patani: Yes, Police can chase you but can they charge you to law court? All evidences are inadmissible in a law court These incomplete laws and legislation is what encourages police brutality..
Up till now, there is no law giving appropriate sentencing for terrorism...is that how a country progress? Yes, they can charge you under a lot of laws. From offenses like cyber stalking to cyber bullying to spreading false iinformation to obtaining money under false pretense. There are tons of laws and acts in Nigeria. Nigeria has laws governing the cyberspace. Illiteracy is the cause of police brutality |

patani: Has anyone been prosecuted for wht they posted online? Can Twitter post or email be presented in a Nigerian court of law as an evidence? All these things need to be sorted out in my opinion... and that what the regulation should address...Even a country like Australia is currently reviewing online contents bill to curtail terrorism No need for any regulation for that. Police can trace anyone who posts anything incriminating online. It's part of their work. They should come clean on the regulation they are talking about |

patani: You guys dont reason before posting on the internet...no wonder the call to regulate
FYI..Regulation involve being responsible for what you post on the internet which is a good move Actually, regulation or no regulation, everyone is responsible for what they post on the web. Always ask people to thoroughly define what they propose before you consider it. Scepticism or paranoia is always a good first approach to things. |

abbey621: Maywather definitely has some shady deals, from stock market insider trading to serious gambling but una go dey Nigeria dey believe only what you see on the outside. Moving on, ask yourself what company does Mompha own or has shares in? What's their earning statement/dividends? Guy parades 100k dollars on Instagram daily, various trips on private jets and so on, yet we found no reason to be suscipious that a common bureau de changer has that much wealth? Someone can just wake up one morning and shout 50 Billion for the akant ti o and we all start praising him or her, WAKE UP! He owns a BDC. You're just like that white dude. You let the luxury fool you. Private jet? Lol. You've heard of the word "first class". LMAO Bro, take calculator, do some research and you'll arrive at a reasonable figure. Figures don't lie. |
Celebrities › Re: Gar Warner: "Mompha Is A Top Ten BEC Scammer" by Newboss(m): 7:07pm On Oct 25, 2019 |
Midas01: Try and receive small sense.
They didn't say he is a scammer due to his Instagram lavish life. They're saying he's a scammer because they actually have proof he's actually a scammer. Baba, your second paragraph is 100% wrong! That guy has no clue. Read that thing he typed and get the point. He believes he's a scammer (top 10 sef ) because of the wealth he displays on IG. Let me give you a simple rundown of how wrong he's. 1.The most expensive car this guy has ever bought is around $500k (RR) 2.He has never bought a Bugatti or a Ferrari LaFerrari. 3. This guy in question LOVES cars AND loves to show off any major ride he's acquired. From the above, you can see a pattern. With that pattern, you can easily reach a figure under $5m. That is not even within top 40 in BEC. It's like the guy doesn't even know how much BEC controls annually. Summary: he's judging by the display on IG. He didn't even bother to check the cars in question because he's just looking at the brands |

abbey621: Don't rush to comment, the Instagram reference is used to display how wealthy he is. The fat remains that most people who worked hard for their money legally, don't go about flaunting it carelessly. The same goes for politicians/religious leaders flaunting private jet or automobiles, dig deep down and you'll see something ain't right! I always knew mayweather is a hardened criminal. Baba, if what's on IG is the wealth he wants us to see, then there's no wealth there, just flashy stuffs. That guy is as clueless as they come. His car collection is way under $3m. You can do the maths yourself. Nigerians will listen to anyone so long as they look white |
Celebrities › Re: Gar Warner: "Mompha Is A Top Ten BEC Scammer" by Newboss(m): 6:35pm On Oct 25, 2019 |
lilfreezy: . The fact that he mentioned hushpuppi means they know what's up. These foreign agencies already have a list of scammers and they probably waiting for one to enter some specific countries so they can nab them. If invictus didn't go to the USA, man would probably still be in Nigeria. Those yahoo Boys using a white man's internet thinking they ain't watching, them no know say their name don already enter vc's list That guy is not any agency. He's just another guy that has an opinion. Just that he's a white man. Nothing more. Top 10? Ridiculous! He's clueless |
Celebrities › Re: Gar Warner: "Mompha Is A Top Ten BEC Scammer" by Newboss(m): 6:31pm On Oct 25, 2019 |
If he's judging by what's on the IG page, then there's nothing forensic about that. You can't just do that because it's plain dumb
I guess his comment matters because he's a white man. Lol |

LaDolceVita: You missed my point. Money laundering is big business - okay? And you know he is a money launderer how? Have you seen his finances? Even if he *was* a money launderer - how do you know how successful he is? It's not out of the question for people with some money to exaggerate their money online. Do i even have to say this to a Nigerian?
There's really no proof in his pics he is a BDC guy. Posing with what looks like stacks of money beside counting machines doesn't really count. You're taking a lot of what this guy says at face value which i find really odd especially because so many of his pics are so obviously suspicious (the ones of him standing in front of cars on the street for instance).
I've lived in Dubai. And Malaysia/Singapore. I've seen tonnes of Yahoo boys, drug dealers, passport sellers, govt connected 'businessmen'. People who flex online, pop bottles, fly their girlfriends to the Burj or Langkawi from Nigeria, put money with ten other people to rent a Lambo for a few days and then go back to their cramped apartment that they share with ten other people. This guy might not be as bad but by God he has that stench on him. He showed off his tax returns. Look for that. He showed off evidence of rolls royce purchase. Guy, you know nothing about this guy. From what you just typed, you're just getting to know about him. He went ballistic when his feud with huspuppi started. You obviously don't know about mompha Bureau De Change. Just go to his instagram page, everything is there. |

LaDolceVita: Anyone who thinks 'He owns those cars because 'money laundering is a booming business'' is a good argument has no business questioning other people's sense. Those cars are not that expensive for a BDC guy with money laundry connections. $3m can buy everything there 2019 model. Most cars in his collection are not even latest models. Most were bought used. No big deal here

I don think he owns all those cars, maybe some. Do you know how much taxes super car lovers pay in Dubai? Taxes? Baba, the only tax in dubai is 5% VAT tax. If you buy a house, you'll be paying annual service charge per sqft of the house. Even businesses don't pay tax. No income tax. Try Dubai |

collins88: Fellow Nairalanders, anyone with the capability to Owned such a vast amount of wealth should surely be rated on Forbe List, please disregard this mompha person. How much are the cars there? 2020 Lamborghini Aventador is under $600k. Lambo Hurican is under $300k. The rolls Royce is under $600k. Gwagon is under $150k. That McLaren is old model. The Bentley is under $400k. The Ferrari 488 is under $500k If you have $3-4m, you can buy every car there 2019 models and still have change to buy house in dubai. Just use Google before overrating people's wealth. Before you start converting to naira, these guys deal in hard currencies, not that worthless thrash. |
