There was pandemonium at a FCMB branch in Lagos today after a man showing Covid-19 symptom collapsed causing customers to flee the scene.

According to reports, the incident happened at the Onipanu branch of the bank where many customers were reported to have gathered for various transaction.

The man was reported to have suddenly developed difficulty in breathing before collapsing to the ground.

His temperature was reportedly taken and it was alarmingly high, causing the customers in the bank to run for their lives.

Self-acclaimed plastic surgeon, Dr Anu has defended herself after being called out over alleged botched surgeries she conducted and death of former beauty queen, Onwuzuligbo Miriam Nneka.

Dr Anu who lashed out at those calling her out, stated that she doesn’t think the dead should be disrespected in any way, as pictures of the late Nneka has been making the rounds on social media. She also pointed out that those dragging her should have channelled their grieviances through appropriate channels instead of social media.

The Nigerian doctor also stated that Nneka never died at her plastic surgery clinic. Though she admitted that the late beauty queen underwent plastic surgery, she however added that she (Nneka) “walked” into Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for pneumonia treatment.

Dr Anu stated that while Nneka was at LUTH for over a month, she was made to lie on her bum and also forced to discontinue her antibiotics medication which must have led to complications. She insisted that there is evidence to show that the deceased who she claimed was mismanaged at LUTH, never had fats in her lungs after her surgery.

A Nigerian lady on twitter has accused popular Nigerian artiste, Brymo for rape, she also disclosed how she was sexually harassed.

According to her, she visited Brymo with a friend, only for the singer to sexually assault both of them, @Biliquis_X took to Twitter to share screenshot of the allegation.

The woman, who gave her name as Peculiar, reassured those concerned about her that she’s fine.

She disputed claims that her hair was chopped off by the owner of Wilmak pharmacy and stores – who has been arrested following the assault.

Setting the record straight, Peculiar denied reports that she lost her husband as people claimed online. She said she’s never been married in her life neither is she a nursing mother as claimed.

She said she has made peace with God, with herself, and with her abusers. She added that she doesn’t want to “make case” with the staff of Wilmak who beat her up.

She thanked the lawyers, human rights activists, and the DPO of her area who all came to her rescue. She also thanked those who have contributed money for her.

However, she asked people to stop sharing her account number online and discouraged people from begging for donations for her online. She also told people to stop making donations to anyone on her behalf.

She did not address the allegation of theft against her but promised that she will speak more in another video.

Media personality, Toke Makinwa, has taken to social media to expose a fraudster who tried to blackmail her with her ‘nudes’.


Taking to Instagram, Toke shared a mail she received from those who claimed to have received her naked photo, which might soon be published on their site.

The picture itself, is an edited old photo of the celebrity.

On the 3rd November 2018, Toke posted her birthday photoshoot on social media. The fraudsters went on to pick up the picture, edited off her scanty clothes, and replaced it with another woman’s body.

The fraudsters wanted to use the images to blackmail her, but she moved switfly by sharing them on her Instagram page.

The Nigeria Immigration Service is set to discipline three female officers who took part in a social media challenge known as “bopdaddy/don’t rush challenge.”

In the challenge, female participants from across the world wear their usual clothing at the beginning of the video and later changed into more elegant attires after the camera of their phones were covered for a while.

Some female officers of the government agency then decided to hop on the challenge, which didn’t seem to go well with the authorities of the NIS.

In a query by the immigration authorities, the officers were accused of “indecently flaunting your bodies” and desecrating the service “uniform/beret and the use of inappropriate language thereby, sabotaging the values upheld by the service.”

A sex worker who initiated a mild drama in Calabar, Cross River State’s capital allegedly confessed to lying against a cab man who picked her up.

The lady accused the man of reneging on their agreement of giving her N8k for a night, after reportedly being unsuccessful in her attempt to seduce him during the ride.

The incident attracted policemen who took them to a nearby police station where she confessed to lying against the man. According to the sex worker, she was broke and needed someone to fall for her scam.

A trio of suspected robbers, made up of one woman and three men, were allegedly caught robbing along Benin-Auchi road and they were beaten and disgraced.

The gang of robbers, also known as “one chance”, operate a taxi which they use in robbing unsuspecting passengers. They were caught after they robbed a woman and tried throwing her out of their taxi.

A victim of the gang, Mrs Mariam Ufua, narrated her ordeal in the hands of the robbers. She said she was disposed of a sum of 30,000 Naira after she boarded a Taxi operated by the gang.

She said she boarded the taxi to New Benin, unaware that the passengers were members of a gang.

In the course of the journey, she said they asked her to wind down the window. She obliged, not knowing it was a ploy. When she tried, the glass wouldn’t budge. As she turned to tell them the glass wasn’t working, she noticed they had dragged her bag. She began dragging with them. When she finally got hold of her bag, she noticed the zip was torn and her 30,000 Naira was gone.
