Politics / Re: Nairaland Is Not Biafra Radio by Ngozi123(f): 8:12pm On Dec 30, 2023 |
QuotaSystem: The Op complained that the host of Radio Biafra hasn't been attacked despite its alleged tribalist content. I said that Nnamdi Kanu (who was the show's original host) is in prison now. I also asked her if that's what she would like to happen to Seun. I never said that Seun is responsible for what other people comment here. I said that he is responsible for what is shared on this platform. He is the owner and he has the power to remove tribalist content (or to employ capable mods who can do so). 1 Like |

Omoawoke: That's nice. (1)You said that Igbos don't go to school. (2) He proved you wrong. (3) You then posted a picture of a chest-beating gorilla. Does that seem logical to you? 1 Like |

QuotaSystem: At the end of the day, just as the Op alludes to in her post, the owner is responsible for what is permitted to be shared on their platform. If Radio Biafra should be judged in the same manner as Nairaland then Nairaland should be judged in the same manner of Radio Biafra or is that not the point the Op is trying to make? 1 Like |

Omoawoke: You accuse the Igbos of not going to school. He proves you wrong. You then go on to show an image of a chest-beating gorilla. If Nairaland was a non-tribalist platform then this thread wouldn't see the light of day. 1 Like |

Nnamdi Kanu is in prison. Do you propose that Seun be sent to prison too? 2 Likes |

@OP, this is a really good idea. However, I would advise that you set this up away from Nairaland (and prying eyes). 1 Like |

Seun: You need a PR manager because this post you've put up here is a PR disaster. You're supposed to be addressing tribalism yet you've come out here and targeted a particular region of the country. You said that those accusing you of tribalism should provide proof. Well, this post is hard evidence right here. You've exposed yourself big time here. 6 Likes |

TemplarLandry: I've been wondering what caused all of this but that makes perfect sense. Yorubas and Igbos have been bashing each other here for years yet nothing had come of it. Some people here need to behave themselves. You're not anonymous here. |

Business / Re: I Want To Leave For Lagos Soon I Need Advice by Ngozi123(f): 2:54pm On Dec 18, 2023 |
Elstan20: How much can you pay in one year for house rent in Lagos? Minus that from your 2 million. Now, try and budget the rest of your expenses for that year. How much of that 2 million will be left over? What's the competition like in your sector? Have you got any contacts? How likely are you to be scammed? Have you got a fall back plan in case that happens? We need more people to invest in agriculture in the South-East, especially in Ebonyi State. |
Business / Re: I Want To Leave For Lagos Soon I Need Advice by Ngozi123(f): 2:29pm On Dec 18, 2023 |
Elstan20: No, I don't think that. I just think that your money could be better served in the East. Ebonyi State, where you're from, is great for agriculture and you said that you want to enter the food sector. With only 2 million, it just makes more sense to scope some farming land in Ebonyi, buy it and start your business from there. |

Elstan20: With only 2 million, you'd be taking a huge risk going to Lagos. Go back to the South-East and invest in agriculture there. You're from Ebonyi State; that's a perfect place to start. 1 Like |

dozzymorinho: When some Igbo people came out to criticise Tinubu prior to the election, many of his (Yoruba) supporters said that it was because he's Yoruba. APC made this into a tribal thing, no one else. |

dozzymorinho: You just insulted all Igbo people in one of your comments above so why are you upset when one insults you back? |
Politics / Re: Since A Yoruba Man Became President Why Are People Facing The Yorubas by Ngozi123(f): 4:23pm On Dec 15, 2023 |
JagabanB: Clearly, those statements were targeted at the Yoruba Tinubu supporters who (because of tribalism) chose to vote in someone who was not suited for the presidency. You even allude to it in your commen here. |

1TrippleCee: That's nice. You're clearly not from Anioma as an Anioma person (even one who does not speak Igbo fluently) would know the difference between "Ala Igbo" and "Onye Igbo". Thank you kindly |

1TrippleCee: Your post makes no sense. Go to Google translate and check what you just wrote. My grandmother was from one of the most prominent families in Anioma land and was a proud Igbo woman. So, as I said before, speak for yourself. Thank you kindly . |
