Actually it happened - in Jos
Muslims were brutally murdered and dismembered
Their heads were hung on spikes and paraded publicly with impunity
There are videos of the incident around
If you google, you will see videos on Youtube. They cannot be posted to avoid being banned

Jonathan - that clueless excuse of a president - did nothing about it
Only for him to go before the US Congress about 6 weeks ago and beat his chest about not condoning impunity
I never joined in abusing Jonathan but after that charade in the US, an ex-president!, I am now convinced he was never qualified to be a president
Oh! Really?

But why is it painted as of it is the muslims that carried out such act?

Stupidity resides in those that cannot place issues in their correct perspectives; since when did the herdsmen/ community issue in general and the the ongoing one in southern Kaduna become a religious problem that warrants the northern Christians being blanketly labelled as collectively stupid?

Wrong, the murdered woman in Kano was never beheaded, even her husband had repudiated that allegation, so stop spreading lies.

Yes, arrests were made and the alleged attackers prosecuted in court but there was insufficient evidence to convict them - hope you are not expecting the court to still go ahead to convict and sentence them even though they may not have anything to do with the crime, simply because you are baying for their blood.

Audu Maikori made a conscious and deliberate decision to generate false inciting information capable of disturbing the peace, even after his attention had been called with regards to the authenticity of the story; he yet went ahead and stuck to his guns, backing the story as true and furthermore convinced a mainstream newspaper (I think it was Vanguard) to go on and foolishly print such damaging falsehood without verification.

The question you should be asking are as follows:
Did Audu commit a crime or not by spreading such malicious falsehood?
Was it wrong to prosecute him giving the potential harmful impact such misinformation could have on the unity and peaceful co-existence between the warring communities and their sympathisers?
Should he go scot free because others in the past had escaped prosecution?
Should he go scot free because he is a Christian and also because assailants of Christians elsewhere and others like him guilty of spreading inciting divisive false stories had also gone scot free?

Pls quote any inciting statement littering the cyberspace accredited to El-Rufai as claimed, so that we can analyse it together to see how true your allegations against him are.

It would appear as if you too had been pumped up by one of Apostle Suleiman's infamous sermons - "if you see any Fulani herdsman around here, kill him kill him, cut off his head and nothing will happen" or possibly have been misled by the many misleading stories from our so called mainstream and obviously biased southern Christian owned/dominated media, who often are too lazy and unprofessional to verify stories before publishing them.

God bless you for this wonderful piece.

The only stock they have in trade is nothing but lies, lies and more lies which they use in garnishing their mischievous propaganda.

Imagine this kind of lie; cut off a woman head and walk the street holding the severed head and be threatening to do more if given the opportunity, habbbaa! In which country did that happen for God's sake?

I wonder how these people generate, transmit and distribute lies and still go to bed knowing fully well what they have done.

Very unfortunate, to say the least.

You call him an illiterate, a man without certificate but yet in 2015 the electoral laws of this nation gave you and Buhari an equal opportunity and franchise to compete at the poll.

My brother with all your certificates which you acquired from maybe ABU, BUk, ATB, Okopoly, Akungba poly, Nuba poly, and so on why didn't you contest in 2015?

ItsMeAboki:
You make me laugh at your naivety and ignorance.

The first overtly tribalistic and divisive recorded statement in the history of Nigeria's politics (and particularly southern politics) was made in 1945 by an Igbo man, a prominent lawyer and member of the central legislative council of the NCNC, Charles Onyeama; who the said, "Igbo domination of Nigeria was only a matter of time"(see Page 204 ”Ethnic Politics In Kenya and Nigeria” by Godfrey Mwakikagile).
That statement was credited to have been the first of its kind and the beginning of tribal/regional politics as other groups began to think and respond similarly.
That comment was followed by another in 1949 by Dr, Nnamdi Azikiwe under his dual capacity as both leader of the Pan Igbo Union and the NCNC, who at the time may have forgotten that the latter was not an Igbo party after leadership of the party was handed over to him by a Yoruba man (Sir Herbert MaCaulay) when he (Zik) was quoted as saying, "It would appear that the God of Africa has created the Igbo nation to lead the children of Africa from the bondage of ages ….”(see, The West African Pilot of July 8, 1949).

No, those examples were not to prove he loved them but certainly to show he did not necessarily hate Igbos as claimed.

Alleged arrest of those Enugu boys was lawful and in order; because they had no right to take the laws into their own hands and initiate the killing of innocent citizens who would have had no part in the earlier killings simply because they shared the same tribal ancestry with the culprits - in any case Buhari wouldn't need to have been involved with that order since he already has a police chief who would have been automatically responsible for such minor details.

You blamed Buhari on the lack of action by the security agents even after warnings of the impending Enugu attack; yet you ignorantly forgot that the immediate persons who first got the information and yet didn't act were no other than the governor (Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi) being the state's Chief Security Officer and the Commissioner of Police (Nwodibo Ekechukwu) - both of them Igbos (as per The Transition Committee Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State ,Chief Cornel Onwubuya, on Monday told the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Nimbo Killings: https://www.nairaland.com/3222221/enugu-traditional-rulers-collect-grazing).

Lest we also not forget that shortly after the killings your Igbo Police Commissioner boldly appeared on TV to dismiss the attacks as not by herdsmen but by hoodlums fighting between themselves.

Lest us not also forget that Igbos are not entirely blameless on this matter, even though the biased southern dominated media had always been feeding us with only one side of the story; however, a little research would reveal evidence of Igbo culpability in the matter: e.g.

Traditional rulers and others guilty of collecting grazing money from the herders, where sometimes the latter are duped of their money.
https://www.nairaland.com/3222221/enugu-traditional-rulers-collect-grazing

Igbo communities guilty o f illegally selling grazing land and duping unsuspecting herdsmen
https://www.nairaland.com/3079874/enugu-amalla-people-sold-land

Northerners being killed by Igbos in Igbo communities
https://www.nairaland.com/2897936/three-hausas-killed-enugu

Stealing cattle of herdsmen in Igbo land
https://www.nairaland.com/3341187/100-cows-missing-enugu-fulani

Tendency to also attack innocent northerners over unconnected disputes between individuals in Igbo land
https://www.nairaland.com/3545305/igbo-fulani-clash-enugu-over

In short, you Igbos are bad losers who love hate and blame everything and everyone but yourselves.
You hate Buhari and sell the lie that he hates Igbos simply because he won the last election and your candidate lost- thats all.
Choi, I just feel like grabbing popcorn and child zobo drink while reading this.
Infact EOD.

I don't understand this senator... how can you be law abiding and won't pay complete dues on your importationhuh

Which kind category againhuh The Head of Custom said all vehicles that has not paid custom dues... Senators should face better things.. or are they the illegal importershuh
My brother, I just taya, especially the emboldened.

Law-abiding, yet you don't want to pay complete dues on your importation, nawao!

Besides, which teeming Nigeria citizens is he talking about? Those that can't afford tfare from Ajegunle to Mile2 or the few who change cars like boxers and be evading taxes?

I'm telling you, most of these top shots don't pay anything in the name of tax for their importation and when a policy seems to be against those practices, they are there shouting "teeming Nigeria citizens". How many average Nigerian can evade Import Duties and get away with it? Make dem go sit down joor, nonsense.
