You can get a reference from your work place if your intended school allows it. If they don't, then you have to get an academic reference.

Use reference from your current contact…employer..etc . You can still email your former school for ref.

Guys please can anyone talk about what kind of references we can use?

I graduated 11 years ago and don't have access to my lecturers and I'm currently not in the country. I intend applying for an MSC. Nursing course.

Please your response would be highly appreciated. I have been asking this question for 2 weeks now.

Please anyone in a similar situation or who has an idea should please help

Please how do you deal with the challenge of References for those who graduated up to 10 years ago.

Can you use references from your past or current employer or someone you know In the academic field?

CAS is issued by your school after you meet with with certain requirements. Varies from school to school and the requirements ranges from interview to deposit to POF.

Also, it is issued 4 months to your course start date.

Just the balance for the first year and maintenance money for 9 months

Also print your Visa Application Form and memories all the answers you gave and stick to it. Dont change anything. If you say you are going to stay with someone, know some basics about them. Age, full name, address, when they got to the Uk, job, salary what type of Visa they are on and so on.

If you have a study gap, please go back to you first degree course, and realign with all of them.

When asked how much you will earn when you come back just say any figure higher than your tuition so that the ROI will be clear.

Give the impression that you are coming back after your study to help "change" Nigeria with your newly acquired skills(i missed this part in my first interview)

Lastly try and align your future ambition to your course.

Given that they have initiated Post Study visa, is it still necessary to give the impression that you'd be going back home?

Isn't the use of the post study visa to encourage graduates to stay back?

No school will issue CAS earlier than 6Months to your start of your course.

You can apply from your current country of residence. You must have a legal stay e.g Residence Permit.

From my experience Ehn, I applied from Dubai… Just go back home and ensure you don’t supply too much information…

You don't have to return to naija. You can apply where you are as long as you are legally resident there

Application opens next month, they would issue you CAS 4 months before you resume school, that was what I read on one of the school website.

Wow. Isn't that too early given that CAS expires after 6 months?

I assume you meant Sept 2022? So you still have time. Sit down and go through pgs 1 and 2 thoroughly. Go to Part 5 and read from at least the last 20-40 pages. I’m for Jan intake and even using a school rep agent, but I’ve been reading this page daily since April. Like after going through Instagram, twitter etc, I come to NL as well.
School A’s procedure might not be school B’s, some ask for TB test and/or POF before you’re issued CAS.

Once you’ve done the above, trust me you’ll be well grounded in this, hell you can even open shop as a UK Student visa agent
