All these "lucrative deals" are always "worth several millions of Naira" but they never get to tell us the figure. At least in football, when a club buys a player, we are all privy to the exact figures! Whats the use of the news, if the most exciting factor(the money paid) is totally missing? Happy for Lagbaja though! One very respectable musician!!
Bro, wetin be your own with the sum? You get share for there? He is only refusing to declare his assets...lol. Lagbaja, Chop Up Joorrr... |
Hmnnn, it appears that majority of those that have collected their letters don't belong to this forum..'people of means'. Can't blame anyone, we shall all hear the good new's soonest. Good a.m. |
Demdem: It's interesting seeing children of nowadays claiming they don't know baba. The "Chrises" has taken over and these ones they know.@Demdem, Hmnnnnn Baba Idahosa..A lion..IT IS WELL. The gospel will return to it's glory when salvation and genuine repentance was ALL that was preached in our churches and merely saying you are born again open doors for you. S.U days.. |

braveheart2012: Wow! This man has passed away! Didn't he also have something to do with Isoglass? One of his wives owned a primary school in Bodija, Ibadan. I remember him well! May his soul RIP.@Braveheart, Amen. Will you believe I attended that school? I spent only two days before running away. The Woman was a strict disciplinarian. Great Aurora day School....loooool Chief was on the board of many organisations. |
Words fail me to describe this great man. Sir, even though we were not related, you treated me like your own son..How I wish I became closer to you as I grew up. I remember like yesterday when I was cheated out of my admission into NDA 53 RC due to the Nigerian factor, you stood to demand what happened that even the then Chief of army staff intervened and got to the root of it. When my WASSCE result came out in 1999, you were one of the first to know. I can NEVER forget all the events that happened then, my result was 6 A's, 2 C's and a D 7 in Chemistry, you looked at me in the eye and said ''......., this canot be your result" you believed I couldn't fail chemistry. I never knew it was possible for anyone to see his scripts after WAEC but you called for it and made me know I got 49% in practicals, but made 67% in the written so I was graded D7. This charged me beyond my wildest dreams that someone who was not related to me by blood could do these within a week of knowing about my challenge. You believed so much in Africa, you loved Nigeria and whenever you travelled out of Nigeria, everyone knew you will be back in at most 3 days. You believed we can all succeed since you did, you said things will always get better. You described how your mother died after visiting you, trekking from Ibadan back to Ondo when you were a little boy staying with Pa Alayande in Ibadan. The same Ibadan trip that you make in a few hours in any of your Benz cars(chief loves Benz) was what claimed the life of your darling mum. You even celebrated her 40th year remembrance...things got better. You said success is possible to anyone who dares to achieve it. I could write volumes on you...You loved sports, swimming, fishing, travelling and reading but above all, spending QUALITY time with your children and seeing people educated to the highest heights. Chief never liked anyone being sad and you liked calling people by there full names..Tunji as Olatunji, Dele as Bamidele... Chief Ilemobayo, I remember my first ever visit to your first Ondo house, I marvelled at the sheer size then and you asked me what I wanted to become in life, I still remember the answer till now...my little 8 year old mind felt being a Chief brought money so I told you I wanted to become a chief. You laughed and said "you become a chief by your actions first before anyone makes you a chief.". You charisma was like that of an Imperial Majesty, you exhibited royalty in every way. I will so miss you but I am glad you left behind children sucessful in their various endeavors with good family life to match. ADIEU Sir High Chief Lisa of Ondo. With love, ------- ----- |
If I knew u, I would have called u a f**l for even thinking about this. You've found the one that stayed with you when you were nothing & you want to leave her for your ex who didnt think of you when the going was good with her husband. She moved on, you also do likewise. |
