InvestmentRe: Man Who Created Own Credit Card Sues Bank For Not Sticking To Terms by Nextworldnx(m): 10:28pm On Aug 11, 2013
~ZN~:
Listen up, you. First off, I'll break it down for you in plain words - this was not an open contract. It was more or less an offer with "terms and conditions". If you'd followed the case from the start, you'd know that he received an unsolicited credit card offer (if you're familiar with the ones sent very often by Visa or American Express you'd know what I mean) - he did not walk up to the firm and request for a card.

On a normal basis, by completing and signing the application, he would be applying for a card on the bank's terms. If he did not agree to the terms of the application, the right thing would be to turn it down or express in writing stating whatever terms he wanted.

The trick he played there was 'digitally' modify parts of the terms and conditions in a very sneaky fashion to suit his desires (even changing the website URL showing the terms and conditions), the bank on the other hand might've assumed the application was unaltered, processed it and sent him the card - of course you can blame them for the oversight.

Clearly, the bank was unaware of these changes and assumed it was issuing a credit card 'on their terms', not knowing the T&C of the application sent to him had been altered.

If he was in the UK, Forgery & Counterfeiting Act 1981, would've seen this matter over with.
What in God's name are u saying? .... That the bank shouldn't be blamed for "oversight"? Abeg tell me something else.

I am not a Lawyer o! But I know a popular saying in the Law court, which goes "Ignorance is not an excuse before the law".

Why do people and companies use signatures and seals or watever on binding documents?
Is it not to show that any paper and agreement carrying such Logo, seal and signature should be honoured to the last letter, provided u signed it?

My friend park well and don't call us dounces here. A company sent me an agreement form for me to sign, I alter am to suit my own terms and conditions and signed my part on it, forwarded it back to the company, d company endorsed it, processed my card and sent it to me. I have been using the card on my terms for awhile now and when they broke their "signed" agreement and I dragged them to court before they realise their mistake. U re now telling me that it was just an "oversight"! Come on " give me a break.

I have friends as lawyers, heck even my younger brother is a lawyer. I have seen owners of companies kicked out!! U know why??! Because of the "oversight" u spoke of, whereby business owners sign documents without actually reading through because they trusted their business partners and colleagues not write otherwise from what they had verbally agreed on!

If na me, d bank neva begin pay self. They go pay shetey till they sack the idiot, Mumuni wey the incharge incoming mails. NONSENSE!!!
SportsCristiano Is Not The 'real' Ronaldo - Mourinho (the Only One) by Nextworldnx(op): 1:23pm On Aug 04, 2013
Aug 3, 2013 2:00:00 PM

The two-time Champions League winner has previously claimed that his compatriot "thinks he knows everything"
Jose Mourinho has taken another swipe at Cristiano Ronaldo by claiming that that his fellow Portuguese is not the "real" Ronaldo.

The Chelsea boss, who recently stated that his former charge at Real Madrid "thinks he knows everything", insinuated that he has more respect for Brazil legend Ronaldo, with whom he worked during his time at Barcelona under the guidance of Bobby Robson.

"I was manager for the first time in the 2000 year but, before that, I was assistant in big clubs and with big managers and coaching the best players in the world, so I was 30 and I was coaching Ronaldo, not this one [Cristiano], the real one, the Brazilian Ronaldo," Mourinho told ESPN.

"I was coaching Rivaldo, I was coaching [Luis] Figo, I was coaching [Pep] Guardiola, I was coaching big players when I was very, very young.

"So, at that time, I was not the manager, I was just an assistant but I was feeling that I had, in my hands, some potential and after that I start my career in the year 2000 and after four years I won my first Champions League and, after that, everything comes as a consequence."

Mourinho left Camp Nou in 2000 to coach Benfica but it was at rivals Porto that he became a household name on the back of their remarkable Champions League success in 2004.

That dude is ignorant of what he is saying
Will u just SHUT DA hell up! Take a chill pill and go tru my post again, there's no where I said d money will make him a dealer.

I meant dat money can make him a Major Dealer in no time! Or is that still not true?

With 2M, do u know how much dat will amount to in the next few months?

Be wise my friend and smell d coffee, this d surest investment anybody with a good capital can make.
InvestmentRe: Urgent Need Of Advice On What To Invest With 2.5 Million Naira! by Nextworldnx(m): 8:05pm On Aug 03, 2013
Biafra diplomat: could you expatiate on this please, what is the profit margin, capital and other requirements.
First of all, the money at hand cannot make u a dealer right away, but with time, you will become a Major Dealer.

Its a Step-by-Step process, first u become a Major retailer, raking in 200k - 300k profits monthly, before getting to d point where u emerge as a Dealer.

I am currently a retailer and have mapped out a 3-step process to get that dealership level.

If u are interested, we can talk on phone or with Email.

Have you thought of communication business? Like becoming a Major Dealer and dealing directly with major telecos company.

That's is the business I am in and my major aim is to work my way up to become a dealer. Just part of that money is enough to make u smile forever, 'cos trust me, dealers make tons of cash and besides, u become a company owner with lots of staff. Think about it.

My two cents...

SportsWe Want Osaze Back!!! by Nextworldnx(op): 2:17am On Jul 19, 2013
This is our Message to Keshi

Despite all that has happened, I still believe that it is about time that keshi listened to the majority of Nigerians and bring back our "Boy" Osaze, atleast if not for anything but to give him his last chance to make amends at the world Cup before he finally hang his booths. I mean, he is better off than Shola Ameobi(who wouldn't have given a damn about us if England had Capped him) whose name is on the List Keshi just released.

Many of us still haven't Forgiven him since that 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea here in Abuja, but we should not forget that he had never failed or disappointed us prior to that time(2010 world Cup qualifier against Tunisia, where every other player was embarrassing himself on the pitch, osaze made sure we had goals), infact, he was the most cool-headed, committed and loyal member of the SE. He was always around for matches and atleast scored some crucial goals when needed.

I beg of u, I am not related to him in anyway to become is mouth-piece, I just love him and his style of play(his goal against CIV at beijeng 2008 Olympics readily comes to mind) and I believe strongly that he has a major role to play in the world Cup. Therefore, I am turning to the social media, hoping that my voice and that of those that still want to see Osaze in SE(atleast till 2014) should be heard and Keshi should please consider him since he has apologized.

This is the time he need his Country more, exactly now that his Club has rejected him and other Clubs are offering peanuts for his Services. If keshi still throws his weight behind Musa and Ideye, then he should afford Osaze his last chance.

Mods please frontPage, keshi must see this as the wish of Nigerians.

WE WANT OSAZE BACK!!!

Nickydrake: I moved into an apartment once, where I had the good fortune of sharing the block with a number of dashing damsels. Every so often they'd prance by daintily, clad in these shorts that barely contained, or concealed, jiggling buttcheeks; and, when necessary, I surveyed the goods with an interest that, I assure you, was purely scientific.

Two doors from mine was one in whom I'd taken particular interest. She wasn't one of spectacular beauty; she was just pretty enough to invite an inspection of her other feminine attributes, and those were indeed most remarkable.

One saturday morning I was up early and going out to get stuff in the street when I ran into a certain girl in the hall. I thought that she must be new on the block because I'd never seen anyone like her around there. She was also dreadfully plain; almost outright ugly in fact. I began to think how fortunate I was that none of my neighbours were that unattractive. As she walked past me, I snuck a stealthy look back long enough to see the butt tremble, and its owner unluck the door and walk into the apartment two doors from mine.

It wasn't until I returned to my apartment, and upon careful reflection, that I was struck by the cold and terrifying realization: the awfully plain girl I'd seen in the hall on my way out was none other than my very own neighbour, caught without that masterful, and I daresay, merciful touch of make-up.

That was a very disturbing deduction, I shít you not; and although I still admire the wonder it works on a girl's appearance, I've come distrust any amount of make-up that's beyond a charming smile.
Ok now I get it! This is a literature thread, everyone is showing off their Mastery of English.

jamace: If I get the OP right, OP means 5% x6 = 30% for the first 6 months and 10%x6 = 60% for the second 6 months, giving a total of 90% of capital for the 12 months.

90% profit on investment for a year. Hmn. This looks enticing.
You are right, most times, high profit investments are usually high risk investment.

Reference: Jus noticed that a lot of comments flow along the lines of financial investments. But Nigerians invest or mis-invest in a number of other money pits on a daily basis under the watch of 'professional consultants'.

Its a jungle out there so my 'portfolio' contains more than just papers. As a matter of fact it resembles what the early explorers to new continents carried: map, compass, anti-malaria potions and spare rhino bullets.

Believe me, they have kept me alive in this country as paper investments have answered their name - paper.
Ur words are pregnant bro!! I know u re speaking in parables, but i'd be grateful if u enlighten us further....
