Odidigboigbo:Is CBN not an agency under the executive arm of the federal government? Is the CBN not governed by the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria? Is the CBN Governor an outlaw that won’t respect the rule of law? Did the Supreme Court judgement not specifically mention CBN? Let’s be guided please . |
Nfora:Pained mofo typing all sorts of shit against the Apex court of the country. Most of you Obi supporters are clowns and local breeds. The judgement would be respected and complied by CBN and Buhari. You and your likes will be put to total shame. |
opeldavid:Most of you Obi supporters speak and act unintelligently. You won’t do a proper study before you make insensible comments. How did Tinubu lose with large margin in Katsina, Kaduan, Lagos, Kano? Even though lost in those states, he never lost with wide margin. |
FreedomArmy:Can you make comments like someone who is educated? Whatever the monetary policy of CBN or fiscal policy by federal government that’s at variance with the provisions of the constitution becomes “ultra-vires, null and void “. We are practicing a constitutional democracy in which rule of law reigns supreme. No devilish Buhari or hydra headed devil Emefiele can do to vary or flout the judgement of the Apex Court that’s constitutionally empowered to interpret the law or better still saddled with the responsibility of interpretation of the constitution especially when it has to do with disagreement between states of the federation and the federal government. If Buhari flagrantly flouts the Supreme Court judgement, it will be a good ground for the National Assembly to institute an Impeachment proceedings against him. For Emefiele, he will be jailed for “contempt” of the supreme court. Same applies to Mallami, the minister of justice. |
Massiveglory:De play!!! Day dreaming and wishful thought are allowed. Na go still cry the second time. |
reiddecuti:1974 or 1983/84. Check your history book before you cap next time Obi supporter. My grouse with you Obi supporters is your overnight support for the incompetent Buhari and hydra headed devil Emefiele. You guys thought the policy was meant to stiffen Tinubu of funds so as not to mobilize. You guys failed woefully and you now crying wolf. |
reiddecuti:1974 or 1983/84. Check your history book before you cap next time Obingo. My grouse with you Obingos is your overnight support for the incompetent Buhari and hydra headed devil Emefiele. You guys thought the policy was meant to stiffen Tinubu of funds so as not to mobilize. You guys failed woefully and you now crying wolf. |
Thegamingorca:You are very dumb… your Emefiele will not even dare in his miserable life to flout the judgement of the Supreme Court. He will be charged for contempt of the apex court. |
ecolime:Obingo family, only God knows when you guys will recover from the blow the last Saturday election dent you guys with bloody nose. Supreme Court has given verdict and you can kill yourself or leave Nigeria if it doesn’t pleases you. Not even Buhari the slowpoke president nor the dementia Emefiele will upturn the verdict of the Supreme Court as it were. |
Massiveglory:Oga rest… you Obigons made too much boast than this before the election last Saturday. After you were beaten to stupor, you guys composed a senseless lyric of ‘rigging’. |
Seyiemath: |
Fut9ure:Jester!! So if he’s announced as the eventual winner , who are you to stop that? You guys just full of yourself and make empty threats. You better go get a life after election. |
Crysallis:Ain’t you guys ashamed of yourself with spurious and petty allegations you making against INEC just because results doesn’t align with your imaginary thoughts? You guys are worse than whatever you criticize. In your figment of imagination, Obi should’ve won this election on a platter of gold right? You guys are very shameless and bunch of hypocrites. |
Massiveglory:Don’t just hear… try to confirm and ask for evidence threat you can post hear instead of hearsay and figment of imagination |
If people normal how can obasonjo in Ogun statue stop a truck in kaduna, charly boy drug dealer weed strong [/ Most of Obi supporters are just something else. They are highly impulsive and act mostly on their figment of imaginations. Some things are just too crass for any objective mind to believe. |
AfricanColumbus:I’m sure you stated all these out of sheer ignorance or possibly selfishness. Let me refer you to the basics. Go pick up any secondary school government textbook and read carefully the content of the topic “separation of powers”. It is crystal clear that the Judiciary when making “Judicial Reviews” can declare any law made by the legislative arm or policy made by the executive that contravenes the constitution itself which is the “grundnorm” as “ultra-vires, null and void with no effect or whatsoever “. Please seek knowledge on issues before you delve into them next time. Some of us are students of history, politics and law. |
SpecialAdviser:With no hatred Obi won’t win the forthcoming presidential election even if Buhari and the useless CBN governor decide to cancel all the naira notes. He won’t even come a distant third position. |
Saifullah01:Even if PMB and CBN retrieve all the existing and non exciting notes from circulation, your Obi won’t still win votes beyond south eastern and probably few south south states. Stop deluding yourself about Obi winning. I hope after all this pains Buhari caused masses, if your candidate Gregory doesn’t you won’t cry wolf? |
Jashub:Do you even sound intelligent at all? An apex court verdict or subordinate courts rulings shouldn’t be flouted. Is it because Buhari’s broadcast suits your fancy then democracy should be under threat? Some of you are double faced humans who speak from both sides of your mouth. |
Now......this visit is misplaced. They should visit and commiserate with the sitting governor, not ex-governor. I do not support this visit to Jagaban. Sanwo-Olu is the first citizen of Lagos and the visit should be to him. The fact that you disagree with it doesn't change anything. why do some of you think you know more than everybody? The senators are not dummies and if Sanwoolu were to be the person on their plan to visit they will and not an hater of Tinubu like you disagreeing or agreeing on whom they are meant to visit. |
Lovelyn451:Perhaps, you didn't read in between the lines of the speech. He stated clearly that a smaller unit of the military and not the military as a whole. Maybe you have to read carefully again to spot that particular line. More so, he would not have mentioned any other institution than the politicians in military toga who annuled the fairest and freest election in the Political Lexicon of this great country. |
Davash222:why is your life so full of hate and biles? the man vent his own opinion just like some of you haters and wailers will. You children of hate who complain of certain things that are not right are more guilty of those things. |
fyneguy:When you won't pay attention to details but just spew gibberish out your premeditated feeble mindset. Your hatred has eroded every common sense and deep thoughts from the very fibre of your intellectual prowess, if at all there is any. Read the details to see if any of the five states are of the Northern extraction. All the aforementioned five states are from the Southern region. For the record, Osun and Ondo from South-West. Cross River, Bayelsa and Rivers state from the South-South. |
Xmuslim:Please tell her oooo. all these religiously dogmatic fellows who in spite of the education they acquired allow religious sentiments becloud their common sense and sense of objectivity. what's the big deal to adhere to common guideline to just safe us all from being infected by the highly contagious virus? |
I can't agree more with you. The manner at which religion is employed as an instrument of manipulation in this part of the world makes one wonder why most NIGERIANs subjugated their rational sense of reasoning to religion dogmatism. omoiyamayor: |
Politics according to a renowned scholar named HAROLD LASWEL, is a science of who gets WHAT, WHEN and HOW. Politics in the local parlance is also believed to be a game of NUMBER. Perhaps, reason why most of our Political leaders can do anything possible to amass the electoral numbers that will catapult them to Political victory and highly revered political positions. They deploy all weapons at their disposal to actualise their vested Political interests at every material point in time in which RELIGION and ETHNICITY are not left out. Nigerian politicians accross party line have perfected the act of patronising religious leaders and institutions alike just in a desperate bid to whip up primordial sentiments and in extension curry favour and garner electoral numbers from various religion congregations through the religious leaders. Ethnicity as a weapon deployed by politicians in Nigeria across board is not also different from that of religion. Politicians have perfected the act of playing ethnic cards just to feather their nest of political glory. They do this through the aid of sychophantic traditional leaders whose sense of reasoning and objectivity have been eroded and clouded by the little crumbs they are fed with by the politicians. These two(religion and ethnicity) dangerous weapons are also manipulated by Nigerian politicians to play a divide and rule tatics which ensure the masses can never form any unity of purpose amongst themselves to the extent of challenging or distorting the warped structure of Political elites. Perhaps, poverty and illiteracy might be responsible for why the masses of Nigeria can't see beyond their feets. The latest relaxation of temporary ban on religious activities in some states in Nigeria by wicked governors in the midst of COVID-19 gives any sensible person a lot of cause for concern. Why on earth should the governors succumb to emotional blackmail and relentless pressure from selfish religious leaders? Your guess is as good as mine. However, one cannot deny the fact that some wonderful state Governors didn't succumb to this wicked blackmail because they are very passionate about lives of their citizens. Those Governors that succumb should know very well that posterity shall judge them accordingly. If per chance (God forbids), the spread of Covid-19 escalates beyond proportion and this country is overwhelmed, we only hope those thougtless and selfish Political leaders and religious leaders alike will own up to responsibility and won't shy away to only turn the table against the innocent ones amongst them. Patriotic and sensible Nigerians are taking note and without gloating or praying for evil day, we shall remind them of their misdeeds and thoughtlessness of grandeur. If the Vertican city in Rome can be under lock and keys, or the holy mosques in Mecca and Medina closed, just to ensure people don't gather in multitudes all in the bid to practice their religion injuctions, then, something must be wrong with some religiosly dogmatic Nigerians.
