platform of the AAC. Together with Nya-Etok, Udoedeghe, Ekere Essien and Bassey Albert, Otu performed well at the Governorship debates organised by the NUJ, supported by Clement Isong Foundation and other partners. Though fanciful amongst cosmopolitan Akwa Ibom youths and intellectuals, he is far from the frontlines given his lack of experience and unpopular departure from some of the collective expectations of Akwa Ibomites. Of course, he also doesn’t have the wherewithal to pull through in elections like these.

Note that in the Governorship debates, both the PDP and the APC candidates pulled out last minute citing several laughable reasons. But everybody knew that their uncertainty on who would fly their respective flags occasioned the decision to withdraw. After the debates, Akan Udofia was announced as the rightful candidate for the APC - he would have cherished an opportunity to feature, actually - and Umo Bassey Eno’s attempt to appeal the High Court judgment that kicked him out of the race, was further thrown out.

The other candidates featuring in the race are listed below;

6. Emem Coffie - Accord Party
7. Abasiekeme Mfonobong Ekanem - AA
8. Dr. Ekere Essien - ADP
9. Ita Bassey Ekpo - APGA
10. Eyo Eyo Ekong - APM
11. Ephraim Mbaba - APP
12. Akaninyene Ekpenyong - BP
13. Uko Usen Okon - LP
14. Kubiat Bassey Etang - NRM
15. Sunday Francis Ekanem - PRP
16. Emem Monday Udoh - SDP
17. Nsikak Hogan Thomas - ZLP

After the debates, Akan Udofia was announced as the rightful candidate for the APC - he would have cherished an opportunity to feature, actually - and Umo Bassey Eno’s attempt to appeal the High Court judgment that kicked him out of the race, was further thrown out.

The other candidates featuring in the race are listed below;

6. Emem Coffie - Accord Party
7. Abasiekeme Mfonobong Ekanem - AA
8. Dr. Ekere Essien - ADP
9. Ita Bassey Ekpo - APGA
10. Eyo Eyo Ekong - APM
11. Ephraim Mbaba - APP
12. Akaninyene Ekpenyong - BP
13. Uko Usen Okon - LP
14. Kubiat Bassey Etang - NRM
15. Sunday Francis Ekanem - PRP
16. Emem Monday Udoh - SDP
17. Nsikak Hogan Thomas - ZLP
