You know why this is interesting

You had to rely on Statisense owned by a Yoruba man to make your claim on Nairaland owned by a Yoruba man. This is an evidence of a more educated people using their education for real life things.
Last time we say the region with the highest internet users topped by southwestern states, that’s an evidence of literacy.

Please what’s the evidence of your education beyond statistics that was cooked to massage your ego.

The one I found on Wikipedia is old but it still lists southwestern states ahead of you all

What’s the evidence of the statistics, what do you do better in the east? The concentration of Nigeria best schools and professors are littered all over southwestern states.

Why have you quoted me?
Politics / Re: Nairaland Is Not Biafra Radio by Ngozi123(f): 8:12pm On Dec 30, 2023

Nope.

Nnamdi Kanu isn’t being held responsible for what he permitted others to say or share on his platform, but what he said & directed on the Radio Biafra platform.

Same way Seun wouldn’t be held responsible for what others post or share on his platform, but what he posts/shares.

The Op complained that the host of Radio Biafra hasn't been attacked despite its alleged tribalist content.

I said that Nnamdi Kanu (who was the show's original host) is in prison now. I also asked her if that's what she would like to happen to Seun.

I never said that Seun is responsible for what other people comment here. I said that he is responsible for what is shared on this platform. He is the owner and he has the power to remove tribalist content (or to employ capable mods who can do so).

There’s absolute nothing that hasn’t been achieved in southeast that has not been achieved else where in multiple folds. But you guys beat the chest so loud that it echos round the entire Africa.
Can you mention one thing that shows that southeast is best in education? Nothing, absolute nothing!

That's nice.

(1)You said that Igbos don't go to school.
(2) He proved you wrong.
(3) You then posted a picture of a chest-beating gorilla.

Does that seem logical to you?

Reason behind his caveat.

At the end of the day, just as the Op alludes to in her post, the owner is responsible for what is permitted to be shared on their platform. If Radio Biafra should be judged in the same manner as Nairaland then Nairaland should be judged in the same manner of Radio Biafra or is that not the point the Op is trying to make?

I won’t let you derail this thread.

I will engage you in another

Meanwhile;

You accuse the Igbos of not going to school. He proves you wrong. You then go on to show an image of a chest-beating gorilla. If Nairaland was a non-tribalist platform then this thread wouldn't see the light of day.

Nnamdi Kanu is in prison. Do you propose that Seun be sent to prison too?

Politics / Re: Allegations Of Tribalism Against Me & Nairaland by Ngozi123(f): 11:27am On Dec 30, 2023
Seun:
I would like to address the allegations on Twitter about tribalism on Nairaland or that I am some kind of tribalist, because I was told that not addressing them means that they are true.

The more extreme variants of that claim are being pushed primarily by south-eastern tribalists who feel that south-western tribalists have the upper hand on Nairaland in their battles with each other.

Whenever they are banned after breaking rule 2 of Nairaland, they will go back to Twitter to lament about how Nairaland is against their tribe and how I'm personally working against them.

I urge you to disregard any accusation against me or against Nairaland if the accusers cannot prevent hard evidence to support their claims. These people make things up, and people just believe them.

For avoidance of doubt, I have always been a supporter and admirer of south-eastern people. I will never have any tribalistic bone in my body. I am a human who views people as humans first.

The micro-kernel of truth in the mountain of lies is that Nairaland is under-staffed. The staff I have do not moderate as efficiently as I want them to. They also struggle with following my instructions.

So if you go to Nairaland looking for tribalism, you will find it in certain areas, just as you will if you search Twitter for tribalism, because of people whose main business online is tribal trolling.

However, I want Nairaland to be better than Twitter. I want to improve the consistency of moderation on Nairaland. For this reason, I am in the process of recruiting more people to help.

You need a PR manager because this post you've put up here is a PR disaster.

You're supposed to be addressing tribalism yet you've come out here and targeted a particular region of the country.

You said that those accusing you of tribalism should provide proof. Well, this post is hard evidence right here.

You've exposed yourself big time here.

Anti-Israeli posts did.
Antisemitic agenda will no longer be tolerated.

I've been wondering what caused all of this but that makes perfect sense. Yorubas and Igbos have been bashing each other here for years yet nothing had come of it.

Some people here need to behave themselves. You're not anonymous here.

Business / Re: I Want To Leave For Lagos Soon I Need Advice by Ngozi123(f): 2:54pm On Dec 18, 2023
Elstan20:

I can't remember telling you I want to farm

How much can you pay in one year for house rent in Lagos? Minus that from your 2 million. Now, try and budget the rest of your expenses for that year. How much of that 2 million will be left over?

What's the competition like in your sector? Have you got any contacts? How likely are you to be scammed? Have you got a fall back plan in case that happens?

We need more people to invest in agriculture in the South-East, especially in Ebonyi State.

Elstan20:

Be decieving yourself you all think that going to Lagos means I will be going to a part of it higher than my pocket

Keep fooling yourself

No, I don't think that. I just think that your money could be better served in the East. Ebonyi State, where you're from, is great for agriculture and you said that you want to enter the food sector. With only 2 million, it just makes more sense to scope some farming land in Ebonyi, buy it and start your business from there.

I already said foodstuff business

With only 2 million, you'd be taking a huge risk going to Lagos. Go back to the South-East and invest in agriculture there. You're from Ebonyi State; that's a perfect place to start.

We all are suffering it, but it shouldn't mean that we should be criticize for having a Yoruba president

When some Igbo people came out to criticise Tinubu prior to the election, many of his (Yoruba) supporters said that it was because he's Yoruba. APC made this into a tribal thing, no one else.

You can see again this same thing am talking about, what has insult got to do with peace, you don't to stop this mindset, if not we will continue enjoying bad government, do you think if things continues like this, that they will ever be an igbo President, of course because those bad government in the top won't allow it, this wrinkly old bastard that doesn't want to retire, but all the youth from all tribes comes together and fight for revolution we will win and take back our country

You just insulted all Igbo people in one of your comments above so why are you upset when one insults you back?

So statements like "ronu people cañ't eat now", "ronu people are regretting now, we told them, tribaIism didn't allow them" are all aimed at Tinubu?
Why u people love Iîes so much in this country?

Clearly, those statements were targeted at the Yoruba Tinubu supporters who (because of tribalism) chose to vote in someone who was not suited for the presidency. You even allude to it in your commen here.

Is not like that, the way igbos are now treating Yoruba in their land is really bad, but you can see how they are dominating the south west that they don't like, this Igbo people are really nepotic and selfish

You just said tribalism is killing Nigeria and then you post this... You're also killing Nigeria.

Wetin concern people from south east with Yoruba matters now..You crossed Delta, Edo, Ondo and Ogun before reaching Lagos.
I still see it as a family affairs and Yorubas knows how to settle themselves. If you are not from the south west, keep off...its a family affairs..
Look at it, you can't remove Lagos from ijebu land..Awujale(king) of ijebuland owns the whole of Epe up to Lekki in Lagos state.fyi, the political headquarter of ijebus is ijebu ode in Ogun state.

You're right. It is none of our business and we have our own issues to face. I hope you will say the same whenever a Yoruba poster goes to comment on an Igbo/minority SS thread?
