Nigerians have aired their opinion about ladies wearing waist beads, a thing which is fashionable but most times attributed to voodoo aka juju.

In a Twitter thread discussion, some men say they find it sexy when ladies wear beads, while many stated that they cannot have sex with any lady wearing beads on their waist. According to them, charms are often laced in such beads.

Examples of charms which are widely believed to be laced in such beads are love charms, destiny destroyers and ‘do as I say’.

However, some quarters believe beads are simply for weight checking. They say when the beads get tight, it simply means one is adding weight.

A Twitter user has narrated how a man dated a girl for 4 years, sponsored her to school and also paid the school fees of her younger ones only for her to dump him and marry someone else.

The lady's action makes the Twitter user believe everything gender is scum because she now sees that it is not only men that are guilty of breaking hearts.

She wrote:

"This girl dated this man for 4years, he paid her way through school and he still paid her younger brothers school fee just last week. Last Saturday was her traditional marriage with another man. I saw a man cry bitterly today. Scum isn't gender based. EVERY GENDER IS SCUM."

She went on to add that when the lady's family realise that the postponed general elections which fell on the date they picked for their daughter's wedding might hinder their arrangement, they proceeded to having a small wedding consisting of just famlily and friends.

"Some family are so evil. They refused to change the traditional marriage date after they heard the news of the elections postponement because of their selfish reason. They did just family family marriage with little or no friends available from 6pm to 8pm. God safe us."

A 24-year old Nigerian student based in Ghana has been threatened to be evicted by her landlady for allegedly making loud noise during sex.

According to the landlady, she received complains from neighbors about the noise the young Nigerian lady makes during sex.

“Every house has a rule that one has to adhere to when renting an apartment. I have a big house which I rent out.

I rented out a single room self-contained to a beautiful young Nigerian lady who is a student in one of the universities in Kumasi for three years (2017-2020).

We lived in peace for some time but recently she comes home with different men and makes loud noises anytime they have sexual intercourse. She makes very loud noises that even irritates people outside the house.

I confronted her several times on this issue and even advised her to reduce her noise making but it fell on deaf ears.

Recently, two other neighbours confronted me about the lady’s noisemaking and added that is either they vacate the apartment or I ask the young lady to leave.

I have complained to her several times but to no avail so I have no choice than to ask her to leave”, the Landlady disclosed.

A woman has been severely injured after she decided to climb a barrier near the enclosure of a jaguar to take pictures in a zoo she visited in Arizona.

While she was busy taking pictures for the gram, the jaguar took a swipe at her which left her bleeding heavily.

The woman could be seen lying on the ground and in pains according to pictures taking by a witness.

Zoo officials acknowledged the incident in a statement:

“We regret to inform that this evening, before closing there was an incident reported involving a guest, who crossed over the barrier to get a photo, according to eye witnesses.

“The visitor sustained non-life threatening injuries to their arm from one of our female jaguars. At the request of the family, paramedics were called. At no time was the animal out of its enclosure. The incident is being fully investigated."

According to Zoo director Mickey Ollson, this is the second time in a month that the jaguar has swiped at a visitor.

The Ethiopian Airline which was confirmed crashed on March 10th was predicted by Prophet Cosmos Walker Affran on his Facebook page on February 7.

The Ethiopian Airline was on enroute Kenya when it crashed 6 minutes to take off.

Reports say the crash killed all 151 persons on board including a Nigerian professor, Pius Adesanmi.

The Facebook post shared by Prophet Cosmos Walker Affran, the Founder and Leader of Cosmos Affran Ministries, called on Ethiopians to pray to avert a plane crash.

Google search engine has shown that Naira now exchanges at 184.00 to a Dollar just a day before the commencement of the 2019 presidential election in Nigerian.

The statistics seen on the popular search engine also shows that Pounds Sterling equals to N240.35.

However, a look on the website of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, shows the Naira still exchanging at 305 to the Dollar.

The presidential election will be kicking off tomorrow as assured by the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu.

The two main contestants are President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and former vice president Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Barack Obama has given his opinion concerning toxic masculinity by stating that a man doesn’t need to have 8 women twerking around him before he can be seen as a man.

Obama made this known at a recent panel with NBA champion Steph Curry.

When asked to define who a man is in relation to the LGBT community, the former US president said:

“Being a man, is first and foremost being a good human. And that means being responsible, being reliable, working hard, being kind, being respectful, being compassionate.”

Obama didn’t hold back his opinion when the open discussion turned towards toxic masculinity.

“The notion that somehow, defining yourself as a man is dependent on are you able to put someone down instead of lifting them up, are you able to dominate as opposed to support. That is an old view. And a view that, thankfully, I see young people rejecting.”

He went on to state that male confidence is not by having 8 women twerking around you.

A Nigerian student has made Ghanaians to launch a campaign tagged #BringBackOurTaadiGirls after three young girls went missing since last year.

The campaign was launched as a way of mounting pressure on the police to intensify effort in rescuing the girls believed to have been kidnapped.

The Nigerian student, Samuel Udoetuk Wills, is the prime suspect in the matter and has been in, out and in of police custody.

The girls from the Western Region town of Takoradi were kidnapped from separate families.

21-year old Priscilla Blessing Bentum was the first to be kidnapped in August 2018. She left for choir practice but never returned home.

18-year old Love Ruth Quayeson was kidnapped four months after, while the third girl, Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, 15, was kidnapped on the 21st of December last year.

Other parents who have lost their children through similar means staged a protest on January 4 demanding for the whereabout off their children as they questioned the lackadaisical approach of the police to the situation.

The police has, however, denied the claims of the residents who say seven girls have been missing so far. According to them, only three girls are missing.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK, has reacted to Oby Ezekwesili pulling out of the 2019 presidential race.

Ezekwesili pulled out of the presidential race earlier today stating that she is joining a coalition of other candidates.

Since making the announcement, her party, the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, ACPN, has thrown its weight behind President Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking re-election.

Reacting to the withdrawal announcement by Ezekwesili, FFK wrote on Facebook:

"Oby Ezekwesile has finally opted out of a presidential race in which she had little chance of winning even one per cent of the votes.

It would have been easier for a pregnant Somalian chimpanzee or a four-eyed Zambian frog to be invited to Buckingham Palace for lunch with the Queen than for this so-called "presidential aspirant" to win one polling booth, let alone one ward or one Local Govermment Area, in the race.

The fact that Oby's running mate, one Galadima, and her political party endorsed Buhari three hours after she opted out of the race speaks volumes.

She, Fola Durotoye and Omoyele Sowore were clearly spoiler candidates who were on a malevolent errand of mischief, who were never to be taken seriously and whose hearts secretly lay with the tyrant all along.

I have no doubt that those who claim that Oby and the other "not too young to run" presidential aspirants, with the possible exception of George Moghalu, were just a front for Buhari and a futile attempt to take votes away from Atiku Abubakar and the PDP.

The wisdom of Atiku refusing to participate in a debate with these unconciable jokers and desperate pretenders cannot be faulted or questioned.

They did not deserve the attention that they so desperately sought and their motives for participating in the presidential race are, to say the least, questionable.

The only one amongst them that had anything meaningful to say or to offer and that spoke from the heart and with full sincerity of purpose was George Moghalu. This is a deeply courageous man that I have come to respect.

Nevertheless I urge him to opt out of the race and throw his weight behind Atiku. This is not George's time but something tells me that sometime in the distant future he has a date with destiny."

A young pastor based in Zimbabwe, Prophet Wonderful Moyo, has been accused of sleeping with his Church members.

The ugly news broke out when Prophet Wonderful Moyo dumped the church members he'd allegedly been sleeping with to marry an outsider.

It became worse as sources claim he has been using the Church members to fund the payment of the bride price required to marry the new lady.

“Our prophet fooled himself by thinking that his calling was going to be effective by marrying,” said the source.

“He forced another woman who was leading her own ministry to join him and promised to marry her so as to be effective but this failed to bear fruits.

“Prophet Moyo widened his own eyes and proposed to another woman and it became the talk of church and smeared his preaching and this forced him to dump the two.

“Church is not an organisation but an organism so Prophet Moyo took church for granted and started forcing leaders to collect money to help him pay bride price and this is what forced many to leave the church,” revealed the source.

“I have since left the church and Prophet Moyo is now married to someone vanhu ngavachisiyana neni,” she said.

“It is true that I fell in love with Prophet Moyo and he forced me to leave my ministry and join his while promising marriage as well.

“He was seduced by one of the congregants and fell in love with her and it became known to church members.

“I want God to accept me because Prophet Moyo along with his spiritual father based in Mozambique forced me to accept false prophecies they made in order to add membership.

“Such false prophecies were done to many members and we were forced to accept.

Prophet Wonderful Moyo has however denied the allegations. According to him, the members cooked up those allegations against him after they left his ministry.

“They are not six leaders but they are many of them who have left citing different reasons.

“I know there is a girl who had a problem in church and she has been telling people that I was dating her.

“This girl loved me and I didn’t love her because I was dating someone at that time so she forced it to an extent that some leaders thought I was dating her.

“Some of the leaders thought I was dating this lady and we had some meetings where I told them the truth.

“We asked her about the issue. I asked her to tell the truth if we dated and she said no and I think that’s where the divisions emanated from, because there are people who believed.

“I would want to know the person, as far as I know I got married on December 22, last year and I know these are the things meant to disturb my ministry and my current affair.

“We are wedding in April, so when I announced it in church a lot of people were not happy and I know there are a lot of things which happened.”

Shortly after his unveiling, Kevin-Prince Boateng hailed Barcelona captain Lionel Messi as the best in the world.
