You guys need to appreciate Hope Uzodinma.
He understands politics. Most of you don't.
Politics is not only about your Academic IQ but also your Social IQ.

Igbos keep screaming marginalization because while others are building social influence in the political hemisphere, they want to prove they can do without others. Yet the result keep speaking for itself.

Like all things, time justifies all.

Understand someone like Uzodinma? As you have said this, may someone like Hope Uzodinma be elected as your state's Governor and do to you and your family what he has done to Imo people. Iseeeeeee!

So howfar Alex Otti and Soludo? I thought they must have turned their states to London now if it's that fast and easy. You are still waiting for a magician. You guys like illusion.

Did I mention your tribe? Did I mention your state? Why don't you go and fix your own issues before you start commenting on us?

I'm happy to hear that you're feeling better. Kidney problems are common in Nigeria and more research needs to be done to find out why.

For all of those claiming that there's good in every tribe, would you be saying the same if the op was villifying the Igbos?

This should be taken to the front page.

The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu I know will always stand for democracy.

The elderly Igbo man removed from office in Gabon after an atrocious third-term agenda is the immediate responsibility of the sub region of Central Africa, sincerely speaking, it's not the job of Asiwaju, Nigeria or Ecowas.

We have our own issues in Nigeria and ECOWAS and it's not like our Igbo brothers here in Nigeria care. Check my signature for free stuffs!

Did he tell you he was Igbo?

You people love to jump up and down when people like Wike tell you they're not Igbo. Keep the same energy here.

This is why we need a union. Anyone in that particular state can join the union, pay an affordable monthly subscription and all the proceeds from that subscription would go towards the campaign funds of an elected leader.

All expenditure and use of membership fees, donations etc should be recorded online, with an independent watchdog hired to monitor it.
Politics / Re: Hope Uzodinma And The Illusion Of A Second Term By Dumebi Ifeanyichukwu by Ngozi123(f): 11:29am On Aug 30, 2023
He needs to go. I implore all Igbo men and women to start clearing out the trash in our political class now. We need to form a union, elect someone to represent us, fund their application fees and get them to represent us on the national scale. Our lands need to be governed for the people, by the people.

This is the only way to put an end to the godfathers and sabos in Igboland.

Ignore them. Focus on our people and our growth. The real problem we have are the sabos that make up a huge chunk of our political class. Get rid of them and we will prosper.

Coal, oil and gas are some of the natural reserves in Igboland and when we get our own republic, we should start making use of them. However, they are all non-renewable energy resources and imo, should only be used for industrial purposes.

We should start researching which types renewable energy are viable in our lands so that we can use them for day-to-day purposes.

We are dealing with your menace subtly. If you pay attention to the enforcement actions of the building agencies in Lagos, you will notice.

But that is even pale in comparison to the psychological damage that the dismissal of Peter Obi's petition will have on you igbos.

Keep your crassness and hubris up. Yoruba will deal with you systematically.

You expose yourself with each post. From pretending to be a former Obi supporter (in order to seem more credible in your denigration of his character) to advocating the expulsion of the Igbos from Lagos... All of this in just a few posts cheesy

I will be fine, so will millions of Nigerians. Why do you think i wont be fine?

So because i am chatting with you on nairaland, you presume i am poor? Do you know who i am?

Igbos dont feed me in real life as i have no business dealings with them. Even with the battered state of the Nigerian economy, most yorubas will never suffer to the extent of begging igbos for food. If you disturb us too much, we will enact policies to frustrate your business and chase you back to your evil forest in the East.

Not a single Nigerian in this economy will tell you they're fine, except they're a ritualist or corrupt politician. Keep suffering and smiling... smiley

Please talk to your leaders. We dont want you in Yoruba land anymore. Even with the hospitality and love shown to you, Igbos still hate yorubas.

We (educated yorubas, majorly Christians) supported Peter Obi wholeheartedly in the past election but Tinubu robbed him. What have your leaders said or done about the daylight robbery? What levers of power have they pulled for Peter Obi? All we get is hate because Tinubu cheated Peter Obi.

I guess we yorubas are damned if we do and damned if we dont for you Igbos right?

Please fix the SE and leave yoruba land. That is what we want.

If you want to be dictating which Nigerians enter or leave Yoruba land then perhaps you should secede. You can't have your cake and eat it two.

So you think with the way i write and my insight, i will suffer? Why do you igbos think only other tribes will suffer bad governance?

Even if Igbos are better than the average Hausa man, i refuse to accept that you are better than the average yoruba man. We have a strong, virile region and a young and educated youth population. Buying and selling in 2 by 2 shops in the SW region does not make you better than the next yoruba man. Yorubas can destroy your enterprise with a stroke of the pen. We lead the services sector of the Nigerian economy and we are head and shoulders above igbos. You igbos can only insult and malign the muslim North because they are not educated and attuned with the knowledge economy of the 21st century.

As for Peter Obi, he should be fine with the fact that he won an election which he was robbed of for being an Igbo man in Nigeria. He can always include it in his CV that he once ran a successful Presidential campaign but he was cheated out of his due by a corrupt Nigerian system.

I'm going to admit, I can't be bothered to read this your epistle. It must take serious dedication and obsession to be writing countless mini-essays on an ethnic group you claim to hate.

Not long ago, a popular Nairalander who used to insult and degrade Ndigbo — to the extent of calling us "third-class citizens" — experienced his brother being kidnapped in the North. This was under the rule of a man he supported and voted for. Can that man say he lived better than the Igbos during his leader's reign?

Peter Obi is not your problem. He will be fine regardless of what happens. Can you say the same for yourself? undecided

Yet someone will be opening thread to wail about Igbos not producing the President as if the Presidency will do anything spectacular for Igbos

They used to annoy me but I actually pity them now. They choose to rant about Igbos because they don't want to fix their in-house issues.

I advise all Igbos to ignore them and focus on ourselves. We need to harangue our leaders and get them to start working. That these other tribes' leaders are corrupt and criminal doesn't mean that ours need to be too.

The thing that always makes me laugh in these kinds of threads is that Peter Obi will be fine whether he wins or loses in court. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will also be fine.

Ironically, it's the ones insulting him who will be the ones to suffer if he doesn't win. They will make excuses (just like they did for Buhari during his 8 years in power) and move onto the next rigger.

What a shame! undecided

Just as Edo state shares some names with the Yorubas, doesn't mean they are Yorubas.

Nzeogu is not from the Southeast.

Nzeogwu wasn't from the South-East but he was a bona-fide Igbo man. I'm proud of him. If each region was headed by his like in those days then Nigeria would be a first world country today.

That majority of Igbos are Christians doesn’t mean majority of Christians in Nigeria are Igbos..

I said a significant percentage of Christians in Nigeria are Igbo. Meaning, if they were to leave, Nigeria would become a Muslim country. I have lived in a Muslim country so I know what is in store for you people when that happens. Do you?

The last line of this your message sounds marginally near to a warning. Is that what it is, woman?

In your response to that poster, you said that Igbos (the entire tribe, not just him), should respect themselves. I am telling you to do the same. Many came into this thread respectfully but you didn't want to acknowledge them. You only acknowledge the few who were being negative and went on to insult our entire ethnic group because of it.

Lol..

What is the significance of Igbos in Nigeria Christianity?

What has being a Christain got to do with this thread ? So you mean if I’m a Christain & you slap me, I should turn the other ear for you to slap?

The other day, Deeper life wanted to come for the yearly crusade in SE but Igbo people told Kumuyi not to come. Kumuyi no be christain?

The other day, it was one Igbo pastor that was saying it on pulpit that Remi should have poisoned Tinubu..

-10 set of Christians..

You can say whatever you like but everybody knows that the Igbos make up a significant percentage of the Christians in Nigeria. The thing that I want you Igbo-hating Christians to understand is that once Ndigbo leave Nigeria, you people will be living in a Muslim country.

Keep castigating us; you have no idea what you're in for.

They are bunch of evil people.
I pity any Igbo group that are too dense to see that once Ndiigbo are gone, they will channel their Igbo hate towards them ( Igbos in SS).

Ndiigbo will not beg Igbos in SS to jolt back to senses and return to Nzuko Umunna with SE.
We will let them have their wish with the Minorities, with the promise that no help will come from us to them in the future when the jungle in that tower of Babel Minorities country mature.
We will not play the Zik/Ukiwe role again.

Onulu ube nwanne ga-akuchi nti !

Unfortunately, this may end up being the case. I may be wrong but I feel that the reason some igbo-denying SS Igbos persist with their Igbophobia is because they think that even if the worst should happen to them, our people will forgive and welcome them back with open arms.

I'm starting to see a trend with many SE Igbos (and the SS Igbos that have always embraced their Igbo heritage); we no longer care for the old Biafra boundaries. We're just focused on ourselves. I'm happy to see this smiley.
