this is so apt... I have faced this, traveling from country to country peacefully and enjoying my life till someone told my family that I travel frequently and BOOMMMM all hell of demands broke loose...

I wasn't married so the married ones began to place demands on me, tell their kids to call me so I can be manipulated to give... family responsibilites that I had no business with.

I had to first relocate from the address they all knew... to somewhere they would never be able to find me, then I traveled out... changed my numbers, then I came back to Lagos and put on the FAMILY SIM just to greet them via SMS and remove it quickly before they call.

Since then I have had peace, my own family has had peace, no more demands from extended relations

So it is not normal for a boss to call a staff meeting or just head of the dept and inform them abt the sale so that they can pass the message to their subordinates.

So the fate of the staffs should be left like that?

Is this how it works in corporate organisations too?



I think it is very bad to sell and didn't inform any staff.. I mean the senior staffs.... They are supposed to know......

I just Cut one off recently, he brought his girlfriend to my office and introduce her to me as his junior sister, he plead that I allow her do IT in my office, which I accepted , the lady spent all the ASUU strike in my office doing her industrial training , I went extra mile to make sure that I trained her to be the best, recently my cousin called me and inform me that the girl was the guy girlfriend ,

Ah omo, i had to. Dude was never supportive as far as anything that concerns me comes up, my startup, lets run it together, dude said No, he cannot answer me sir, i got a job let him stand as referee , dude said no. I ran into issues, help out dude said he cannot.

I said to myself, No point keeping this one as friend, make e kuku day go. Na so we become strangers
