and the rest of my statement u agreed to ryt?
Nay! All what you said still boil down to that post.

My point,

if you talk about general purpose computers, of course you don't need to brainstorm yourself just to give commands when your simplified high level language can be easily burnt into the 32/64-bit microprocessor interfaced with sufficient RAM size.

But same cannot be said of a dedicated 4-bit microcontroller with very limited working memory.

Mnemonic gives direct command without the inherent bulkiness associated with translated high level languages.

And do you know the daily turnover of microcontroller-based equipment as compared to general purpose computers? Think of your mp3/4 player, mobile phone, tv set, dstv decoder, auto transmission system, modern ac, microwave, washing machine and any of your devices that operate intelligently. They all derive their intelligence from those single ICs on the motherboards.

What do you think should be the remuneration for the brain behind this?

A programmer is a programmer and that is not an edge, the richest programmers in d world uses HLL. Even very few ppl write assembly codes from scratch these days, there r applications to handle it. No matter how good u r in assembly language a hll programmer ll make more money alot easier than u
I laugh @ the emboldened.

Pls find out the backbone of embedded systems, especially the ones with low bit microcontrollers like 4-bits.

actual programmers are not experts in assembly languages, by that mark wont abt an actual programmer, the definition of programmer is some who can write computer programs not assembly programs. You can as well say the programmers are the ones that code in computer language.
Even the oxford syllabus for computer science didnt go in depth in assembly language, it all stops at d basics just to give ppl an idea. I doubt bill gates still code in assembly language, some of his engr's maybe
If you read my initial comment on this thread, you will see where I mentioned engineers in embedded systems. These engineers have perfect understanding of the microcontroller architecture, which allows them to manipulate them the way they like.
Note, embedded systems have very little working memories (RAM) and must be optimised. High level programming language cannot achieve this optimisation.

Have you ever wondered why the microcontrollers in the brain boxes of cars cannot be reprogrammed to achieve the original outputs?
Actually, it can be reprogrammed but only by experts in assembly language programming and this is where they have edges over programmers in high level languages. They are the real designers/programmers.

I bet you, an expert in mnemonic cannot be picked from the streets, they are mostly consultants.

Stop lying just to score some cheap inconsequential points. Pls provide where I stated the emboldened. I compare myself with my wife, not my mum. What I have for my mum is respect not dragging equality with her.

And I repeat, stop changing the concept, it is not about biologically assigned roles, but about responsibility.
My father has more responsibility than my mum and as such she cannot and indeed has never equated herself to him. Continue.

Christianity Etc › Re: Bible Teaches Gender Equality, Why Has Gender Inequality Always Been The Norm? by nextprince:
OLAADEGBU:
I have just mentioned two Prime Ministers in the UK numerous women MPs. Have you got similar examples in the Muslim world?

Who said women are not allowed to participate in the sharing of their late father's property?

You are mistaken certain cultures in particular parts of the country. This does not apply in cultures that has been enlightened by the word of God.

You forgot to mention that in Islam husbands are allowed to be violent to their wives, they are allowed to share their husbands with other wives, women are not allowed to marry from other faiths, the witness of a women in court is not equal to men's, women gets punished or executed if they are raped, women are not permitted to express themselves and the list goes on. cool
If you christians are selective on which parts of your Bible to comply with and which to discard, muslims comply with the Qur'an fully.

Now, explain the following verses of your Bible, and provide verses against them.

1Timothy 2:11-12
1Corinthians 14:34
Ephesians 5:22-23
1Peter 3:11
1Peter 3:5-6
1Corinthians 11:3-6
Genesis 3:116.

Having done that, you may now continue with these;

Pls point out cases where only a female adulterer is punished and the male is allowed (with evidence pls).

Stop lying, pls provide proofs of how Islam encourages violence in spite of what I have listed out in the post u quoted. Pls do that with facts and figures. Meanwhile I can list out some reported violence metted out by ur folks against women if u want.

Yes, women are not allowed to marry from another faith, any problem with that?

Programmers r definietely not well paid in Nigeria.. mention 10 Nigerian company that pay its programmers above 500k, but i am sure u can mention 20 companies in developed countries that pays its programmer over $200k/yr
Also not all programmers should know how to code in assembly language, I understand assembly codes doesn't mean i can code in one..once u master 2-3 languages u r good to go.
I will want to agree with you on the first point that programmers don't earn that much in Nigeria. But actually, this also depends on the level at which programming stops in Nigeria since we don't actually design. What we do mostly is "user specific" modification, which, to me is not different from the job specification of a maintenance officer.

Secondly, the actual programmers are the experts in assembly language coding because microcontrollers are actually encoded in assembly language. The use of translators/compilers for high level languages have limitations.
