Story story...Story The Civil Defence I know can never do all these things narrated in this Super Story, rather, we all know what the Police can do. As the police officers were approaching the scene, they heard sounds of “serious gun firing” near the pipeline area; and Mr. Gabriel instructed his men to head towards the direction.”Hahahahaha! Na today? Which Nigerian Policeman will hear serious gun firing and "head towards the direction", instead of picking race and running 4-40? Who are you trying to deceive? Abegi!!! |
LMAO! How would one expect the government to buy guns and self-defence weapons and distribute to people? Tell me where it is done. I think the most appropriate thing for the Igbos in the North should do for now is to briefly relocate to calmer parts of the country in d meantime, till this Boko Haram and Ansarul issue ends. |
NoContract: [size=18pt]We shall see... (Optimistic)Obviously, there are projects among what the OP has just shown us here which would affect the lives of the masses. Of course, they would travel by the roads and railways being constructed; They would use water supplied by the water plants; They would read in the Library to update their knowledge and pass exams; They would need the recreational centers to unwind during festivities, etc. Its not only the rich that go to recreational centers or amusement parks, I guess it's only poverty mentality that make people remain at home and claim that enjoyment is for the high and mighty alone. I've seen some middle-class and low-class people at such centers. They mix up, make friends, get rid of the poverty mentality and get psychologically rejunenated. |
outrage: [size=14pt]all this has been around before he dreamt of becoming president.. He's just around when it got to be completed. That's if they are.Even if he was not the one that gave the contract, is it not good that he deemed it fit to continue the project and finish it. So because he was not the one that gave the contracts, he should allow the projects to die without being completed? I thought we Nigerians used to condemn politicians who abandon projects that their predecessors started. Abeg Oga Presido go ahead joor |
go and report the incident to cocacola with your evidence |
Take it or leave it, she looks good in that outfit. |
Here is TIMI DAKOLO's "GREAT NATION" LYRICS (beautiful anthem indeed. Should be Nigeria's second or alternative National Anthem) Here we stand as a people With one song: with one voice We're a nation: undivided and poised We will take our stand: and build our land With faith: to defend what we love Here we are as a people With one heart: for one cause We're determined: to rebuild and restore Where freedom reigns: and truth prevails A land where there's hope for us all (2x) (Chorus) We're all we have, we'll defend our land We believe in this nation, and we know we'll get there We're all we have, we'll defend our land We believe in Nigeria and the promise she holds And that one day we'll shine like the sun We're a great nation Though we are many people Different tribes: different tongues We're united in our strength and resolve To uphold the honour of our land And for generations to come (Chorus) We're all we have, we'll defend our land We believe in this nation, and we know we'll get there We're all we have, we'll defend our land We believe in Nigeria and the promise she holds And that one day we'll shine like the sun We’re a great nation

@OP, The division of Nigeria is just a figment of your own imagination. No one is breaking, get it! |
teskyg: Nice-Kid.Shut the bleep up.We need to really protest.Other people can not still afford card meter and if they are crying blue murder,we need to supposrt them. What the hell did you just say? You better watch your tongue my friend. Don't you try me o! I'm warning you |
Say No to Sabotage! Anybody that feels cheated in PHCN bills can go for the alternative pre-paid cards, whereby you buy how many units you want to use and use it. When it gets finished, you know that you have used it up. just like your Recharge cards for your phone calls |
According to a visibly angry Danmaliki, the northerners had ruled the country for over 36 years with nothing to be proud of, stressing that the major problems of the region were lack of vision and selfish interest of Northern leadersI'm telling you! Can you imagine, out of the 52years of post-independence rule in Nigeria, the North has held power for a greater part. Yet mos northern states are being ravaged by poverty. Most northern politicians are only concerned with enriching themselves and stacking up wealth for their generations yet unborn. They selfishly don't have the affairs of the masses at heart, which is rather unfortunate |
gadgethead: This is a passionate plea to all Nigerians to carry out a non violent protest against the Power 'Holding' Company of Nigeria' by stop paying our electricity bills until there is a major improvement in the power sector. My Friend, we cannot stand by you in this your planned sabotage. Nigerians are far too intelligent to buy your idea. Why don't you go for the PHCN pre-paid card and then use as you pay, if you feel cheated with the post-paid option |
Why is it that FCT Ministers enjoy demolishing people's houses. This was the same thing that that short Aboki Elrufai did in his own time. This is getting out of hand and so many people are getting displaced daily. They can't even pack to their villages, as floods are noteven helping matters. Thank God for he House of Senate |
Soldiers mind you, the GOC did not say "shoot them dead". You can simply shoot them on the leg Abeg. |
Is his name Tagg Romney or Tugg Romney? |

Haters will broadcast your failure, but whisper your success. |
If he can summon the courage and go to maybe a media house, or the house of assembly or even the SSS, he can help in investigations, at least by taking them to the house of the debtor that caused the whole mess. Make him no go report for police o, they fit turn the whole thing upside down against him. |
aryzgreat: @ poster, do u collect ur allowy upfront?I wonder o! Today is just 10th October and they are here shouting government-government. To the best of my knowledge, salaries/wages/ allowances are paid by month end. So be patient dude |
Tony Spike: This latest rule by NUC may be mainly directed towards the private universities. As we all know, these universities don't believe students can fail after paying so much money, so they organise re-sits during holidays at a "marketable" fee. They call it REMEDIAL programme |
BeraBera: “The attention of the NUC has been drawn to the fact that some universities conduct supplementary examination for their students, in addition to regular semester examinations… This contradicts the Course Credit System in operation in the Nigerian university system, which has no provision for re-sit or supplementary examinations. But come to think of it, re-sit and sorting, which one is better? People that pay lecturers in cash/kind to get good scores and those who want to try-again, whom would you prefer? |
Of course yes. Foreign investment would continue to be of great benefit to Nigeria because: it provides employment for the indigenes, It encourages transfer of technology, It fosters business competitions between indigenous and foreign enterprises, It yields income for the government through Taxes paid by the foreign companies operating in the country, Etc. etc |
This is a welcome development. It goes further to show that our President believes in true democracy. Thos of you saying he doesn't have a mind of his own, you guys are much more confused than you assume he is? What if he insisted on producing the 5K note, what would you have said? You will still cry out that he doesn't listen to d masses. Make una take am easy joor |
