The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Nigeria, UNHCR Nigeria, has revealed that it received the sum of N10million from Daystar Christian Centre pastored by Sam Adeyemi.The sum was donated to assist the organization in supporting people fleeing their homes even to conflicts.

UNHCR Nigeria tweeted:

"Today, we received a N10 million-naira donation from the Daystar Christian Centre, a benevolent faith organisation based in Nigeria. This donation will support people forced to flee their homes because of conflict, violence or persecution in Africa. #WithRefugees

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has threatened to sue anyone who speaks or writes anything negative about her daughter, Ryan Roberts, whom she had for a British photographer.

According to her, she has gotten used to bad reports about herself, but what she won't tolerate is her daughter being cast in such light.

“People wish bad for me and that is what I don’t understand. People are so interested in the negative stuff I am used to the stories but my worry is why they are interested in the negativity.

Pastor W.F Kumuyi of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has said thst women who put on men’s wears are abomination unto God. The clergy man made this known last Sunday when preaching on the topic: “The Inner and Outward Beauty of Kingdom Citizens.”

According to Kumuyi, the Bible specifically warned that men should not put on women’s wears neither should women put on men’s wears.

He buttressed his point by stating that everybody would frown if a preacher come to the pulpit putting on a woman’s wear as people would think he was abnormal.

He went on to state that the standard of God would never change. Even if the world would change, he said that God would still frown at any woman wearing men’s wears or men putting on women’s wears.

He challenged Christians to keep on obeying God’s word rather than the world and not bow to pressures.

The pastor further stated that the outward beauty that the world seemed to appreciate bred pride and arrogance, saying that the inner beauty gotten through Salvation in Christ should be coveted by all as such would lead to heaven.

Their reaction to the news of a beauty queen, Onwuzuligbo Nneka, who died due to cosmetic surgery performed on her by an uncertified doctor seems to show opinion difference.

Femi Fani-Kayode was the first to react via Twitter where he warned ladies of today who might be considering butt enlargement.

However, his wife Precious Chikwendu is of the opinion that one can have cosmetic surgery done as long as it makes one happy. According to her, the late beauty queen who was a friend of hers should not be blamed for her choice but the quack doctor.

CSP Dolapo Badmus has shared the picture of an herbalist who was arrested after he exhumed a corpse either intent to sell the body parts so as to raise money.

The police from Zone 2 Command has arrested a 48-year-old herbalist, Ibukun Moses, while attempting to sell human parts.The body parts allegedly belong to a lady identified as Toyin who was brought to the herbalist for treatment but died of an undisclosed illness.

Immediately after her death, investigation revealed that the herbalist contacted her family to come and take her for burial. The family then agreed to bury her in a cemetery which the herbalist took them to.

However, after the burial was concluded, the herbalist returned to the cemetery to exhume her corpse, cut off her head, the two hands and some other vital organs. Upon his arrest the suspect confessed to have done the act because he needed to sell the body parts to make money he needed.The AIG in charge of Zone 2, AIG LAWAL SHEHU has directed the detectives to ensure proper prosecution.

The beauty queen who is the 2013 Face of Democracy Transformation, Onwuzuligbo Nneka Miriam, died on February 3rd after a 31days coma from December 30th when the surgical operation was done on her by an American uncertified Surgeon, Dr. Anu.

Ghanaian actress, Efia Odo has stated that she believes in God but she doesn't believe in the Bible. According to her, the book is man-made and full of fairy tales.

The actress made this known on Twitter where she questioned some of the stories written in the Bible.

"In the Bible Adam, Eve, Cain,Abel were the only ones in the world. After Cain killed Abel he ran to the east of Eden. Genesis 4:17 it says Cain made love to his wife. He was in the east of Eden in Nod. So where did the WIFE come from if they were the only ones in the world?", she asked

A man waded into the discussion with some clarity to her question:

"The bible never explicitly says that these four where the only ones on earth. They had other siblings. the fact that Cain was afraid that someone would kill him for killing Abel signified that the world at the time was a close knit family. So Cain left his own people to wander".

A college student of Prairie View A&M University has been arrested for allegedly pouring bleach in her roommate's eyes. The student, 18-year old Brianna Esomchukwu, has now been charged with aggravated assault.

Report say she got into a fight with her roommate, 19-year-old Julisha Wyatt, who complained that their room smelled like weed.

However, Brianna Esomchukwu stated that the fight was due to Wyatt always looking her out of the apartment.

After the altercation, Julisha Wyatt got s substantial amount of bleach in her house and was rushed to a hospital by an ambulance.

Esomchukwu's enrollment and status as a student are currently under review as she faces likely disqualification.
