Have been on this CBN new Form A since last month. My advise, pay your deposit on time so you can meet up deadlines or unforseen circumstances and endeavour to upload all documents (sadly not stated clearly on the site). you need, offer letter, int passport, nysc, bsc if going for msc and msc if going for phd. school issued payment details, court and newspaper change of name (if applicable).

Mine was rejected afte about 3 weeks (wasted time). because I didnt upload all documents and I had to cancel and the application and reapply.

rate varies but somewhere around #416/$- #420/$, however some banks service charge is #5000 for such transactions

I haven't applied for PTA but I have applied for Form A using the platform.
You will select Educational services, since that is what you need it for. Then the receiver account will be the account details of the personal bank you want to process it at. Example, if you have a GTBank account and you want the pounds to be received by same bank, you input your GTBank details. You can follow it up at GTBank and receive your money after the end of the process. Make sure you have funds enough to cover the transaction in your account as well.
You can wait for reviews from other people because I haven't started my PTA process yet.

The PTA selection automatically selects Tourism and selecting the Educational service means you’ll have to enter a receiver Bank Details . Who has done this before should please help me out. EDAKUN

Had the exact same issue with GTB.

Called customer care a d they explained that back then during registration of BVN, there was no option to link mail.

He proceeded to ask me some security questions then sent me BVN correction form to fill and send back.

I thought that was it only to get an email saying I should go to the bank.

Long story short, be ready to bombard them with calls and emails and always emphasize that you're not in the country.

They finally agreed to rectify mine in 48 hours after asking more security questions.

Look for someone that works in the bank. They can help you on one-one basis, maybe your accounts officer. Someone i knw did same. Though not GTB.

Hi guys,

I tried registering on the TRMS website but was told my BVN is not linked to my email address and I need to contact my bank.

Since I'm not in the country, I put calls through and was sent a form to fill which I did. Only to get a reply saying I needed to visit the bank. I escalated the query and made them understand that I wasn't in the country and there was no way I could visit the bank but they insisted.

Please is there any way around this?

Has anyone been in similar shoes?

None. Usually, the only time you lose your deposits or part of your deposit is if your visa gets refused because you used deception/misrepresentation. Read your school's Ts & Cs to be sure that your deposit is refundable.

That's not true. However some schools would tell you to only pay the required tution deposit for CAS. And you may pay more after CAS has been issued. Atleast that's what my. School told me. But there's nothing wrong g paying all your fees before enrollment. Some schools even offer discount for early payment
