yeah i share ur sentiment. Ur placement of d contestants  almost concures wiv what i feel should be their true positions. But again, voting does the placement and am not surprised  by d  outcome  of d result.

u'v got me all wrong. A closer look at my analysis u wld find out that i was cautious in my choice of words. I always use d word 'may', which positively expresses possibilities. We al know that in competition like this d primary qaulity that endears u2 fans is ur oustanding talent. However, if two or more talents ar too close to call off or to decide d best then other qaulities such as looks, swagger, composure and even hype could go a long way to influence ur popularity among d fans. This is where d sentiment and subjectivity comes in which i believe is natural. This is just d nieceties behind my previous post.
Base on d talents on d show, we all know that chidinma and kesse ar d best on d show. Peharps, chidinma edged out kesse cos she'v got d hype from d audience and judges which went a long way to influence her votes. Personally, i fink she deserve it cos she did put up some of d best performances d show has ever seen.
As for d rest, i believe that their parformances ar too close to pinpoint who is better as a result other qualities which they'v got influenced their share of votes. Eyo may be d least talented, but we must not forget he had some moment of brilliance. His 'Fella' parformance was one of those. Eyo edged out d rest probably due to the appeal of his looks and swagger. Some female folks i know said they voted for him cos they like him. As for yetunde, though, she do not have much of d looks but she'v got some naija-flavour kinda of swagger wich proved to be a grist to her mill. For Ochuko, it is a moot question whether he have d looks as for d swagger fin, he tried to force some swagger but his chubby stature occationally let him down. Finally, for tolu, he's way too temperamental in the competition esp towards d end. This did backfire to his peril.
Personally, i fink Ochuko and Tolu deserve a better placement than Eyo but i did'nt undermine d power of sentiment when it calls for voting. So d result is exactly as i expected as long as voting is concerned. I hope u'v got me sussed out.
TV/Movies / Re: MTN Project Fame West Africa: Season 3 by niceone3(m): 10:24pm On Sep 27, 2010
I fink d result may be right base on d outcome of d voting . d criteria that decides d various positions is voting which may be subjective base on d popularity of d contestant. I may decide to vote 4u b\c of ur looks\swagger etc whit little or no regards to ur talent indepth. So IMO, instead of critisizing d result we should rather critisize d voting criteria.

@ Drrionelli
Nigeria guys tend to be more hairy than d US guys  probably due to d hairless-fashion in vogue in the states as a result they apply stuffs in order to go hairless. In Nigeria most ladies find hairy guys really romantic as a result most guys are encouraged to keep and flaunt their bodily hairs, some even go to the extent of applying stuffs to go hairy.(trust me)
TV/Movies / Re: Chidinma Wins Project Fame Westafrica Season 3 by niceone3(m): 3:56pm On Sep 26, 2010
I fink there were just two competitors, chidinma and d rest. She'v got a dulcet voice and by far d best  in d show. Her use-of- the-stage reeks of professionalism to say d least. She did turn out some of d best performances d show had ever seen. Those performances of hers elicited effusive eulogy from d audience and  d judges and atimes d judges lacks words to describe her incredibility. Her emargence as d winner is just to complete d formal proceedings cos everybody knows she's d one even d judges insinuate that during d show.
I foresee a great career in her.

Celebrities / Re: I’ve Been Totally Faithful To Joke–olu Jacobs by niceone3(m): 10:27am On Sep 22, 2010
I took my time to gallop through this thread cos olu is an actor i  rated so highly. Two aspect of his interview that caught the eagle eye to full attention was his blisful marriage life as well as his issue with Pete Edochie. With regards to the former, i think he has shown what a perfect husband should look like and for this, he's just a shining example for husbands and wannabes alike. For the later, Pete vilifying some igbo role played by Olu. If the verasity of this is something to go by, then it would be very unprofessional of pete to do so. Pete is one actor in nollywood i revere so much due to his excellent command of English, his bravity as well as his outstanding ability to dish out parables which has never been paralled in nigeria movies and he's reckon as arguably the best actor the movie industry has ever seen. If i were pete, i would give out my right arms  rather than to see my hard earned reputation slip away from me for a seemingly wanton reason.

Anapolis:

I just want to tell you that Heaven and Hell are even more real than this physical world that we know.

It is on earth here that you decide what direction you want to go; to spend eternity with Jesus or to a burning hell.  The Lord kept saying to us, "Without holiness no man will see me, without holiness no man will see me."  (Hebrews 12:14)

Here is a an account by a group of scientist lead by Dr Azzakoc who carried out a drilling project in Siberia

very interesting folks tales
just read on:
Newspaper cutting of Researchers who Recorded Screams of the Damned

If there really is no Hell, then where do unrepentant sinners go when they die? Do you think YAHUVEH would let them into Heaven?
[Please Note: There has been much debate whether this is real or not. We are not saying it is real or not but we feel it is important enough to post it and let you the reader decide.]

These details are from the translation of an article in a Finnish newspaper named 'Ammennusatia'.

A geological group who drilled a hole about 14.4 kilometers deep in the crust of the earth are saying that they heard human screams. Screams have been heard from the condemned souls from earth's deepest hole. Terrified scientists are afraid they have let loose the evil powers of hell up to the earth's surface.

'The information we are gathering is so surprising, that we are sincerely afraid of what we might find down there,' stated Dr Azzacov, the manager of the project in remote Siberia.

'The second surprise was the high temperature they discovered in the earth's center. 'The calculations indicate the given temperature was about 1,100 degrees Celsius, or over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit,' Azzacov pointed out. 'This is far more then we expected. It seems almost like an inferno of fire is brutally going on in the center of the earth.

'The last discovery was nevertheless the most shocking to our ears, so much so that the scientists are afraid to continue the project. We tried to listen to the earth's movements at certain intervals with supersensitive microphones, which were let down through the hole. What we heard turned those logically thinking scientists into a trembling ruins. It was a sometimes a weak, but high pitched sound which we thought to be coming from our own equipment,' explained Dr Azzacov.

'But after some adjustments we comprehended that indeed the sound came from the earth's interior. We could hardly believe our own ears. We heard a human voice, screaming in pain. Even though one voice was discernible, we could hear thousands, perhaps millions, in the background, of suffering souls screaming. After this ghastly discovery, about half of the scientists quit because of fear. Hopefully, that which is down there will stay there,' Dr Azzacov added.

'What really unnerved the Soviets, apart from the voice recordings, was the appearance that same night of a fountainhead of luminous gas shooting up from the drill site, and out of the midst of this incandescent cloud pillar a brilliant being with bat wings revealed itself with the words (in Russian): 'I have conquered,' emblazoned against the dark Siberian sky.

'The incident was absolutely unreal; the Soviets cried out in terror,' says Mr. Nummedal. Later that night, he saw ambulance crews circulating in the community. A driver he knew told him that they had been told to sedate everybody with a medication known to erase short term memory. The Soviets use this drug in the treatment of shock victims.

Dr. Azzacove "As a communist I don’t believe in heaven or the Bible but as a scientist I now believe in hell," said Dr. Azzacove. "Needless to say we were shocked to make such a discovery. But we know what we saw and we know what we heard. And we are absolutely convinced that we drilled through the gates of Hell!"

Dr. Azzacove continued, ". . .the drill suddenly began to rotate wildly, indicating that we had reached a large empty pocket or cavern. Temperature sensors showed a dramatic increase in heat to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit."

"We lowered a microphone, designed to detect the sounds of plate movements down the shaft. But instead of plate movements we heard a human voice screaming in pain! At first we thought the sound was coming from our own equipment."

"But when we made adjustments our worst suspicions were confirmed. The screams weren’t those of a single human, they were the screams of millions of humans!

Do you know why Jacques Costeau, the famous underwater explorer, quit deep sea diving sometime before he died? It is said that he stopped because he had heard in one of the underwater caves he was exploring, the sounds of people screaming.

There was also another time, when one of his men, who was in a diving bell in the deepest trench at the Bermuda Triangle, also had a similar experience. He signaled to be brought up immediately. After being revived from his shock, he told others of his frightening experience of hearing "Screams of people in pain".
LISTEN TO THE "SOUNDS OF HELL"!
hehehehehe still lafin out my back side grin grin grin grin. this must be a contender for the jock of the century
well, warever, it is still a good finding. at least the essence of science and technology is to proffer solutions to our problem. i hope they would device a system/machine/robot or a means of rescuing our brothers and sister who are over 14 or so kilometers beneath us. heheheheehheeheeeeeeeeee that would be very interesting. But on a serious note i wouldn't want to see the likes of Abacha, adolph hitler,etc,rescuedooooooooo.bhwahahahahaha.well i rest my case

I knew it. I knew that 'bad romance '  would earn gaga awards. I lv that song so much esp its weird lyrics( excerpt: , i want ur ugly, i want ur disease, i want ur everthing as long as its free, ) OMG those lines are as gaga as lady gaga and i was like utterly gagged the first time i  haerd d song. D video is as weird as well. Though it is a song i'm so obsessed abt but i objectively think that it got too much of a hype as to dwarf other songs.
Whatever, gaga is still my gal

The build up to Arsenal's last goal was based on a 12 steps to heaven. It has been long that i saw a goal that is scored in such a set peices, swifty moves as well as eye catching passes. That goal was a stuner to say the least.
