I'm fairly certain it's an origin story, so you can bet your ass it's doomed. If you look at it objectively, it has all the hallmarks of a flop.

To compare The Batman to a thought-provoking film like Interstellar is absurd. For one thing, Interstellar is a hard science fiction film that provides a unique viewing experience. It has a phenomenal soundtrack, amazing visuals, a sympathetic theme, a great cast, a well-written script, a brilliant director, a well-paced story, and a premise that is firmly anchored in well-researched science. It's difficult not to fall in love with a film that emotes so sincerely and truly.

The Batman, on the other hand, is a full-fedged detective noir story. It's a given that there will be a lot of jawing and brooding and a lot less action and humour. Any intrigue in it will be lost in the muck of the muddled drivel. It's a disaster waiting to happen, and I say this as a DC fan.

This 'disaster' will outgross any movie WB put out this year.

Affleck has better fight scenes, half of Zack's budget goes to fighting which then gets bugged down by unnecessary slow Mo's(The Warehouse's beauty was it had no slow mo, just raw gritty action)..
Bale wanted to do a really grounded Batman so his fight choreography wasn't all that..
Can't remember the Baleman movies but he might be more skilled because Affleck was tagged everyother minute in the Warehouse despite fighting thugs(I remember Affleck because it's more recent, can't remember Baleman's fights)...
Asides the fight choreography, Baleman's the best Live action Batman there's been...Pattison might take it when his drops...

Surprised many people are picking Affleck here though, most DC fans in comic sites prefer Bale....

In an all rounder, Bale trumps Affleck, but Xavier made the statement 'How exactly does Batfleck has better fight scenes than Bale's Batman?' which was what prompted my reply. And I don’t think Bale’s Bat is even as skilled as Affleck’s, dark knight trilogy span across 10 years in which Batman was active for 3ish years, Affleck on the other hand has been doing it for 20years. And about getting tagged, it may be attributed to old age

Okay, let’s make this comparison. Compare when Bale was fighting Joker’s goon to when Affleck was fighting regime soldiers in knightmare scene. Which is more badass?

Who did he go up against, random thugs in a warehouse which is expected since he's a skilled combatant but when he went up against parademons or Steppenwolf, what was his performance? Why didn't he apply the same skill there?

Bale's Batman went up against Ralsaaghul, the one that trained Bruce Wayne himself, a super skilled mercenary with skilled mercenaries at his Beck and call and Bane, a super powered villain.

Do the comparison properly

And also, don't forget the directors that were involved.

One of my best Batman action scenes was were in The Dark Knight, Batman on a Batpod was going against Joker in a truck, the way he swerved the Batpod 360 after causing Joker's truck to crash was God tier.

But I respect your choice though. To me Christian Bale is the best Batman and Bruce Wayne, Robert Pattinson might over throw him though but till then

Had WB allowed the Affleck Bat movie, I’m sure we’d have an even better scene than the warehouse own against Deathstroke.

This is just you putting a director's problem on an actor. We all know Christopher Nolan doesn't do severe actions unlike Zack.

So if Bale's Batman couldn't fight, whose fault is that.

And also that statement is totally false. Ask yourself, who did Bale's Batman go up against, Ralsaaghul, the same person that trained him, a skilled mercenary and Bane, a super powered being. But who did Batfleck go against, some random thugs in a warehouse. Funny how people will compare both without considering who they went up against. When Bale's Batman go up against random thugs, he does extremely well.

Now ask yourself, when Batfleck went up against Steppenwolf, what did he do? Nothing, he wasn't even in the scene. When he went up against the parademons, what did he do? Simple, fought the parademons with a shooter and from his Batmobile, he didn't even engage in physical combat with them.

So when you say, Batfleck has better fight scenes than Bale's Batman, to me that's pure fallacy. How exactly does Batfleck has better fight scenes than Bale's Batman?

Joss is nailing his coffin, it’s his agent I’m pitying most amidst all these outbursts. More than 2 artiste are accusing him of something, instead of him to own up and apologise, he wants to turn it around on them.

Looks like I'm the only one who is hyped. I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I've been watching Predator (the very first) Since last week. Can't get enough of the movie. It's an all time classic.

I want to see what they'll do with this one since it's a prequel to all the previous movies.

The old movies were solid, the 2018 one was bad. I’m also looking forward to the new one, The Predator franchise is one of my favourite.

You don't get the comment. Was it a leaked pics? If you are going to release something as official, make it look good in a way it attracts audience. Of course when the lighting and cg will work on it, but why release something that gets you negative reviews for starters? Didn't you see the official pics of Shazam 2? It builds hype. Like I said, their business.

The trailer will attract the audience, nothing wrong with the suit imo

Honestly I dunno much about this. But Gunn seems signed on for more projects. We might get sequels of his two works.

Will let you know when I got more info.

Contemplating whether to see it now or wait for the whole season, that’s why I love Netflix’s shows, a whole season at once.

So far it's been great.

The dark comedy is fvvking God tier.
The opening credits is bonkers and hilarious.
The score is dope. The acting has been superb.
I was cracking up all through the midnight on this.

I planned on watching just one episode at 11pm before sleeping last night... Didn't know when I was forced to complete the 3 episodes till 3AM.


This scene fvvked me up I had to rewind like 10 times if not more...

Are they making a season or more of this show?

Just Like the x-men exist differently from the Avengers. I've always thought that blade has its own within the marvel verse too.

X-men existed separately because they belonged to Fox then, going forward now, all marvel characters with the exception of Spider-Man will exist in the same universe.

They knew/know what they signed up for, and are being compensated appropriately, so there's technically nothing altruistic about them. It's just a job, maybe a little bit more dangerous than others, but a job nonetheless.

They chose to do the job not minding the dangers involved, that alone is an altruistic act.

Seems the event of BvS will be canon in the Batgirl movie, I wonder how far Flash will mess up this new universe

HBOMax will pay, WB is about to sell their stake in CW, so all shows not cancelled will inevitably move to HBOMax.
