A guy of 27 years old impregnated my 16 years old sister mean while she's about to write her waec next year.
I called the guy on phone and he said he's ready to take responsibility of the girl and she will marry her , but me I don't like it that way because she's too small to bear a child and I don't want that to happen to my sister because she's the only girl in my family.
Now the question is I want her to abort the child and focus on her education but the guy said he ready and my mom called me and said that my sister said if anything should happen to her that it's on our head.
Please I want you to post it so I can hear people's opinions on this so I can know the right thing to do because I'm I'm going crazy.

Please I need a good advice on how to follow this matter. My mom want her to suffer so she can learn her lesson but me she will bring shame to me and my family. I'm just a boy of 22 years old still on the street.

If the guy wants to marry her then leave him alone. Your sister also sounds like she wants to be with the guy, so leave her alone.

How can you carry matter that doesn't involve you on your head like this when others want you to leave them alone? From what your sister is saying, she sounds old enough to know what she wants in her life.

Live your life and leave your sister alone. Whatever she wants to do is up to her, i don't see how her actions can shame you. Please drop that primitive village mentality.

It depends on the kind of person hush iso to them, may be he has done a lot for them that the woman might feel the husband will not be angered by her giving him money. They are some kind of people in your life you don't need permission to help because you know what they will do when u need help.

No naaa, no such thing. If its his parents now, we can be flexible on the entire situation but this is his friend, no ooo. If someone makes use of your stuff without telling you, it shows their lack of respect towards you.

Whats a marriage without respect? Even if you have a generous benefactor who helps you without complaint, it is right to ask first before touching anything that belongs to them.

I don't agree with verbal abuse or physical beating either. I also meant that if a woman or man found out that their partners were abusive, they'd have to make a choice on how to move forward.

am sorry if I hurt u with my point too but what am saying is that even if your wife made a mistake n u are angry with her, there are better ways to correct her even without insulting her. like seriously if I were to be the guy I will just tell d wife to get me my money without having issues with my friend or better still tell he to pay double of the amount she learnt d guy. n many other ways to get your money without u having issues with your friend n your wife. with that done,next time even if its your mum that needs the money she won't do that without seeking your consent. my point is that there are many ways u can correct n change things without insults

D truth is DAT d wife shud not have lent him DAT money, wat a reasonable wife wud have done is to ask him to call his frnd, even if she has her own money d wife is not supposed to give him without d consent of d hubby, why, because d hubby might read meaning into it. it may not be immediately but with subsequent incidents.
Eg I give or lend my friend money from my OWN money not DAT of my Hubby's. I have also said that i believe he has a right to get angry. However he reacts when he is angry, is it not his marriage? If he beats her & they arrest him, will it reduce the amount of groundnut i will use to drink garri?

My brother, let me save you the assumption. While i will be angry enough to know if my wife has a screw loose, i will definitely confront her because i am not happy and we will have a long talk, without insults off course.

It seems evident that she depends on him for cash as she asked him for $1k of the returned money. If i ever touch money my wife kept without talking to her about it 1st, i will also consent to having my head examined.

Next time she will want to talk to her husband 1st before making decisions...especially on sensitive subjects like HIS money.

For my girl-child, she has every right to see and observe my unclothedness. She's going to grow into the exact physical features I possess so I'll never be apprehensive when she walks in on me unclad. I don't believe he'll pick up sexual thoughts at a young age from seeing you naked because at a young age (probably 3 - 5 or even 7 & 9) he wouldn't be able to get an erection, especially from his mom he has grown up seeing unclad and because he should have no knowledge about sex at all.

There are more chances he'd probably pick it up from stuff like media, peers or if he has been molested.
