PoliticsRe: Nigerian Soldier Removing An Explosive Device Buried By Insurgents (photo) by Ngasky(m): 2:43pm On Jul 25, 2015
good publicity. this is what military should be encouraging so that people will believe in them not the harassment we witness at the road blocks.
a good public awareness and community development should be mounted by the public relations unit of the army
military personnel can make themselves darlings of the local community by doing simple things. i can remember the flooding that took away the bridge linking Danfodio University and the rest of Sokoto/Nigeria at that time it is just 7 km from the campus to main town but one has to drive into Niger republic and pass 2-3 states in Niger republic before entering Nigeria through katsina State. hudred of kilometers but whatdid the military do?
they built a mini half floating metal bridge in less than 2 days from scratch and that mini bridge was the only link for motorist for about a year before the main bridge was restored and only then they dismantle their bridge and return to their barrack in Sokoto.
also in the olden days if there is any misunderstanding between civilians the agrieved party will just meet the first military personnel he came about and report to him and in 98% that personal will be the mediator and settle them amicable without any favor or bribe.
also before when passing a checkpoint you will see civilians exchanging banters with military because they are very friendly in fact you will see a villager going to check point and sitting with them for the whole day gisting with them. now imagine if such person happened to see or heard something of security implication or anything unusual what will he do? definitely tell his friends (army)

PoliticsRe: It's Ridiculous To Probe Only Jonathan’s Govt - Ondo PDP Tells Buhari by Ngasky(m): 3:34pm On Jul 24, 2015
my question to PDP is " What is stealing? does it mean corruption today? "
if you have any document on previous administrations what stops you from prosecuting them?
also all previous corruption cases were buried in their administration so where are the dossiers?
my last question is for legal professionals do you know that there is limit to timeframe for prosecution of juditial arraignment? I read in the constitution of Nigeria it is 10 years after crime how did you want that to be circumvented by the New administration?

PoliticsRe: Buhari Will Probe Jonathan’s Govt Only; Not Obasanjo’s, Others – Presidency by Ngasky(m): 8:31am On Jul 24, 2015
I believe in one Nigeria but one where there is justice, fairness & equity. For me, Buhari should hand over to an Igbo man if Igbos are truly part of Nigeria. We are part of the big three and too big to be ignored.
politics is a game you have to plan ahead. the igbos missed their chance in goodluck.
Now from the north it is going to the south west and then north again then if possible to the SE.
likewise if they have succeeded in returning GEJ it would still go to the north then south west then north again before possibly going to the east
what is the way out? i doubt any quick fix to the agitation
i am confused was jonathans government not an SE/Igbo ticket?
the northerners saw themselves as North first before being NE/NW/NC so it doesn't matter who is there but the south are divided why? we have different ethnicity both in the South and the North.
Now to the igbo candidacy tell me a single igbo person that will be acceptable to just 70% of the whole country not only east. put your house in order before asking others to believe in you
democracy is a game of numbers not hatered
I have 3 antivirus on my lappy.. Avast, smadav and one window av sha...
Pls how do i go abt it..?

that is the cause of your problems.
first if you can install an uninstaller software on your computer it will be better to do it with that.
if you cant then try the following
go to add/remove program and uninstall all the antivirusses
then go to run and type msconfig and then press enter it will open a dialog page
be careful here go to services and look at the programs make sure all the antivirus there were stopped and you may see other softwares that you may have uninstall before eg corel and pdf application make sure any software that was removed you stopped it there
still in the dialog click on startup and do the same thing
then save it will ask you to restart say not now/later
open my computer go to hard disc you will see folders go to program folder and open it you'll see folders of all your installed programs go to those of antiviruses and change the names of those folders to anything you like
now restart your computer
after starting the dialog will pop up by itself click on start normal and ok it will try to restart again but click not now/later
open hard disk then program folder and go to those folders you renamed earlier and delete them. then restart your computer again
try that and tell me whether the problem has been solved if not you have to edit your registry and ill tell you how to do that also
Christianity EtcRe: Tithing Is The Investment Of Investments. by Ngasky(m): 7:01am On Jul 18, 2015
i thought Christians believe Jesus came to abolish the old laws of Moses.
all the laws of Moses were abandoned by them except the tithe and i wonder why the exception?
i want to be informed about any other law of the old testament that is encouraged by the priests apart from the tithe law.
also i read in the bible that tithe should only be given once a year not monthly, please lets use this forum for enlightenment
ComputersRe: Freezing Laptop by Ngasky(m): 6:42am On Jul 18, 2015
how many antivirus did you install on it? don't install more than one.
even if you uninstall the old one before installing new one both remains in your system.
uninstalling antivirus is a little bit difficult and it makes your computer to became very slow if you have more than one antivirus

PoliticsTerrorism And Poverty: Correlation ? by Ngasky(op): 10:50am On Jul 17, 2015
Poverty does not create terrorists. A lack of Western education does not fester terror. These popular misconceptions need to be reviewed. We are being disrespectful and disingenuous when we falsely accuse the poor or Western-uneducated of being prone to terror. I am proud to belong to the poor group. Whatever I make financially, I quickly distribute and usually have an empty account, often needing to borrow money. We poor folk are not terrorists. While in college, many were beaten and threatened to join confraternities. most never did were not more Western-educated than their colleagues who signed up with those college terror organisations. they only had a better moral grounding and more fear of God. I knew that man must not harm and kill for stupid reasons or parade in the bush and beat and cut one another with the same knife in blood brotherhood. It is on record that many founders of Boko Haram were graduates of University of Maiduguri. They were educated. A recent International Center for Investigative Journalism report has shown that the affluent and sons of wealthy members of society contribute to terror. The 2003 research by Claude Berrebi from Princeton found that 57% of suicide bombers in Palestine have some education beyond high school, whereas only 15% of that population-age attend college. Of bombers, only 15% were from impoverished homes. These are important facts to be considered by Buhari and Osinbajo when addressing the terror that pervades our society, north and south. This important piece I pen today is the conclusion of an ENDS thought session. We must address the right issues, or we will continue to encourage rather than discourage terror in our society. Respect the poor, fight inequality What we mistake to be poverty is institutional injustice. The recruits are not the poor, but the disenfranchised, the frustrated, the oppressed. This is the pool Shekau, Dokubo and Nnamdi Kanu recruit from. Happens to be the same pool occupied by the poor, but the reason they are easy recruits is not because they are poor but because they feel cheated. They are angry. They see senators flying private jets, living in mansions, dividing up N150 billion while they live in squalor. This was the real pitch of “Boko Haram,” perhaps the only pitch. They explained that the social injustice was due to our adoption of “Western civilization”. I remember reading one of their only actual explanations for their campaign. It was a post on their then-Facebook page. Boko Haram explained that the disparity between the affluent, the cabal, the senators and the poor masses was the result of our adoption of Western civilization systems. They pitched that the Islamic civilization governance would be fairer to the people. Borno has literally always been economically poor and low in education, but the state has never been known for terror, hence the plate number slug: “Home of peace.” And remember former governor Sheriff indignantly insulting: “publish all the slander you may, my people do not read.” We must respect the poor. What we must fight is the injustice, the inequality. The poor and poor nations across the world are not bedeviled with terror. Nations with identical religious divides as Nigeria do not share our terror, nor do those with identical educational records. Someone sinister sponsors terror, and terror capitalizes on injustice and state dysfunction. These are the facts we must focus on. The Occupy Wall Street protests of “the 99% against the 1%” cabal that transpired in the US and the UK and got violent happened not because of poverty but because of injustice. Had the security system not clamped down violently on the demonstrators, we remember London was up in flames and terror, as Cameron called it, those nations will be history by now. In my recent write-up on my visit to the UAE , I described another way; a society where there is perceived institutional justice, where Direct democracy is practiced, and there is peace, tranquility and progress. Blessed Jesus is quoted to have said: “The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.” He did not say the poor will be evil and terrorists. There is a map making rounds that tries to associate poverty with terror in Nigeria. Boko Haram is located in Borno for many other reasons: terrain, resource competition and control, inequality, francophone conspirator border nations, and the like. Nigeria’s class system birthed Boko Haram? It is said that Benin is capital of trafficking in women. This is not because of poverty but because of the class system that operates there. Same as in parts of the North: if you are not from a certain family and social class, you are condemned to social disadvantage. The Boko Haram leader saw that not being of the preferred clan or ethnic group, he was nothing. This is why he took to terror, to establish himself as “something”. Nnamdi Kanu is taking advantage of the same and gaining fellow aggrieved, disadvantaged and oppressed disciples as potential terrorists. The root cause of terror, north and south in Nigeria is our executive government, our legislative arm; our dysfunctional, corrupt judiciary. So long as they corner the nation’s wealth and display this, oppressing the masses, there will be new offshoots of terror. The people see the government partnering with the cabal billionaires, so-called entrepreneurs cheating them and us, exploiting us through various business schemes and unfair government- promoted oligopolies. If the masses believe there is justice, but that the nation is not wealthy and that is why there is suffering, they will not be attracted to terror groups that pretend to be saviours. We may never be able to make every Nigerian rich, but we can stop the cheating. Fight the inequality, kill the terror.

PoliticsRe: What Boko Haram Will Most Likely Demand From Buhari by Ngasky(m): 11:58am On Jul 09, 2015
are you a member of the group?
they may ask for number 1 and somehow number 3
number 2 will never come from them because they have different ideology than the terrorist of the Southern Nigeria
number 4 why will they testify? what are they going to benefit from that?
number 5 if they want that they will never negotiate with government of Nigeria
number 6 is mumbo jumbo Israel is a state they dont like its internal policy on Palestine but they won't ask for that, why? because the relationship between Nigeria and Israel is minimal at best. tell me 3 areas of cooperation between the two states ( physical )
number 7 they wouldn't like to move the non Muslims because they believe they will became Muslims in the future. they may insist on total banning of alcohol and prostitution. already prostitution is banned in the constitution of Nigeria and alcohol is limited to very few spots in the North e.g mami markets and barracks
number 8 they will definitely want sharia. but did you know that our constitution is derived from sharia? the civil law is derived from British law but the criminal law is derived from Sudan and that is Islamic law (many people are not aware of this )
number 9 special intervention is not their priority so they cant ask for that.
PoliticsRe: Moving Boko Haram Prisoners Is Like Spreading The Ebola Virus'' -afenifere by Ngasky(m): 11:24am On Jul 09, 2015
my question is does prison service in Nigeria transfers inmates?
if yes how did the media know these are boko haram suspects i don't think so far there's more than 10 convicted BH members.
does being a northern criminal amount to being a member of the group?
we have thousands of criminals from that part of the country here (North) in prisons what shall we do with them? 80% of armed robbers in detention are from the certain zone and BH and Armed Robbery are the same they kill innocent victims so what is the difference?
