ln, the compound where I'm staying, we have 17 flats occupied by more than 50 people(note about 99% of these occupants are 18 and above). But out of this number, about 5 to 6 people have their PVCs, and out of the 5 to 6 people that collected their PVCs, only 3 went out to vote.
USA with about 300 million people had a total number of votes cast in their last presidential election put at about 30 million, what would you say about this
So you see that it's not about population bro.
SLAP44: Please explain the 20 million population and less than a million voting? I want to learn if you have facts.
Too many over-lit spaces. Too many colors. The interiors and finishings are not typically that of a modern airport. Too many pillars as a result of poor design and architecture.

BluntNigerian: In a recent Blog Post by Mark Essien (an ICT Expert), he explained (in details) the whole experiences he had while he was doing the IREV Collation.
One of the things he wrote in the article suggested that Peter Obi’s team of lawyers made good use of his collated results..

Receiving the Governor-elect, Governor Emmanuel thanked God for blessing the state with good leaders and expressed gratitude to the people of the state for electing Pastor Umo Eno, stressing that election result is the best answer to tantrums and insults from naysayers.
"It's with a heart of gratitude to all Akwa Ibomites, both those who voted for us and those who did not.
“Our people know what is good and how to go for it, but for the minutest few that seem to act otherwise, the best answer to any insult is result", he stated.
Governor Emmanuel described Umo Eno as a man with very large heart and a symbol of the peace which the state stands for, assuring of his successor’s magnanimity to accommodate all.
“He called on everybody to join hands with the government and move the state forward.

That Eze should be released with immediate effect.
The madness carried out by some ethnic bigots in Lagos in the just concluded General elections is not acceptable and should be condemned by all.
There's no justification whatsoever for this madness. Saying that 'Lagos is a no man's land' is not enough reason for this mayhem unleashed on these people cos we all know that there are owners of Lagos, that's why when want to build, you must have to buy your land before you build, etc.
The Yorubas living in other parts of Nigeria were allowed to exercise their franchise freely unlike what most of them did to none Yorubas in Lagos. Cos if you look like lgbo they attacked you.
Even if the Igbos came out to say, this is who we wanna support, what the Lagos Governor-elect and the APC would have done would have been to call them and convince them why they should vote for him and not resort to the foolish act of thuggery, voters intimidation, violence, etc.
ln my state, the 'Obidients' threatened not to vote for the ruling party in the just concluded Guber and state assembly elections, What did the state Governor do, did he fight them, NO. instead, he called them and dialogued with them, he told them why they should support his choice, and the 'Obidients' see reasons with him and vow to support his choice and everything went well. That's politics that's devoid of hatred and bigotry.
Let this madness stop so that it won't degenerate into something else.
Fhoools like you should be hiding your face in shame. Cos una stup1d propaganda couldn't stop the man whose time has come.
Congrats to Pastor Umo Bassey Eno. Thank God una propaganda did not aid that gang leader did not have his way. Thank God una propaganda did not aid that corrupt convict to have his way.
Let him get ready to resume his appeal at the Appeal Court in PH cos EFCC is waiting for him
LUAN1: udom is more corrupt than any politician in akwa ibom. , If Akpabio was corrupt as you say, why do more people sing praise to him than udom, I am not a fan of any politician but you need to say Truth to be free. Oba is the best among the major candidate in Akwa ibom. Udom has eaten all the 13% derivation from federal without doing anything, no employment, no payment of retirees. Udom and umo Eno will be the worst governor in the history of Akwa ibom
So a convict of bribery and corruption is a better candidate than Umo Eno?? A gang leader is better than Umo Eno abi?? Then you are daft like seriously.
May be your YPP boss pay you to come here and lie this useless lie to those who care to believe you.
Elistho: In the presidential elections, a few others and I were disenfranchised because of unit problems, I went to the polling unit by 7AM, I waited till 5PM but couldn't vote. INEC arrived by 2:30PM after choas that day, I went home tired and frustrated.
Today, I wasn't in my polling unit, I took risk and traveled from my state capital to my location today. The road was so dry, Military everywhere, no public transport, I almost urinated in my cloths at the sight of armed forces men... I waited and luckily saw a bus, I ran to enter, we took a bush track... We were all scared, it wasn't easy this morning...
I arrived my unit, my neighbor asked me if I'm voting PDP, I was shocked, this is someone we both agreed to vote YPP, because he's a better candidate, she had been bought over with money... She directed me on what to do and who to meet to get my 5k there.
I queued, voted and step aside. The police man was bribed, he gave party agents way to stand and look at the votes cast, if it's PDP, they take you to the backyard, write your name and account number, expect 5k while they give you 1k as initial thank you.
I wasn't too shocked, this was the system... I wanted the money so badly, I was even laughed at... Coupled with my suffering today, plus during the presidentials everyone collected except me... Today, I can't boast of a thousand naira but I stood by grounds for the sake of equity and good conscience.
PDP won the unit, with a wide margin.. I was vexed... I came back home, even posted on my WhatsApp, I'm being laughed at, and I began wondering when doing good turned to a thing of mockery now....
I pray God opens a way for me so I can keep closing my eyes when I see money like this, as a student, 6k is way too much in this economy... But we move. On God.
This is me feeling fulfilled knowing I can criticize this governmet for the next four years with good conscience.
PDP will win in Akwa Ibom State as usual, but it's trash. But I know they're people like me, God bless you.
Picture 2 shows the distinction between poverty and wealth
happiness32: Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello joins the queue, and casts his vote in the ongoing Governorship and State Assembly elections at his Agasa Polling Unit in Okene Local Government Area of the State this morning.
Kogi State is one of the few States of the Federation where the governorship election is not held today but at later date.
The Governor participates in the State Assembly election for Okene State Assembly Constituency.
Akwa ibom is one state that i know that doesn't collect levies on Saturday and Sundays, and after Covid-19 pandemic the state government did also stop collection of levies for some time so that small business can bounce back. So this is not really, the first time this is being done.
YorubaSamurai: State election is in few days time, and some governors are now suddenly doing what they didn't do before just because of votes. I just read that Akwa Ibom govt suspended levies for transporters for 5 days (will I believe will resume after the election )..
So I thought we should list projects done/being done by our present respective 1st term governors, to see which one has executed the most projects, and is worthy of a second term..
Another mumu of the so-called G-5 has gone down Wike mislead them into the bottomless pit of political oblivion
None of the so-called G-5 who wanted to go for Senate has won All their anti-party evil activities have boomeranged on them Do they think that they can pull down the party and move on
This is good for Hell Rufai Kaduna. APC may lose Kaduna to the PDP or LP in the Governorship elections. Ganduje Kano is also shaking cos NNPP may win the Governorship and State Assemblies election in that State, and that will be the end of APC in Kano. Lagos State too, is shaking cos of the Tsunami of Labour Party. Labour Party make take over Abia, Enugu, and Ebonyi Government House come next week.
JasonScoolari: This is the Nigeria we live in, a country where you get killed while exercising your franchise and voting for the candidate of your choice...
A country where some old fools order political thugs to cause mayhem on the electorate, force them against their will and slaughter them if they don't vote for their parties.
May the killers of these innocent citizens die a painful death.
May Her soul rest in peace! May her killers die by bullet too.
okuya: She was such a lovely lady, gunnd down by APC thugs in her polling unit @ ogheghe Benin city Edo state because INEC brought materials late yesterday @ 6pm, her last post was 7:28pm yesterday during the count
