sincerenigerian: You are obsessed with nothing. For your information, inconclusive presidential election in an invitation to anarchy which is like ill wind that will definitely serve regrets to everybody at the expense of the country's peaceful co-existence. There is nothing bad in getting it right and declaring a fair results across every region. |
Politics / Re: APC, PDP, Civil Society, INEC Disagreed Over Card Reader Performance In Kano by Ngwakwe: 10:35pm On Mar 07, 2015 |
otr1: According to INEC. A voter is assumed to be accredited and eligible to vote only when the PVC is authenticated by the fingerprints using the Card reader with exception of the amputees. They need to reconcile their activities with the subsisting electoral law to avoid unruly behaviours at the polling centres. |

sincerenigerian: Who and who participated in Lagos? The one million APC enthusiasts marching for Buhari or who exactly? Can we have samples ( percentage turnout)? Stop spreading lies, painted fingers are easily authenticated in biometrics. Dip your finger in ink and try it with fingerprint laptop - it's easy, it's working hence the excuse is another failed attempt to exonerate Jega and INEC's ill preparedness. 1 Like |

otr1: The electoral law as amended states that every eligible voter with a valid card must be allowed to vote and moreover there is a provision for 700,000 amputees in Nigeria to cast their vote hence INEC cannot violate the law by denying any Nigerian who physically comes to polling booth with a valid INEC Card the opportunity to votes for whatever reason. |

otr1: Damage done to any finger may be an occupational hazard associated with subsistence farming and some craftsmanship hence there should have been provision for four fingers, any finger from the two thumbs and two index fingers should work. Why were ten fingers captured during registration? Were the implementers of this technology myopic to forsee simple techniques my laptop can easily apply. The blame should be on the card-readers and INEC. 3 Likes 1 Share |

lolababe331e: Why are people bent on covering a flop. Painted fingers are passing the fingerprint logon unless the paint is emulsion or thick oil paint. Inks on fingers are passing computer biometrics (try it now on your laptop) hence the excuse is lame. 1 Like |

Instead of blaming Jega who acted like an emperor by denying registration to a legitimate application eight months ago the blame game has now being shifted to PDP. Let's assume it was APC registration that was stalled and this judgement. What would have been your opinion? Jega/INEC is the problem, , that's the truth. 11 Likes |

Politics / Re: 2015: Elections May Not Hold As New Party Seeks Extension by Ngwakwe: 7:27am On Mar 06, 2015 |
Why is Jega behaving like a tout or an emperor? He facilitated the registration of All Progressive Congress (APC) against the first registrant African People's Congress (APC) or so notwithstanding the impending court cases while the same Jega sat on a legitimate application for a new party YDP until it was late to participate in 2015 elections and he then rejected their application on frivolous grounds. What a chameleonic character. |

The NASS has failed. How on earth are these people abandoning their statutory functions to the extent of telling Nigerians to start asking their government questions. Is Legislature not part of government? Are they paid for nothing? Nigerians have been deceived into thinking that the LGAs, States, Legislature and Judiciary are now under one man called Good luck Jonathan hence all your woes, fruatration andsleepless nights are all his fault. Where are the checks and balances in democratic government? Shame on our lawmakers. |
Politics / Re: FG Shortlists Four INEC Commissioners To Succeed Jega by Ngwakwe: 2:22pm On Mar 01, 2015 |
rman: Mr man, the uncertainty in today's market was created by Jega when he laid all blames on security forces and by extension the government for the shift in date of the election instead of accepting partial responsibility if not total. |
Politics / Re: FG Shortlists Four INEC Commissioners To Succeed Jega by Ngwakwe: 7:21am On Mar 01, 2015 |
Prof Jega had four years to prepare for this election but wasted it. He had planned to rig not only the election but also 2016 census in favour of North-East and North-west by allocating unimaginable extra polling units to the zone until he was forcefully stopped by the Senate from applying his option A. Then Jega decided to use inequitable distribution of PVC as option B to rig the election where he allow proxies to collect and distribute in the North while dumping that of the South in various INEC offices across the regions with a stringent set of rules. To make the matter worst Prof Jega wants to use the loophole in our constitution and electoral law known as substantial compliance to legally deny millions of voters across South their PVC in order to reduce their regional voting power and population estimate Jega has contributed negatively to fall in Naira against the dollar by repeated lying on the fathom readiness of INEC before 14th Feb, 2014. The uncertainty in today's market was created by Jega for blaming security forces by extension the government for the shift in date of the election instead of accepting partial responsibility if not total. 33 Likes 2 Shares |
Politics / Re: Gej Plot To Ground Airplanes, Freeze Bank Accounts Of APC To Stop Buhari by Ngwakwe: 12:29am On Mar 01, 2015 |
So, this accusation that a certain Governor is APC's ATM Card (purse) is actually true. This is a true confession “There is also a plot to block or freeze the bank accounts of APC chieftains like Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Rotimi Amaechi (Director General of APC Presidential Campaign Organisation), and other prominent leaders believed to be funding the General’s campaign; and availing him their aircrafts for electioneering purposes I thought it was contributions from Obiagelli and Co that are being used in running the APC presidential campaign. Now I know they sold us the lies to cover the actual investors and shareholders. Howbeit, I am interested in this business venture but need to see the four year financial plan and the executive summary. |

All these are scripts to convince the gullible that Kano State is much populated than Lagos State. If you bend down well, you will see that the script is not only played to rig out GEJ but also to manipulate 2016 census. Prof. Jega is an accomplice to this devilish plan to sabotage the road to fully restructure Nigeria knowing fully well population draws 50% Federal allocation. 26 Likes |

stevecantrell: You don't understand, Buhari is a destiny destroyer, an obstruction to an already transformation on steady motion. We understand his past and how he resent continuing or finishing his predecessor's legacy projects. You don't even know 2015 Buhari. This is a man that connived with a principal of a school in 2015 to forge a WASC result or better put to impersonate "Mohammed" Buhari which he never answered in school according to the recommendation letter from his principal in 1961 which had his name as "Mohammadu" and never Mohammed as was contained in the fabricated result. The integrity of Buhari which is much admired or taunted has been greatly compromised hence he has lost the only attribute that made him unique. 1 Like 1 Share |

You forgot to tell Nairalanders that South East was on the verge of suffering the same kwarsiokor and hunger that killed more than 2.5 million defenseless women and children during the civil war which Buhari-nomics brought back during his military regime. Thanks to Babangida for overthrowing Mohammadu Buhari who wanted a repeat of decimation of Eastern Nigeria in wealth and population. egift: These were the types of jargon fed to American people after 9/11 and during the war in Iraq that made George Bush to win a convincing second term in office. President Jonathan has administered this country creditably to merit a second term in office and needs every support he can get from Nigerian people though he can do more which has promised while the case is different for Buhari whose antecedents leave regrets and sorrow to democratic rule. We need democrats not despots which Buhari acknowledged he is but claims "a changed/repackaged man" during his speech in London 1 Like 1 Share |

Obiagelli: It seems you have a different meaning for the word campaign. Putting the bill forward as executive bill and lobbying for the passage is all he needs to do to prove his sincerity while allowing democratic process to have its way.. Remember, my definition of opposition in Nigeria has nothing to do with party affiliation but regional interest except for APC South-west politicians who oppose their regional interest to punish the President while PDP Northerners will never relent in opposing a bill based on ethno-religious interest. This is politics made in Nigeria. |

deeptechcool: He is correct to use it as a campaign promise for the fact that both bills are executive bills and he is not only sponsoring the bill but also lobbying to get them passed. The question is, between Jonathan and Buhari, in whose interest is it to get the bill passed? National Confab is the brainchild of President Jonathan hence the Yoruba Statesmen can believe him than Buhari who never see it as a major talking point. Cc Obiagelli |

The Speaker has already promised last Monday to do everything within his power to work with his colleagues in the HOR to get the bill passed before the conclusion of seventh Assembly. GEJ has already made the last minute deal to lobby the NASS to get the job done. Just wait and see. The only enemy against the passage of the bill is minority leader cum Mr oppose everything from GEJ. Obiagelli: 2 Likes 1 Share |
