Davash222:In as much as I hardly comment on some issues on this platform, I feel the need to write on this. I take it that you are not familiar with vehicular operations around airports. Vehicles like the Limo you saw in the picture are usually rented to chauffer anyone who can afford the ride from an aircraft to the arrival point at airports. With between N50,000.00 to N150,000.00, even you can ride in that Limo for the ride depending on distance and such services are usually provided either due to health reasons or the age of the person or if the person is a VIP and for privacy sake. The clergy man might have flown in a private jet (probably rented) but that Limo is indeed rented. It is therefore misleading to make a joke of this. No matter how expensive, private cars are never allowed to move near aircrafts except certified ones like the Limo in picture. Our prayer should be that God should bless us also to afford some luxuries of life which you may be surprised to know are actually not very expensive just like the Limo service at airports. Kudos. |
ichidodo:Sorry.. |
rexbuton:Noted... |
Xslaze3xd:Stay there...these Ppl too are humans, thy have cousins, friends, relations, associates, close associates, inner caucus..etc. A new set of Ppl will start walking the corridors of power in Nigeria in a matter of weeks.. Change!!! The only constant thing. |
SeverusSnape:Ok, I will watch out for you.. |
iykofias:Bro, don't get it wrong. People in the SS bear different names like General, Government, Chevron etc so don't be surprised that Pastor might be the man's name. |
Haba OP, you can paint the government of the day as you like or insult another as you wish BUT why will you put photographs of a Private University on this thread and label them as government projects? I can at least clearly identify Covenant University Library and Chapel in your pictures. Pls get your facts tight before posting. Thanks. |
chudionu58:I lamented when I passed that road last month on my way from Kaduna to Ibadan, what pained me the most was that I drove my car, a brand new Peugeot which I bought that same day through that road. I used to ply that route many years back, believe me, I even had to stop at a filling station to ask whether or not I had lost my way. That road needs urgent rescue... I rest my case. |
Da Emperor: Amen oooo! Bon voyage & happy training! Thanks Emperor, I'm grateful. |

I want to encourage my peeps here not to give up. The first time I applied for DSSC Army was in 2007 and I've applied to the three services almost every year since then. God crowned my efforts with success in 2013. My first interview invite came in 2011 for the Navy but I missed it as I didn't get the information on time and was not around as at then. 2009, 2010, 2012 I didn't get any but 2013 I got both Army and NAF. God will see us through the training as well. Never give up on your dreams, it's the worst thing you can do to yourself. Need I say that I also attempted the NDA Regular Course over 4 years and the best I got then was to be on Reserve list for 53RC who are going to be decorated as Majors this year. Everyone has his/her time. Try not to miss yours. One can only claim to be lucky when PREPARATION meets OPPORTUNITY. Trust in God and He will see you through if it is HIS will for you. Nairaland has been a source encouragement for me. I thank Mr Seun Osewa and all the mods on this site. Special thanks to those who gave us information. Emmanuel4fire, Gambudu, I see you... God bless us all. |
You don't need so much money my brother. This girl is a friend to my wife, she comes over to my house. My wife is in the league of her's in terms of beauty and trust me I don't have this type of money. The Abacha's are extremely rich, well what would you expect anyways? HML to them, cause that is what matters.
Shuo..bros you sabi them? In that case, let me send you my cv asap. I dey find work abeg. I will be watching out for your response o. Infact I've sent you a pm. Nagode!! |
Whao..this is the Power of Influence at work, Aliko himself gracing the wedding!! Truly, the gifts of a man maketh room for him and bringeth him before the Princes of his people. Just be very good at what you do and even big men and women will acknowlege your gifts. Congrats Peter. |
ovieohene: i just hope its not wat am thinking o hmmm he is my uncle, no my brother blabla....havent said that be strong! You are a man, ask 4 His direction. Never marry a woman that would give u another man's...............If you are decent, then u deserve that in return! If there is genuine love between u both then watch it satan might be at work to stop ur happiness of God's knows how long you v waited till dis time. God wll give u de grace to move on if she is not de right woman 4 u! As per cancellation just put it as further notice since u r not God? Tell them that d wedding has been postponed till further notice! If u v their no call them, ur office etc I will pray with u. Remain bless!OP, I can understand how you feel over this. There might be other salient issues which you may not want to discuss on this forum which I understand and respect because after all the celebrations and everything, EVERYONE will turn back leaving you and your bride to your lives and truly, there is no point if you already have serious doubts about your supposed better half even before you become joined. On getting people informed, simply send out messages that the wedding has been postponed and that a later date will be communicated to them. If you are able to resolve this seemingly big issue between you and your lady, fine, if not.... Trust me, having relationship issues AT THE POINT OF MARRIAGE can be very destabilizing and it takes time for one to get back on his/her feet. Please, after all said and done, see a counselor, you will need it. Sorry. |
gambudu: @makpenen,i dont tink its necessary for me to enquire.I didnt get d sms either but i KNOW its real.Am only against d guy who is trying to discourage those that got the text .I reside in NAF base Ikeja.tanks for your concern@ Gambudu, could we talk please? I heard an information concerning the number they want to recruit and it seems so low..will like to discuss with you.. |
Is a scam...no one should believe that. NAF is not irresponsible to start sending SMS withaut publishing the list or notifying candidates on their web site... Don't be deceived....
Ok but one question for you. How did the 'scammers' get all the numbers they sent sms to? How did they know those that applied for the NAF DSSC? When Navy decided unusually to sell forms online it was also labelled a scam remember? Did it eventually turn out to be? Bro, NAF result is out. Thanks. |
watalovitis: has anyone in lagos recieved any text...plsss confirmYes.. |
Enugu!!! Finally.. |
If there was going to be another list they would have tagged the first list as batch A. Well, lets hope and see what comes out from the rumour.
@Emma, you are not even asking after your brother again. How far with your Navy runs? Good luck. |
I'm a candidate in DSSC and honestly, godfatherism plenty hereoooo coz uptil nw, the army haven't evicted any candidate at all becos probably this yrs Dssc candidates came prepared with bad tough connections. Is now a game of luck and connection. I pray to God to make it at the end.
My brother, please tell them o. God will help us. How do we see? |
...na wah o, all †ђ3 prospective officers jst bone us wen they got to KD/Enugu...we no even c †ђ3 breaklight of thos in Enugu @all...common gist you no fit give us, if una come become officer nko o (if U̶̲̥̅̊ make A̶̲̥̅♏, ma pe padi e lole o)? well besties of luch sha...Bliss weldone jare...
@bigboyo, not so at all, it is just by Divine privilege that some of us made it here..No one has been screened out at Enugu except for 6 Yobe candidates that officials from the state came to expose that they are actually from Niger Republic and they were decamped immediately. Also, one guy from Zamfara who is not an indigine but claimed the state. So many 'Oga at the Top' things happening here and I really ask myself if some of us here realise that this is Army job and not some secular job with real prospects of danger..No wonder Nigeria is like this when we can toy with an issue as delicate as National security on a platter of politics and allow people without passion for this job get into the military. Won't they take fright and flight in the face of a determined and suicidal enemy? I shake my head... |
Guys please reply nah or didn't U guys face the board. Atleast share Ur exerience with us nah. We r happy for and with U guys. Don't keep mute.
Bros, we never face board for Enugu o, we just dey here dey expect... |
