Thekingishere said part of the reason Affleck stepped out of the role was cause of his alcohol issues. I never believed that. Lots of actors are alcoholics, and drug users and still pull off roles, i.e Ezra Miller. Affleck first hand witnessed what WB did to the films. He had an idea what he was signing in to, he wouldn't have signed up if it was the trash it later became. He most definitely wouldn't have agreed to film scenes for Snyder cut if Zack had been the problem at the get go.

His last movie would have been JL 2 or 3 considering the circumstances...What would have happened in JL 2 would be invasion of Earth by Darkseid and Darkseid's defeat by 3...
Wb worked all these things out and decided to bite the bullet...They weren't getting anticipated returns with Snyder at the helm....

I'm saying, give the Flash movie a chance..It may turn out to be good...MCU is about to debut Jane Foster Thor, how many people are out in arms about it, everyone's giving them a chance...Snyder fans alone cannot make a difference box office wise, you need the general audience and if they general audience like it, it works...

Moreover, female trinity thing if true would just be a temporary thing till they recast Bats and Supes without everyone being up in arms about it ...

MOS was initially meant to be a standalone with possibilities for a spin off...This led to Snyder's DCEU...The apparent lack of critical and financial success on MCU's scale resulted in haphazard plans....Even now, should two movies perform poorly, WB will still go and reshuffle.... Suicide Squad 2 didn't really work out, you won't be seeing a 3rd party for some time....
My opinion is WB didn't just get rid of Zack(right decision by the way), they are trying to get rid of his story telling style and vision which means except for ultra successful films(Aquaman and Wonder woman) , they aren't really motivated to meet Cavill's financial asks because his movie didn't do as well as they expected...

They can move ahead with the female trinity and see how it works out, if it does, fine and good, if it doesn't, maybe another Batman movie will come to the rescue....

I really don't mind not having Batman in the new Justice League. They say Keaton is staying in DCEU as a nick Fury type of guy mentoring younger heroes and that is fine by me...

But it would really suck if they remove Superman as well. Knowing how WB execs behave.... They will probably write it in a way so that Superman would be off world on a special mission and then aggressively push Sasha Calle to the center stage. I don't want that nonsense...

If Supergirl will have a major role going forward, then Superman is needed as well. There is nothing wrong with having two kryptonians...an older, more experienced guy and a younger upcoming hero who's still trying to get the hang of things in the new time-line..

And unlike Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill is still passionate about Superman. He has said it several times and recently during the Witcher season 2 media rounds and interviews.

WB can make it work, it's not rocket science.

The whole female trinity thing might just be an alternate ending to guard against leaks but if it's true, I think Warner took the option they thought best for the situation as it would mean Cavill and Affleck have both declined to be in future movies and recasting them would mean getting roasted by Snyder fans(Una no get joy) and general DC fandome...

My opinion with the available info....

Well said, Pattison's batman is like a younger and inexperienced version. In the trailer there are shots of him hitting people repeatedly which shows that he is in so much pain and he has no control over his rage. In another shot, you'll see him with black eyes which could mean that he still having a hard time trying to live two lives. The costume looks like something that was made in a hurry.
I hope they give us a good movie.

You don't understand my point is the issue here. Batman story has been told and retold many times. Meaning most of the storylines, characters featured and so on have been done how many times? It keeps getting rebooted and similar story told again and again with similar characters as villains.
