I received a mail that my passport is ready. I have tried to schedule an appointment for pickup with DHL but I keep getting records not found error. I have raised tickets yet no feedback from DHL. My pick up location is DHL Victoria Island. What should I do? |

Your son is almost 18. At 18 he is an adult and his father cannot stop him. However he(son) needs guidance and soft landing in Obodo Oyibo. So please use Good words to follow his father. Apologise to him and promise to always do as his say. Not because of anything but to set your son in the right direction and under authority in a foreign land. Good luck quote author=Nikkyberry027 post=120669390]Hello house, please i need enlightenment on this issue I'm a silent reader on this thread. My son(almost 18) applied for a euss family permit with the help of his dad and was granted last month. but this is my dilemmas: 1. His father who is an eu citizen and i are no longer together, he left us while my son was still 9 and haven't looked back since, so he's settled there another family, but shockingly he came to nigeria early last year, and said he'll like to take our son with him over to stay with him, after series of argument, and with the condition that my son will stay with his sister in lagos for the whole processing time(but at the time he didn't know i won't follow that).i decided to accept for the best interest of my son and as i have a sister who is willing to look after him over there incase there's any problem, but shortly after the visa came in, he got to know that my son was staying with me all this while in abuja that I only took him to Lagos whenever he has anything to do there concerning the process(imagine something that came be done here in Abuja without this much stress) and then he took the matter up so seriously and said he has nothing to do for the boy again and all sort, even commanded that his sister in lagos seize the passport fortunately i already have it with me. Tho i got a hint that his wife over there knows about the whole process maybe that's why he's behaving that way, I don't know. 2. Now he threatens that he can destroy the visa, and my son will not be able to go without his consent, or do anything there and i already booked a ticket for next month for my son, planning my sister will receive him. as i do not want to ruin the boy excitment and and I believe it is what is best for him because i'dl really like him to further his education over there. 3 So please house i want to ask, is it true he can destroy the visa or my son can't go without him or his consent? are his threat real? because if it is i should probably just end it here, because i'm already tired an confused. please i need your advice.[/quote] |
labiola:No,please don't pay. Let them tag along. The crowd is manageable. If they insist when you get there then you can pay. But nothing of such. Just arrange your documents well and book normal appointments for them. Each of you need appointment |

For PTA please avoid GTB like plague, Stanbic IBTC will attend to you if you have connections. Standard Chartered is a lazy bank they won't even accept your application. Zenith, Access and Globus might be better options |

Put the name and phone of the Hotel. Let the hotel you are choosing be reasonably priced. Between 70 to 110USD is ok. Don't select $2k dollars a night hotel, unless your father is Buhari. The number of days that you will be staying is matters too All the states in America are tourist site but most popular are destinations are New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Washington. Consider ticket price, where you have friends and relatives and POE before selecting any city I hope this helps. Icesnow: |
Gtb receipt , photo passport, international passport Employment Letter and previous passport if you have Visa on it Lordkross: |
Why did you complicate your application? We always advise you to keep it simple. They have seen your UK visa on your passport and that is all that is required. They are not interested in your bank account or ticket. Book appointment and pray for God's favour. Explain that you are travelling to UK esdajo: |
21 days is too much for family vacation. They feel that Your husband business is not important to him to leave it for 21days. In terms of cost you can't afford 21 days in hotel and tours. If you want to reapply, let your husband reactive his coy, reduce the number of days to between 9 to 12days. Add your plans what you intend to do in the days that you are staying Did he add his business bank account, projects won and pictures of projects executed. Projects won and inflows in Bank must tally When you get the visa, you can spend your 21days or more. AbbeyBidemi: |
dasayo:Be patient . I will also advise that you pray for favour incase they are taking time to decide |
Lordkross:It is normal. Just pray for favour |

Your application is being attended to. From what I understand, this is how it goes with regards to status: a) Application Received b) Administrative processing c) Issued (or Refused) Just be patient and wait for a few more days and check the status again. Hope this helps. Cheekybae: |
