How so please?

It's a lot to type but you can do your independent research.
In summary, the case officer will look at the whole years claimed (including that cut off by any assessing body). As long as you are doing the roles described in the occupation list and you have supporting documents, you will be deemed skilled in the eyes of DHA.

After deduction you can only claim experience for years deemed skilled, which should be years left after deduction. In you own case 3 years

You can use the same email for all.
Select all three subclasses for each but then choose separate (1) states per application.

good day, I don't know if this is the section for this or you can help me with information on what the problem really is.... An agent applied for admission into ACU for me, I got a reply that they don't believe in the document, so they wouldn't be giving me admission. I notorized my document with a notary public as instructed by the agent and followed all process. What i want to know is, is there a special method for notarizing of document in Nigeria for Australia application or their special office that does that? After getting this mail, I did a little research, and i discovered that after notorizing my document, I was supposed to certify it with the ministry of foreign affairs and also the embassy of Australia which the agent never told me about. Attached are document. Thanks

Hello, unfortunately I do not have any idea about this.
Perhaps someone that does will come to clarify.
Thanks.

Please I need assistance on the EOI.
I have done my assessment with TRA as Electrical engineering technician and recieved my outcome leter for 8 years experience.

My IELTS is also out and I have 7.5 overall with 7 in listening, speaking and writing and 8 in reading.

Which of the subclass do I register for EOI. Is it 189 or regional. I am confused and the next step to take please.

Also, do I need to get my wife to write IELTS or I should just proceed with only mine.

Regards,

Hi, congratulations on your positive assessment.

You should submit and choose all three subclasses (189, 190 and 491). I recommend you have separate EOIs for each different states.

You can claim 10 points for your English language skill. Best to also get your spouse to write as well so you can get an extra 5 points with a score not below 6 on each component.

Regardless, do not wait. Fill your EOI right away as there is a high possibility of a draw this month.

Thanks.

I received a Positive Assessment from Vetassess today. I thought it was going to be a Certificate grin. It was just a letter.

The funny part was that they removed 1 year from my work experience, and instead of 9 years, I was given 7.66 (as at Sept 2022). My question is can I still claim 8 yrs? I understand that 8 yrs can give 20 points.

@ Tunlex, please how can I strategically cast my net for an ITA? Apply to Skillselect for EOI 189 only, then visit the States (perhaps 3 different States) and apply for ROI 190? separately with same email?

From my many research on the subject of deduction and claiming points. You can go ahead and indicate (claim points) for the period that was deducted in your EOI, as long as you have enough documents to verify it.

Besides, if you count from September till now. Even with the deduction, you’ve landed in 8years.

No. That’s not enough for work experience except you didn’t claim points for experience
I claimed points for it. 8years experience.
Getting tax certificate is not working out.
If i choose to use my bank statement, do I need to generate a bank statement covering the whole 8years?

Thanks for replying. I actually haven't started the application yet. The thing is I spent about 10 months in the UK last year and up to six months this year, so that's collectively more than 12 months. What I need to confirm is if the 12 months is a continuous stretch or counted across different periods. I think it may be better to apply for a different Nigerian police report and not use the one you got for the UK.

Thanks for getting in touch.
Omoh, that's 90k for myself and my wife.

Hi all,

I have two questions regarding the police report:

1) how does one apply for a Nigerian police report if one is based in the UK?
2) are you expected to apply for a UK police report if you have never lived there for 12 consecutive months but collectively if all months are counted, they add up to over 12 months?

Thanks in advance.

Also, I would like to connect with any business analyst who got a 189 invitation.

I am currently at that upload section now, was going to ask aswell. Though I am sure its not a UK police report but a Nigerian Police Report, you'll see it written there 'Nigeria.
My own confusion is if I can upload the police report I used while coming to UK, it has the United Kingdom as destination written on it.

Hello, everyone.
I need an advice.
I had given up on Australia and Japad to UK on a study route.
I just woke up to an invitation to apply email for all visa subclasses I applied for (190,189 & 491 respective scores 75, 80 & 90).
Considering settling for either 190 or 189.
I'll appreciate response to point me in the right direction.
My main concern! Now that I am in the UK for over 4 months now, can I apply from here or I have to go back home to Apply.
I am confused.

Read your offer again it states international student deposit is 5,500.

The offer says a minimum of 2,000 pounds for initial deposit.
The 'what next' says international students are to pay 5,500 pounds.
I was also confused.
Then I got an unsolicited phone call from the school to congratulate me on my offer and inform me on what next to do.
I didn't even ask, the instruction was clear 'make a deposit of 2,000 pounds and apply for your CAS, we'll start issuing CAS by mid April'.
So I can authoritative confirm the tuition deposit is 2,000 pounds.

Good evening fellow Nairalanders. I got an uncondtional offer to Northumbria and their due deposit is conflicting
Also please who knows if deposit has a deadline and if they require POF before CAS

Anyone else on this ?

Hello, i understand your concern as I also had same.
The tuition deposit is 2,000 pounds.
There's no deadline for payment of the tuition deposit.
They do not require POF before issuing CAS.
CAS issuance for September intake starts mid April.
All the best.

Someone earlier said deposit for Northumbria is 5,500 pounds. Can't go back on the thread to find the person and quote.
I got an offer from them and it says a minimum non refundable deposit of 2,000 pounds.
