It may b unacceptable,i learnt, d NA are lookin at dis 3 option, either to shortlist 30 names b4 writing exams afta whc d list wil b cut down 2 15 b4 further screening in kaduna and ibadan respectively or,every applicant wil seat 4 exams come august or continue wit d existing style while d next set wil be d set wit new style of recruitment... If u'v heard any tin like dis,pls quote me.
In-as-much-as I have reservations on the rumour of exams, I'm beginning to believe this 'exam theory'. I saw a Brig. General today and walked up to him to ask about the DSSC/SSC and he said & insisted there is going to be a written exam. Which ever way it goes, it will turn out for our favour by God's grace. |
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the infamous June 12. The Oyo and Osun state governments on Monday declared Wednesday as work free to commemorate the June 12, 1993 Presidential election, cancelled by the military government of the time. In a statement in Ibadan, Festus Adedayo, the Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Media, said the holiday was to mark the 20th anniversary of the election, adjudged the freest and fairest in Nigeria’s political history. The statement said the holiday was also a recognition of the martyrdom of the late Moshood Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the election. It said Mr. Abiola ought to be honoured for laying down his life for Nigerians to enjoy democratic governance. Similarly, the Commissioner for Information in Osun, Sunday Akere, said in a statement in Osogbo that the holiday was to recognise when an election adjudged the freest and fairest in Nigeria was annulled. Mr. Akere said that June 12 would continue to stand for democracy and good government and as such nothing was too much to honour the day. Ogun State had on Sunday also declared June 12 a public holiday. (NAN) http://premiumtimesng.com/regional/138414-oyo-osun-join-ogun-declare-june-12-public-holiday.html?doing_wp_cron=1370897264.7709269523620605468750 Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, on Monday approved that Wednesday, June 12, 2013, be observed as a work free day in the state in commemoration of June 12, 1993 annulled elections. This was contained in a circular issued yesterday by the Head of Service, Mr. Adesegun Ogunlewe. According to the circular, “In commemoration of June 12, 1993 as significant in the actualisation of democracy in Nigeria, it is hereby notified for general information that His Excellency, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Governor of Lagos State has approved Wednesday, June 12, 2013 as a work free day.’” The circular further enjoined all workers in the state to attend events organised by various government agencies and groups to commemorate the day. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2013/06/fashola-declares-june-12-work-free-day-in-lagos/
ETC ETC... Why can't they(states) all just make June 12 a holiday once and for all instead of politicising the whole thing by 'Declaring' the day an holiday ANNUALLY...Haba!!! They should simply pass the edict in their respective states and pass it to their various state assemblies since the federal government From 1999 till date has not deemed it fit to fully recognise the sacrifice of Chief Abiola. I rest my case. |

This thread might indeed be helpful afterall. A car was stolen in Abeokuta January this year, a Black Honda Accord (Hala) with registration number CM 984 FST (the mirrors and windows have this number inscribed on it). Anyone with useful information should pls drop a hint here or contanct the nearest police station. It has been reported to the police and it was also announced on the media as well. Thank you very much. |
Nellyd: ...and i just got a banking job...may God help me.Nelly, my candid advice is that you should try as much as posible not to increase your lifestyle, then save like no man's business. If you are a contract staff, the pay might be small but if you are a full staff, pls and pls, save till you have enough to set up something for yourself. I'm sure you can save about 2m within a year. The bank job is an opportunity for you to raise enough capital for your future endeavors/plans. I hope you listen. |

tosh26: How was †ђe exam like? Wa§ it like †ђe normal Gmat question? Please fill us in̅.Normal aptitude questions. What really matters is the score of others from your state. If there are many high scores from your state, your cut-off mark will be high and it also could be vice-versa. For example if 20 ppl get 74 from your state and you get 73, your chances are slimmer if they are to invite 25 ppl for interview because you might be more than 5 that may score 73 so your local govt also comes into play due to quota system. And Godfatherism is another heavy factor. I've written the exam 3 times and 2011 was the first time I scaled thru.. God help us. |
Reference: Ex-boys of where or whatPeople that finished their Secondary school education in Nigerian Military school Zaria are called Ex-Boys.. |
