Ebi4life: Most Nigerians like to waste their money in things that will be useless. Do you think that after spending ur family hard earned 750k on one so called programe, you wil get good job. As far as Nigeria is concerned, accumulate all d certificates, trainings, degrees and u dnt have any political Godfather, you will be roaming around d street wt other graduates who are jobles. Instead of spending 750k into one training that u are nt given automatic job, I prefer to do biznes wt that money and be making atleast 150k monthly as profit and have peace of mind and nt waking up early rushing to work to return 10pm. Nigerian graduate dnt have entreprenuer mindset, all what thy think abt is to look 4 job all about and blaming d govt. No wonder some slow thinking graduates want to go and spend 750k for training that getting a job is nt sure.
What's this one saying. If u don't have info about some things. Just shut d fuvck up!!! FYI, the newly privatised Power Sector needs minimum of 5,000 "Skilled" workers yearly - for next 5 years- whereas NAPTIN will be producing 1,200 skilled workers as about dsame time frame. And u still think that as a product/Graduate of NAPTIN u will be jobless? There's going to be massive employment in d poWer sector and trust me, its not business as usual.

Besides, who told u Engineers work 8-6pm like every other office staff?

Go get some education dude!

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Uruguay Fifa U17 World Cup (2 - 0) On 2nd November 2013 by Nextworldnx(m): 8:03pm On Nov 01, 2013
With our style of play and Isaac success fully fit, no team in this tourney will take anything less than 3 from us - yes, including brazil. Our boiz play with pure intelligence and raw instincts picked from street football and blended with a little of "know-hows" from their coaching crew. The only time I've ever enjoyed this style of play was in 2007 except maybe then the "boys" were older. Their ball control, body movement, goal awareness and blistering pace is somewhat a delight to watch.

My only worries now for the latter stages of this cup is the fact that:

1. The boys are tired and jagged already. They burn so much energy needed for 2 matches in one match and I fear that they might not have enough reservoir left for the remaining matches(starting frm tomorrow).

2. Isaac promise isn't fit yet and I am scared that iheanacho and yahaya alone cant do it alone. 'Cos trust me, Isaac is better than both of them. I have seen him play and I tell u, that guy is a beast. Imagine him going at full throttle upfront with d rest supporting him, we might as well be drinking with the cup In a week time.

Anywayz sha! Fingers croSsed for tomorrow. 'Cos those South-americans do always come up with a prank up their sleeves.

May God help us.

naija noni: To those people dat were saying d eaglets havent met a strong side yet thats why we've been trashing everyone.
The mexico we flogged 6-1 have defeated d brazil that many of u were saying are d strongest team in dis tournament.
Mexico are far far stronger and more tactical than d uruguay we are facing tommorow..
We've faced d strongest opponent in dis tournament in d group-stage already and we flogged dem 6-1.That 2 teams 4rm our group are already in d semis just shows d class of our eaglets.
.Im very positive that nothing d uruguayans would bring tommorow dat d eaglets havent faced already. But in football,d unthinkable happens.God help our eaglets tommorow!!.
No mind them! We are not playing a strong side. Na luck we dey use win, we no get defense, we dey play small small children,...bla bla bla. Yet sweden we carry 3rd for our group dey semi-final. Yimu!!!
As if mexico n sweden come sell groundnut(as na only us sabi play) so they no go attack our defense or tap us too. They go just dey look us dey rape them anyhow since no be football they come play.

This is football, the team who makes d less mistakes within 90 minutes takes d day.

femi4: How is 6/10 a good defense rating.

Conceeding 5goals in 4matches is practically not acceptable. Defensive error/ goalkeeping error is part of the game

The defence performance against Sweden can't be thrown into a trash can

How is 6/10 a good defense rating? WTF, who gives any team 10/10? Dude wake up and face reality. No team goes into d field of play praying to conceed 4/5 goals and then hope to play catch up. Football is dynamic and if u must win, then u must be ready to evolve as the game progresses. That is what makes u a champion, ability of the coach to read a game and the players using dat to adapt as well. That is why renowned managers like mourinho, ferguson will always win anyday, anytime while Papa wenger will always remain perpetually bemused!

U have ur strategy and formations ready before kick-off and with 5 minutes a call goes against u and ur player gets a red card! or u noticed that this wasn't d style of play u were expecting from ur opponent. What do u do? U stick to ur original pattern or switch tactics immediately? If u switch tactics and d end result turns out 5-4/4-4. U kill urself for letting in 4 goals?

Please don't carry this mentality as a coach o! Because u will miss it. Remember this: In a Game, ur aim is constant, but ur strategy and tactics is what changes depending on d flow of d game. And such strategies affects d overall outcome of a Game. Who cares about d number of goals scored or conceeded, so long as i win the match?

That's why players train hard daily learning and perfecting different strategies, so that when d "die is cast" ur deeper strength comes to fore.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Uruguay Fifa U17 World Cup (2 - 0) On 2nd November 2013 by Nextworldnx(m): 5:10pm On Nov 01, 2013
safarigirl: huh? @femi, thank you o. The Uruguay we're playing have conceded 4 to our 5. Like I said before, our strong attack is what saves us from mauling since we score early goals thereby psychologically destabilising opponents from the getgo
Support my points with strong facts u said? Ok, nobody judges a team with just a match. Conclusions are drawn after a collection of games. Prior to our match against Iran, even Fifa said on their website that iran had the best defence in the tournament. But against us, they conceeded 4 goals! In just "one" match! Wow! So much for best defence.

A team like ivory coast that hardly pick balls from D back of their net in so many matches played have the best defence to me. That's putting into consideration their performance at African youth tourney, down to this World cup.

But Putting up teams that have almost dsame number of goals together and single out Nigeria as d team with "arguably" d worst defence amongst the last 8 is wrong and I stand by it.

Let's even talk about d swedish team. They conceaded 3 goals in dat same match, 1 against mexico and iran respectively, therefore on on dsame 5 goals "against" as us. Yet no one is saying their defence is weak! Looking at other teams in d QF, mexico conceeded d highest number off goals, but trust me, their defence is getting better each match.

Am not being too hard on u rather on those who dont read matches but just say trash about technical issues they know nothing about.

Oh sweden just won 2-1 against honduras, this a team that has conceeded 6 goals yet are. In d semi-final already.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Uruguay Fifa U17 World Cup (2 - 0) On 2nd November 2013 by Nextworldnx(m): 2:41pm On Oct 31, 2013
safarigirl: nope, Nigeria's strength is in our attack, our defense is arguably the weakest of the top8, but our attackers(and midfielders to some extent) rarely ever let the opposition get that far. They demoralize them by scoring early goals so only a psychologically strong team can pull all the stops to win us. We already encountered defensively strong teams like Sweden and Iran and defeated them, Uruguay does NOT have a strong defense, but so far they've played teams that have weak attacks and shaky defence, hence their victories. Let the continental battle begin. It's Africa vs. South America on Saturday, at least one African team MUST make SF.
Nope! Madam, our defense aint weak at all. At worst, its at d rating of 6/10. This is the mistake a lot of you are making. U too think because of a few errors against sweden(a technically balance team) that our defense is weak. If u studied our matches against Mexico and Iran,u will notice that we had to soak up early pressure before hitting them on the break. Even after our goals, the pressure mounted and still,we didn't lose steam easily. That to me is a good quality of a stong defense. U probably didn't notice this and that's why u yell at any mis-placed pass(patrotism).

Please try and notice D last man standing(always) behind the back four to take out a loose ball,break-down a counter-attack or take out an opponent who beats the offside trap.

Besides any team who plays a Mass attack and mass defence football will always be difficult to beat.

lexyman: Yes , you are right , but if you had watched the game against Sweden , after Isaac got injured , the awoniyi guy that was introduced find it difficult to find the back of the net , he wasted so many chances , if not for the never die spirit of the team , they fought tirelessly imagine if there was 't iheanacho in that màtch by now those boys will be in there various classrooms . The same thing did happen against Iran , when iheanacho was removed , the attack went blunt again , yahaya have to burn more energy to put pressure on the Iranian . I ' m not saying other department of the team is bad ,as well as other attackers that we have , but @ this point we need our best legs to give us the desired result , because we are playing against South American , they are always tactical and knows how to do the dirty work to get goals ...my wish has't change , still love to see the combination of iheanacho and success again ,they re excellent player but in the 2previous matches yahaya is more than excellent . Imagine having an excellent combination in the Attack against Uruguay it will safe our defense line a lot of stress .
Guy u are very right! ThiS has been a subject of worry even with some of my colleagues here. Success is a Goal poacher any day and it saddens me that we have lost him. With him in that team so far, I swear he would have been on 6/7 goals already. We need our best legs in this last rounds of matches, 'cos u are playing d best of teams remaining in the tournament. Iheanacho should come back o! Or else it will be a very long nite against uruguay. Those boys are tired and jagged presently and they need their best strikers to make their defence work minimal.
