Not them, get your personal account officer's details and be calling that particular person. If they are not picking, go to the bank and request for another account officer.

Sorry, what I meant was lock your funds, not your account. I confused the two.

You're supposed to have book balance and main balance or something like that sha. They'll keep equivalent naira they'll need for the transaction on one side and you'll see small remainder (remaining balance) of your money on another side. Sometimes the small remainder will be in negative sef if you did not fund well.

But still ask your AO how far make you know what to do.

GTB locks account when you initiate with them. You contact your account officer, send your documents to them and have your account locked Did you do that?

If yes, then it should not pass this week or next week, cause I know someone who locked account 31st January that was debited today.

They did not ok.

Depends on the provider. For instance, Moneybox does it month-end for funds received before 4th of the month. If it was paid after 4th, will be the next month-end. Something like that
