back in d days when boys were terribly broke in school (200level in 2005), i took dis fine chick out but all i had on was 1000 naira. for ma mind i say patapata transport to and fro plus our food no suppose pass dat amount. Na so we reach the eatery, dis girl come order for fried rice plus salad and chicken.. shoi.. naim i ask waiter how much?... waiter con talk say na 600naira angry!!! waiter con ask say "yes, hw about u, what shud i bring for u?" Men, at dat instant, wit 300naira left, i had no choice but to order for just a chicken wing which cost 100naira. D chick was like "is dat all, why dont u eat real food?" I replied "Nah, am ok with just meat and mineral" (big lie, me wey hunger dey fire for belle!). As if devil wan punish me finish dat day, as we were eating and gisting, just after two bites d chicken wing mistakenly dropped from my hands to the floor. Damn!! what dey heck! shud i pick up back or not?(but i go fall ma hand na: immediately ma head and belle con ring and tell me say i beta pick dat thing up, say no food remain for house dis evening o!)....all dis while the chick just dey look me quietly with a calm look on her face embarassed. Damn it, ..i con bone, bend down go under table pick ma precious "last meal" up....anything wey one happen, make e happen. Walahi, e no easy dat day. d shame and falling of hand too much. dat was d last i saw dat chick.

Op, U are a very lucky Guy, ya trust me, u are very lucky. This is not a predicament but a blessing in disguise. I understand how u feel right now because every man wants a Happy marriage where in future he will not develop High BP because of his wife's attitude and decision. The opportunity(which u call problem) bfore u is what many bachelors can only dream of. I will advise u on how to solve this riddle peacefully.

U must understand that so far, d ball has been in ur court and dats why its been difficult for u to make a decision, and blive me, considering d level ur relAtionships are with dis girls now, No man can make a logical pick/decision.
So what do u do?
U push d ball back into their courts and make urself the game or prize to be won. Whoever plays the game best wins u. U see dat way, making a decision at that time becomes easy, why? Because one or two of them will be reluctant or might lose interest or might just show u her true Colour. I will analyse each of them and then step ahead a little further to show u how to push the ball into their courts.

It could be HIV, SS or financial problem, jst anything or problem dat span into the future but is solvable through prayer. Now after telling them the problem,remain sober for atleast for 3 weeks. During that period, don't contact them and don't appear happy as well, just to look real. Observe each of them, during that period and see for urself d true nature of those who claim to love u. After 3 weeks, become ur normal self and observe the last 2 or 1 standing for 3 months.

The Head of Operation and Customer Service is responsible for the management of operations and customer service at a nationwide level. The candidate will be responsible for leading the operations teams across our different products, design and execution of products and solutions to meet current and potential needs of customers. The candidate will be responsible for managing operations for key accounts and ensuring excellent relationships with them to facilitate the business, monitoring the departments’ performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, develop and drive effective and well-synchronised operations and customer service across our products.
Develop relationships with Customs Officials at each of the relevant Commands in Lagos.
Develop close relationships with customers, vendors and client managers.
In conjunction with the Country Sales Manager agree on specific development plans for products, trade lanes and customers.
Establish KPIs and ensure adherence to global/regional/local SOPs
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and systems
Support product development
Responsible for achieving Customer Satisfaction Survey targets.

OPERATIONAL TASKS:
Responsible for delivering on the variable cost targets
Maintain customers informed about cargo and shipments status throughout the export/import processes ensuring that procedures are carried out timely and correctly in order to deliver the agreed services.
Ensure that operating procedures are in place and that a high process mindset is driven at all times to ensure continuous productivity improvements.
Ensure that operations are executed flawlessly and avoid margin deterioration as a result of operational failures.
Act as escalation point on Customs related matters and ensure prompt resolution of disputes/queries, completion of one-off tasks and avoidance of any service disruptions for the Company.
Size up service performance with vendors and other thirds parties to improve service levels
Foster relationship with Key Suppliers at Director Levels and ensure that same is driven in the different levels of the organization at their own levels of regular interaction.
Ensure accurate file estimation, customer invoicing, supplier invoice approvals, resolution of customer or supplier invoice dispute, and file closing
Follow-up on agreed rates, terms, credit and service levels agreed for customers
Manage the development and deployment of operations and customer service processes, guidelines and standards
Ensure each team have client’s SOP in place, update it and establish IOP with relevant parties (truckers, finance team etc).
Conduct relevant benchmarking and analysis to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
Responsible for all client implementations of new business across Nigeria

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
Identify development opportunities for further exploration of new services with current or new customers
Actively promote within our customer base cross selling initiatives as agreed with the Country Sales Manager.
Who we are looking for
Minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in managerial positions in Freight Forwarding Operations.
Proven track record of P&L responsibility.
Proven experience on product design and development.
Project management and process excellence skills
Good communicator and able to develop solid relationships with key suppliers
Good skills in negotiation, evaluation and problem solving
Excellent planning and execution capabilities
Result oriented and self driven
The position requires excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of other languages is helpful.

OUR REQUIREMENTS


UNDERGRADUATE INTERNS MUST:
• Possess a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English in one sitting at O'levels.

• Be currently enrolled in a university.

• Have a minimum of second class upper degree grade in any discipline (CGPA of 3.5/5 or 3/4 for UK and US Schools respectively).

• Have completed at least the second year of university.

• CGPA Transcripts required.

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills; and an ability to work in a team.

• All applicants would be subject to an ‘essay writing’ and interview assessment.


GRADUATE INTERNS MUST:
• Possess a minimum of 5 credits including Maths and English in one sitting at O'levels.

• Have a minimum of second class upper degree grade in any discipline.

• Currently undergoing/pursuing a Post Graduate degree program.

• Pass the KPMG Graduate Aptitude test.

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills; and an ability to work in a team.


DURATION
The internship period for each student is at least 6 weeks and at most 24 weeks. The KPMG summer Internship Program runs yearly from May through September. However, selection is based on performance and subject to manpower availability.

1.) AUDITOR II / AUDITOR I

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate shall demonstrate evidence of possessing effective communication skills, flair for figures and analyses of data and the use of same to arrive at objective conclusion.
He shall have knowledge of accounting and auditing systems and be ready to deploy the knowledge in making value added recommendations in identified internal control issues.
He shall be required to further demonstrate competence in the use of IT tools for word processing spread sheet and audit interrogations; and to assist the Chief Audit Executive with unhindered mental independence to advise on risk management, governance and control.

2.) SENIOR AUDITOR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate is required to perform the above responsibilities at a higher capacity.
He should show ability to develop internal audit programme for an audit assignment and provide supervisory role when leading an internal audit assignment.

3.) DIRECTOR OF AUDIT

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
He shall serve as the Chief Audit Executive who shall perform advanced level professional internal auditing work as a key component of the University governance structure.
The work involves directing a comprehensive audit programme including performance, financial and compliance audit projects, providing consulting services to the University Management and staff,
Providing direction to development of Annual Audit Plan;and providing on-going training, coaching and supervision to internal audit staff. He shall maintain perversion organizational and professional ethical standards; and works independently with extension latitude for Initiative and Independent judgment.
The candidate must be a registered/chartered member of recognized Accounting/Auditing body; and In addition have at least fifteen (15) years post qualification experience, substantial part of which must have been in a University or comparable Institution of higher learning.

The candidates must possess good honours degree in Accountancy/Banking and Finance from a recognized University or Institution and must be computer literate.

4) JOB TITLE: UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN
The University Librarian is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administration of the University Library and the co-ordination of the Library services in the University.
He is also responsible for the short, medium and long term planning, administration and expansion of collections and services of the Library and their maintenance at a level to meet the teaching, research and all programmes of the University.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The candidates must possess a good honours degree/masters degree and a Ph.D in Library and Information Science.
He/she should have at least fifteen (15) years post graduation and professional experience.
Membership of the Nigerian Library Association is required
Candidates are expected to be a person(s) with good leadership qualities who can Inspire and motivate staff under them;

5) JOB TITLE: BURSAR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University and responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates must possess a good first degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics or Financial Management
Candidates must have had at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience in the University system.
Possession of a higher degree will bean added advantage.
Candidates are expected to be a person(s) with good leadership qualities who can Inspire and motivate staff under them;
Candidates are expected to be a person(s) of high integrity, who promotes merit
Candidates are expected to be a person(s) who enjoy excellent physical and mental health;
Candidates are expected to be a person(s) who are focused and Innovative; and
Candidates are expected to be Computer literate.
Candidates must also belong to one of the following Accounting Bodies:
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Association of Corporate and Certificate Accountants.
Institute of Cost and Management Accountants.
Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
Institute of Chartered Accountants of United Kingdom, Scotland or Ireland (UK Bodies.)

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
