LuchiBianca: Congratulations. What school and have you completed your RPL? Sadly I meant 4 rejections in response to the person who got 5. Lol. But I claim the congratulations. I have one offer for Social work though that came with scholarship. This year, i haven't gotten any feedbacks prolly cos they just resumed from winter break. I also didn't get any invitations to complete RPL except that one from Derby which I didn't go ahead with because it would have been from one lie to another. Those guys are through with their questions mehn Lately, I've been doing indepth research on what really suites me, what I really want. Is nursing really for me or I'm better of with social work and vice versa.... I'd like to hear from someone who has gone the route of MSc in social Work and is now a social worker. |

Uzland: Hello, Newbie123. HCPC requires either IELTS results or a letter of English Language Proficiency (Medium of Instruction) issued by your university admin or department. The English Language Proficiency letter can only be accepted if you schooled in a country and university where English is the major language used for daily communication. Cheers. Thanks Island. Much appreciated |

Let me check on my email for their email address Edited : Sorry the support email I have is for my schools pebblepad. The email that wrote you that a pebble pad account has been opened for you is your support contact. Write them and if on the other hand of they had emailed you a copy of the feedback you really shouldn't bother Thanks sis, will do this |

LuchiBianca: Have ever had problem viewing assets before? Pebbelpad can be very confusing to navigate at the initial stages. Please confirm that you actually clicked ọn assets to view. If you did try this. Ọn Each activity you would see like 3 dots on the side or where is written comments or feedback. Click on it and see if your feedback is there I did this. I even went online to search for info. I clicked everything clickable too |

But when I log in, I don't see anything. Intake is Sept 2022 LuchiBianca: I wrote and submitted mine via pebble pad too. But our feedback was sent via email. What school is this and what intake? Did you setup the pebble pad account? Please write to support to help you out. |

Guys....quick question please.
If you've been made an offer that came with a scholarship, is there a deadline for you to accept the offer?
I'm trying to hold on to hear from other schools
NB: There's no time limited stated on the portal or offer letter but I'm concerned about loosing the scholarship.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Intake is Sept 2022 |

You may want to try Buckinghamshire new University. They also offer a pgd in nursing with NMC registration and it is open to International students. Hi, Could you lease throw more light on this? Is this the PGDipl professional practice (Nursing) that's for 2 years? |

LuchiBianca: Had an offer for SW for Lincoln. They also give 5k scholarships to African students reducing the fees 10500. But you pay 50% of the remaining upon enrolment. Try applying to Liverpool Hope and Wolverhampton and Gloucestershire for SW. Their fees are under 7k pounds per year. Cool. I will though Nursing is my first choice |

LuchiBianca: Oxford Brookes, Canterbury Christchurch University, Lincoln University,. These are all September starts. Bournemouth Uni too. So I just checked Dundee website. It's say you can claim 50% of the programme with recognition of prior learning. That's the work port folio part so you get 2 years instead of 3. Pls contact the school of you want to go this route. Inside life... I've just gotten unconditional offer for Social work with 5k scholarship. Fee would now be 15k. Lol |

LuchiBianca: Lmao better go and write it. If you know what you are writing that means you have knowledge of what to do. You Already lied by applying for the course knowing they require work experience as part of your application and you don't have it. Just complete the lie and get your admission. . 3 years is too long and remember you will pay for 3 years IHS and that's almost 1m and you don't know what naira will be exchanging for next year. Apply to UCLAN too, Chester,. You don't want to know applications for nursing i Sent and only two unis called me for interview whick I aced. If you really want it like I did, go for it. Sis trust me, if I had known from the beginninig, I would have known whether to follow up the lie to the end. I applied to UClan and Chester too but no reply yet. I didn't reason that 3 years IHS fee ooo. Kai |

LuchiBianca: 3 years preregistration nursing is for those without health care experience. They won't ask you to fill a work port folio if you go for it. Mine is two years . So they go for the interview so you get acquainted with how to answer admission interview questions. Apply to Bournemouth Uni. Their work port folio is quite easy and they didn't even require IELTS from me and my WAEC is 10 yrs old. I Finished mine in 2 weeks. although I didn't take their offer. @Newbie123 why give up? Nursing is quite competitive and they want the best hence the selection processes. I got a lot of emails rejecting me application but that didn't stop me. Wow. Thanks for the encouragement. I know it is competitive I didn't give up per say but the Derby portfolio, the part that says practice requires me to talk about my experience during care and write small small essays. Then get a signed letter from my supervisor documenting evidence of the hours, then another recommendation letter from a referee. I was able to complete all other academic essays and questions. Boya they will pity me If I continue with Derby, that part would be lying and I don't want to start my journey that way |

Safeob27: Good evening sis, I’m guessing you’re in the UK already studying adult nursing…if you don’t mind me asking, what school please?…I am currently applying for the same course and have an interview with Dundee next month …how were your nursing interviews? Lastly I got rejected by Plymouth cuz of lack of experience in a hospital but I’m currently working in a hospital now ..do you think I can re apply? Derby also rejected me because of my personal statement, according to them . If I make changes to my personal statement can I reapply or I should just move on
Would really love to talk to you beyond naira land if you don’t mind Thank you Hey, let's connect as we are almost in the same shoes. I was also rejected by Plymouth but Derby moved me to the next stage but the portfolio writing is very very hectic. I'm almost done with the academic writing but the practice area is my concern as I don't have relevant work exprience so I just gave up. I also got an invite to interview from Dundee so please let's keep in touch. Their fees and the 3 years thingy is discouraging sha |

Kermiebby: Please I need help on this
I’m about to apply for MSC adult nursing September 2022 intake but the major issue is that most schools require a previous job experience in the health care setting for a minimum of 400hours. I have 2 questions 1)Is there any school that doesn’t require the 400hours experience?
2)Is it advisable to lie about experience in your cv? Have you applied or gotten feedback? |
